"I forgot to say this, but you look beautiful today.", Aubrey tucked some strands of hair behind Lucy's ear.
He felt comfortable now that he had met her family. Although her father was a little difficult to deal with, it was still better than nothing.
"Hehe.. of course I am. I chose a dress with your eye color.", she grinned, and then he hugged her by the waist. They were flirting at the lobby. The two didn't want to think about the dinner anymore.
Some minutes later, Lucy's car arrived at the entrance and they went inside. Leaving the majestic hotel behind to go back home.
Earlier, the atmosphere in the private room was like the Antarctica, cold and very cold. But the conversations went on like nothing ever happened. Only her father was being stubborn and didn't say a single word. Aubrey was treated nicely by Annie and Leah. With Charles being there, nobody dared to say any word of objections. Gary also stayed silent, which further lowered the temperature inside the room. But neither Lucy nor Aubrey cared about him.
"Now let's go to my house to pack the remaining things. And then we can move in for real!", Lucy drove to Kalla Villa. Aubrey just smiled. Their other things had already been moved this evening.
At first, Aubrey wanted to move out from Lucy's place because her family had come to know of them living together. But now that her family knew about their marriage (thanks to her grandfater), they thought maybe it was better for Aubrey not to move out.
But he didn't want to stay. He said it would be better to start anew and he also treasured Lucy's house in Kalla Villa. He didn't want Adamson's people to go there searching for him. After all, that place was where everything started between him and Lucy.
Lucy then decided to follow her husband. She didn't want to part with him. Although staying in Kalla Villa was better since it was close to the hospital, she still wanted to be close with him. Well, she could just press the pedal and race to the hospital, perhaps she would get there by just 20 minutes from SereneHeights? Since her Bugatti was actually a sports car with 253 mph top speed.

The next day, Aubrey woke up at five. He saw Lucy, sleeping soundly beside him. He brushed her cheek slowly. And then he went to his office just beside the study. Locking the door, he walked to the desk.
All of the preparations were complete, and he was ready. But that was not his main concern. He wanted to find his grandfather, Silas Lee. And it seemed that he only had one choice; to meet Adamson and ask him directly.
Tomorrow was the day where he would say hello to the whole world and to Lee Group. To declare his war. He just hoped that Adamson wouldn't be able to touch Lucy. Not like he would ever allow that to happen.
"Aubrey? You there?", Lucy knocked on the door.
Aubrey opened the door for his wife and smiled.
"Why aren't you sleeping?", he asked her, his voice soft.
"It's cold when you're not there.", she said, rubbing her eyes gently.
"Come.", he took her hand and guided her inside.
The office was designed in pure crystal and glass. So it maximized the reflection of light. Only the faint light from the table lamp was enough to surround the entire room.
Aubrey sat on the office chair and he lifted Lucy to sit on him. She snuggled closer to his body while she folded her legs to hug her knees.
"What are you doing..?", she asked him.
"This.", he gave her a file.
Lucy took it and she read the content. Later, she just smiled and closed her eyes.
"I'm with you. So just do whatever you see fit.", she said.
"I will.", he wrapped his arms around her slim body. Like a cocoon, she rested her head on his chest and started to fall asleep again.
Only after ten minutes did she feel her body had landed onto the soft mattress. He was beside her for a while, to provide her with warmth. And then he disappeared into the office again.

On the next day, words got through the entire city that a young master of Lee family was home. He came back from abroad after seventeen years since the fire outbreak of Lee mansion.
The news pictured a photo of a man in front of Hotel La Rosa, with him was a young woman known as Lucy Kim, the granddaughter of the owner of Prime Hospital. The news heated up in less than an hour and was viral. Its title was eye-catching to those business tycoon around the country, and it shook the whole business world.
YOUNG MASTER LEE COMES BACK FROM ABROAD. WAS ACTUALLY THE HEAD CONSULTANT OF LEE GROUP.
But majority of the online comments were centered around Lucy. Who was walking side by side with the young master.

-He was abroad all this time?

-Did young master Lee comes back for her?

"You even publicize our relationship..", Lucy turned to Aubrey.
"You don't want to? But you said it's okay last night.", Aubrey said, reminding her of the file she had read in his office.
"What? Of course I want it! I want them to know that you only belong to me!", Lucy laughed. She was actually liking the idea. And her face became famous in the upper social circle because of that. Sometimes a little bit of publicity wouldn't hurt.
Aubrey thought the only way to break free from Adamson was to announce his existence to the masses. With that, everyone knew he was actually alive and Lee Group would be expecting his return. In the presence of the whole world, Adamson wouldn't be able to do anything to him. At least not publicly.
"Let's go, honey.", Lucy stood up and she went to Aubrey. She cupped his cheek and she kissed him slowly.
"Let's meet him.", she said.
".. yes.", he took her hand and he kissed her fingers. He was so blessed to have her by his side.
