Chapter 69 - Chapter 69 The Hidden Forest

As the morning came they set out to the next town and began to head towards their next big adventure. As they left the people of the town stood their as they waved goodbye and shouted "If you ever need a place to rest feel free to stop by!" After traveling for a while they eventually found themselves setting up camp under a starry night sky. As they each split up to do their own assign job as Ocis and Daisy went to get fire wood Thomas went to find food as Lily began to prep the cooking utensils and Scarlett set up the tents. As Thomas wandered off into the woods in hopes of finding something edible he found himself in a very thick forest with an absolute massive tree in the center of the forest. As he walked towards it he mumbled "A giant tree should have giant fruit." As he walked towards it something began to move in the trees as he glanced at them and mumbled "I'm being followed." Thomas looked back at the tree as he said "I wonder if they got any fruit?" As Thomas reaches the stump of the tree he looked up and shouted "Hello up their, say nothing if I can come up!" After not getting an answer Thomas shrugged and started to climb the tree as he shouted "I'm coming up!" After climbing for a few minutes five flying men hovered behind Thomas as they shouted "What business do you have climbing our sacred tree?" Thomas stopped climbing as he turned to look at them as he said "I'm looking for some fruit." They stared at him as they shouted "The fruit from this tree is sacred and is not fit for the likes of you!" Thomas glanced at him as he asked "Is the fruit any good?" The man threw his blade beside Thomas's head as it stuck into the tree Thomas poked it and said "I don't think your suppose to bring harm to sacred things." The man flew closer to Thomas as he shouted "This tree bears the fruit of the devil!" Thomas stared at him as he asked "What does it do?" The man grabbed his blade and ripped it from the tree as he shouted "The devils cherries will bring only rage and uncertainty to the consumer, so if you do not wish to bring harm to those around you than obtaining this fruit should be the last thing you would want to do." Thomas glanced at him as he said "I'm calling your bluff." The man angrily grabbed Thomas and shouted "This forest is alive if you wish to survive you better ask for it's forgiveness!" As the man threw Thomas he shouted "If you do survive I'd suggest you leave with your life!" As Thomas hit the canopy of the trees he grabbed onto a branch and swung down to the ground with some of the vines. As he landed on solid ground he mumbled "That bastard thinks he's gonna fool me with some story, well I'll show him!" As Thomas ran back towards the tree he shouted "Hey you flying prick get down here and fight me!" After being thrown off a few more times he ran towards the giant tree once again as the leaves began to shake once more as Thomas mumbled "Something's still following me?" As the trees stopped moving a small creature jumped out of them and onto to the ground as it stared at Thomas it began to make a whining sound. As Thomas walked towards it he asked "What's a small leafy green monster like you doing following me?" As Thomas walked past it he said "I'm sure I'll have time to figure out what you are later but as of now I'm still climbing a tree." While Thomas was walking towards the tree the small plant like creature followed Thomas to the stump of the tree. Once at the foot of the tree Thomas and the small creature began to clim the giant tree. After climbing for a while the same five flying creature shown up once again as the same one flew up to Thomas and said "I commend you on your survival however you shouldn't have returned." Thomas continued to climb as he said "Do what you will I'm climbing to the top and you can't stop me!" The man flew behind Thomas as he said "About the bluff, their is no devil's cherry how ever the fruit you are after may cost your life." Thomas continued to climb as he jokingly said "Who knew fruit was so cheap?" As Thomas said this the creature jumped onto Thomas's head as it stared at the flying people and began to bark. The people stared at the creature as they said "This creature only takes to kind people, so we shall hear you out." After saying this the man said "We are the fairies and we are the creatures who guard these lands." Thomas stared at him as he said "If you guard these lands then why don't you take that crumby king out?" The fairies stared at Thomas confused as they said "The fairy king and queen are lovely people who haven't done anything to the demi human race." Thomas stared at them as he said "Not the fairy king that damn human one that's near the ocean!" The fairies stared at him confused as he asked "Where are you from?" Thomas stared at them as he said "I'm from SeaPoint." The fairy stared at Thomas as he said "We have no such place in all the lands we control." Thomas stared at him as he shouted "Then how the hell did I get here?" As Thomas reaches the top of the tree the fairy stared at Thomas as he landed in front of him as he said "You were likely transported here by mistake." Thomas stared at him annoyed as he asked "How an I gonna get back?" The fairy walked towards Thomas as he said "Ignoring how you get back since you are now on top of our sacred tree we do have some rules." Thomas stared at the fairy as he shouted "Forget the damn rules how to I get back to where I was!" As the creature hopped off of Thomas head the fairy said "You are not permitted to attack the tree in any way, shape, or form." Thomas stared at him as he shouted "You literally stabbed the tree a few minutes ago!" The fairy walked towards Thomas as he said "This is the most crucial part, You are not permitted to steal the fruit." Thomas stared at him annoyed as he shouted "Then what the hell did I come up here for?" The fairy stared at Thomas as he said "The fruits in theses trees won't be found anywhere else." Thomas stared at the fairy as he asked "What the hell does any of this have to do with me getting back home!" The fairy pointed to a fruit as he said "That fruit right their can give the consumer temporary immortality." Thomas stared at the fruit annoyed as he shouted "Forget about the fruit how do I get home?" The fairy glanced at Thomas as he pointed towards a door in the tree as he said "Speak to the ancient fairy wizard who guards our tree." Thomas glanced at the fairy as he shouted "He sucks at his job." The fairy glanced at Thomas as he said "You need not worry about getting back to your home right now." Thomas glanced at him as he asked "Why shouldn't I worry?" The fairy pointed to the rising sun as Thomas shouted "It was just night how much time have I wasted?" The fairy said "As you can see time travels differently here." Thomas glanced at the fairy as he asked "So what an hour here is only a minute in the other world?" The fairy looked at Thomas as he said "No an hour in the other world is two months here." Thomas stared at the fairy as he shouted "My species will age a lot in just a few years!" The fairy stared at Thomas as he said "You are wasting your time than." Thomas ran towards the door as he opened it and ran inside he ran down the long hallway as he shouted "Yo wizard where are you?" After running for a few minutes Thomas ran into a small fairy girl with wings as they both fell to the ground Thomas stood up and mumbled "What did I hit?" As Thomas looked in front of him he seen what appeared to be a small girl laying on the floor in front of him. As he walked over to her he helped her to her feet and apologized as he said "I'm really sorry but I have to find this wizard or I'm gonna spend what are actually years in here and be super old in the other world even though it'll only seem like a few days have passed." As Thomas ran further into the tree the girl stared at where Thomas has gone confused as she asked "What was he doing?"
