As Thomas walked back to the inn he mumbled "If I'd have activated bolt of rage again theirs no telling who it may or may not harm." Thomas stared up at the sky as he mumbled "The ability takes a toll on my mana preventing me from using it for a while and I basically have little to no control over it." Thomas sighed as he mumbled "No one got hurt that wasn't suppose to so I guess it all worked out." As Thomas continued walking he heard four people call his name. When he turned to see who it was Lily jumped on him and knocked him to the ground. As Thomas seen her he said "Long time no see." As Lily got off of Thomas he stood up and looked at Scarlett, Ocis, and Daisy as he asked "Are you all ready to leave for the next town?" They all stared at Thomas as they asked "What did you do today?" Thomas stared at Daisy and put a finger up to his mouth as he smiled and said "That's my little secret." Daisy stared at Thomas as she said "I'm not keeping the secret you've been taking down the towns bandits all by yourself." Thomas stared at them nervously as he mumbled "Dammit they were expecting me to keep a low profile." As they all stared at Thomas he began to back up as Lily angrily asked "Where you doing something reckless?" Thomas stared at her while backing up as he nervously said "I had my reasons." Lily continued to walk towards him as she pointed to the bandages around his head as she shouted "Since you like getting injured so much why don't I have the slave seal give you a little shock." Thomas stopped moving as he said "Or you can hear me out and not do that." Lily smiled sinisterly as she said "If I let you off the hook this time you won't learn your lesson." Thomas turned around and muttered "Just get it over with." As Thomas stood their he felt his tail being grabbed. Once his tail was grabbed he fell to the ground and asked "W-what are you d-doing?" As he laid their Lily shouted "I'm giving you your punishment!" Thomas laid their as he mumbled "Dammit just shock me and get it over with." As he laid their he asked "A-are you sure Scarlett is the o-only demon here?" As Thomas said this Lily began to pull on his tail as she shouted "What did you call me!" As this happened more and more people began to gather around as they watched a little girl beat someone with a bounty of over one hundred gold coins. As this happened people began to chatter as they asked "Is that really the guy who defeated the bandits who have been tormenting our town?" Once Lily let go of his tail she stood their and said "Next time don't put your life in danger." As Thomas stood up he stumbled and said "Next time just shock me." Scarlett stared at Thomas as she asked "Is your balance gonna need time to reconfigure itself?" Thomas stumbled around as he said "It hasn't been messed with too much it should be back to normal soon." Ocis stared at Thomas as she asked "How did she beat you so easily?" Thomas stared at her and mumbled "I'm not gonna bother answering if their just gonna shoutout why after refusing to tell them." Moments after Daisy looked at Ocis and said "Grabbing his tail is both uncomfortable and can mess with his balance." Thomas stared at them and mumbled "I knew they'd just end up telling her anyway." Ocis stared at Thomas and began to walk towards him as she said "Now I know your weakness!" Thomas stared at her and stumbled backwards as he shouted "Don't even try it!" Ocis stopped moving towards him as she said "Okay I'll just grab it later!" Thomas stared at her annoyed as Daisy said "We should leave tomorrow." Thomas glanced at her as he said "That's fine by me." As Ocis walked closer to Thomas he stumbled back even further as he said "Quit trying to grab my tail." Ocis continued to walk towards him as he stumbled back and fell as she picked him up and grabbed onto his arm as she said "I'm not trying to grab your tail." Thomas let out a sigh of relief as he asked "So we're leaving tomorrow?" Daisy nodded as she said "We will want to leave for the next town with plenty of sunlight since the trip will take around two days." Thomas glanced at Ocis as he asked "What's the next town after this?" Daisy stared at him as she said "That's our secret." Thomas stared at them as he asked "So you all know?" They all nodded as Thomas mumbled "Why is it the only way I can have a secret is when I'm the only one who knows, but they can all agree to keep a secret from me." Thomas glanced at Ocis as he asked "Can you at least tell me what you guys did today?" They stared at Thomas as they said "We took on another goblin quest." Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "Congrats your a natural goblin slayer although I'd recommend taking on other quests, killing goblins might get boring." As the people of the town watched them bicker amongst themselves they began to whisper to each other as the entire crowd began to disperse. Once the everyone on the crowd left Thomas said "I thought they were all going to attack me and split the bounty." Lily stared at Thomas and shouted "Don't be stupid, why would normal people attack someone with a one hundred gold bounty?" Thomas stared at her and said "Well though that may be true under normal circumstances however everyone in this town just seen a kid beat me with ease." Lily stared at him as she nervously said "What if they're all gonna come back with a plan to beat you?" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "Am I the only one who thought about this?" Thomas sighed as he said "What's done is done we'll just have to deal with it." As the people began to come back they were all holding foods and kegs as they asked "Your not gonna leave yet are you?" Thomas stared at him as Daisy said "We plan to leave tomorrow morning." The man began to walk up to Thomas as he asked "Would you the hero who saved our people from the bandits be our guest of honor." Thomas stared at him as he said "Forget the hero part." The man stared at Thomas and asked why he doesn't like to be called a hero. Thomas stared at him as smiled and said "Leave that title to someone more deserving, like Toby." The man stared at Thomas as he asked "Who's Toby?" Thomas glanced at him as he asked "Do you really not know that a hero has been summoned from another world?" The man stared at Thomas confused as he said "Ignoring that, would you like to be our guest of honor?" Thomas stared at him as he said "Sure we might as well celebrate the end of your bandit problem." Thomas stared at him as he said "Although you might wanna clean up the body in that alleyway." The man stared at Thomas as he asked "What body?" Thomas said "Some guy named Brooks the bandit of stealing or something, I don't really remember but he's been dead their for a few hours." The man stared at Thomas as he shouted "You've taken down their leader Brooks the Thief!" Thomas nodded as he said "That's the name." The man stared at Thomas as he said "Our small town will be forever grateful to you." Lily stared at Thomas as she asked "What's he talking about?" Thomas stared at her as he said "The bandits you were yelling at me for fighting, they were the same bandits causing trouble for this town." Daisy stared at Thomas as she said "Yes I heard about these bandits they were the same bunch the kingdom ignored, I heard about the villagers request just before I ran away." Thomas glanced at her as he mumbled "So that king ignores his subjects?" Moments later people swarmed Thomas as they asked him how he defeated the bandits. Thomas sighed as he mumbled "I'll never be able to escape attention." As Thomas told them how he had set the prisoners free and how he had defeated the bandits the people who had set free all gathered to thank Thomas as they all said "We are eternally grateful to you." Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "I don't know why they're thanking me, I only acted on an impulse." Thomas glanced at them all as he mumbled "Seems like my impulses actually ended up saving people." Thomas looked around as he said "You shouldn't have to worry about anything for a while, but you and the rest of the people in this town might wanna do something so you can protect it yourself." They all nodded in agreement as Thomas stood up and began to walk towards the inn as he waved and said "I'm going to bed."
