Chapter 81 - Chapter 81 Forced Rest

As Scarlett entered the inn holding Thomas she went to the room and set Thomas on the ground and then she woke Daisy while asking her if she'd help Thomas with his other injuries. Daisy woke up and glanced at Scarlett as she asked "What did he do this time?" Scarlett turned around and picked Thomas up as he said "Sorry about the mess." She stared at him as she muttered "What did you do?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I fought a corpse." She sighed as she asked "How many did you fight?" Thomas looked away and mumbled "If I say I fought the whole graveyard that'll probably be a bad thing to say but I didn't fight them all since when Scarlett killed that guy the rest of the ghouls bodies just fell over and most likely died." Thomas glanced at Daisy and said "I fought a few. Scarlett stared at him and asked "How did the tomb's wall get destroyed?" Thomas glanced at Scarlett and said "That might've been my fault." Scarlett set Thomas down on the bed as she asked "How did you destroy it?" Thomas glanced at her as he said "I destroyed it by getting knocked into it." Daisy glared at him as she asked "Are you sure your talking about your typical ghoul." Thomas sighed as he said "Can't say I'm sure but theirs a few destroyed gravestones to." Daisy stared at Thomas annoyed as she said "I'm not allowing you to move from this bed until your injuries are healed!" Thomas stared at her and said "I can't move even if I wanted to." Daisy sighed as she said "Whatever just don't move until your injuries are gone." Thomas stared at her and asked "How long will that take?" She thought about it for a minute and said "It should be about a week since none of your injuries are too serious." Thomas stared at her and sighed as he said "That'll take to long." Daisy stared at him and began to wrap his injury as she said "It's not like you have anything to do so why will it take too long?" Thomas smiled and said "I can't let Toby pass me up in strength." Daisy sighed as she asked "Why are you guys always so competitive?" Thomas said nothing as Scarlett chimed in and said "I do not know myself but it would be great if you could explain it." Thomas stared at them as he said "Dunno I just rely on instinct and do whatever." Daisy sighed as she said "You and Toby are hopeless." Daisy stood up and walked to her bag and pulled out some rope as she said "I'm making sure you don't leave this room tomorrow." Thomas stared at her as he nervously asked "Why do you have rope?" She began to walk towards Thomas as she said "I'm making sure you don't get yourself killed." Thomas stared at her nervously as he said "I'm sure there's no need for that rope." Scarlett glanced at Thomas and said "No the rope is very much needed because if you do act on an impulse and get yourself killed it would affect our team massively." Thomas stared at Scarlett and mumbled "Your only saying that because your not the one tied up." Scarlett glared at him as she said "It's not that we want to tie you up your just to unpredictable and we'd prefer you alive." Thomas sighed as he said "You don't have to tie me up I won't leave the room." Daisy glared at him as she asked "Are you sure you won't leave the room?" Thomas glanced at her and said "Yeah sure I won't leave." Daisy began to tie Thomas up as she said "We can't be too sure." Thomas glanced at her as he asked "Why are you tying me up I said I wouldn't leave." Daisy glanced at him as she said "I've firmly tied you to the bed." Thomas glanced at her as he said "Tied or not tied to the bed I can't move." Scarlett stared at him as she said "You will be able to move again tomorrow so look at this as a precaution." Thomas stared at her as he muttered "Fine." As they all went to sleep Thomas laid their mumbling "They seriously tied me to the bed." Thomas eventually fell asleep while wondering when they'd untie him. As morning came Thomas woke up and looked around the room as he mumbled "They left me here tied to the bed?" Thomas began to squirm around as he tried to get lose. Thomas looked around and began to bite at the rope as he said "Forget staying in bed while Toby gets stronger." After chewing on the rope for a few minutes Thomas glanced at the rope and mumbled "Not a damn scratch." Thomas look around and mumbled "Where did she tie the knot?" Thomas glanced at his chest and seen where the knot was as he mumbled "I can't reach it from here." Thomas began to move his tail out from behind him and moved it to his side as he mumbled "Now I got more space." Thomas began to struggle some more as he tried to bring himself closer to the knot." After reaching the knot Ocis walked in and seen Thomas as she asked "What are you doing?" Thomas stared at her with the knot in his mouth as he nervously said "I-I'm not doing anything thing." Ocis glanced at him as she asked "Why are you tied up?" Thomas began to pull on the knot as he said "No reason in particular." Ocis walked towards him and asked "Do you need help getting out?" Thomas glanced at her as he pulled the knot lose and said "I'm good I don't need any help." Ocis watched as Thomas stood up with the rope still on him as she asked "How did you get tied up?" Thomas glanced at Ocis and said "Daisy and Scarlett thought I was too reckless and that if they didn't tie me up I'd do something dumb and get myself killed." Ocis stared at him as she asked "Are you gonna get yourself killed?" Thomas shook his head as he said "I don't plan to." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "I trust that you won't die." Thomas glanced at her as he said "Well that's one plus I guess." Thomas hopped off the bed and walked to the door as he said "I'm gonna head out." Ocis stared at him as she said "Okay but be careful Daisy and Scarlett are out their and they might try to tie you up again." Thomas glanced at Ocis and walked to the window as he said "Thanks for telling me." Ocis put her wing to her head and said "You can count on me!" Thomas glanced at her as he asked "Can we keep this a secret?" Ocis nodded as she said "I won't tell anyone!" Thomas stared out of the window as he said "I'll be back in a few minutes I'm just gonna quickly stop by and grab my reward for taking down that guy using necromancy." Ocis walked over to the window and watched as he walked into a building. Ocis proceeded to jump out of the window and follow him into the building. As she entered the building she began to search for Thomas. After looking around she noticed Thomas at a counter talking to a person who handed him a decently sized bag of silver. Thomas grabbed the bag and put it in his satchel as he turned around Ocis was their standing in front of him as she asked "Are you ready to go back now?" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "She followed me, am I really That untrusted?" Thomas stared at her as he said "I'd like to do one last thing before I go back to the inn." Ocis stared at him as she said "I'll go with you!" Thomas walked out of the building and back to the graveyard. As he reached the gate he muttered "I couldn't help the ghouls." Ocis stared at him confused as she asked "Did someone you know die?" Thomas shook his head and walked into the graveyard and walked over to some of the bodies as he mumbled "I couldn't do a damn a thing." Ocis stared at the bodies as she asked "Did you know these people?" Thomas turned to Ocis as he said "I did but I couldn't help them, I was to late and by the time I tried to do anything it was already too late." Thomas began to walk towards the gate as he said "This place had a bit of life but it's long gone now." Ocis walked towards Thomas and grabbed onto his arm as she said "I'm sure their was nothing you could do about it so don't worry about it." Thomas glanced at her as he said "Let's just go back to the inn."
