Barnes, who probably finally realized what was happening snapped out of his drunken state fully alert. "Who are ya!? Are ya the person Vee sent!?" Barnes waved his bottle around. Hearing his words he most likely switched the prostitute house he sold girls too since Sophie was dead.
It started off as a giggle, then a low laugh until before I realized it, I was cackling out barely able to catch a breath of air as my voice reverberated through the air. After a few moments I took a few breaths trying to regain my composure.
"Barnes, you old fool you're still the same huh?" I flipped over my hood to reveal my face. Barnes shook his head a bit trying to focus on my face in the foggy night. "You don't recognize me fool? Even if I look different you should recognize the voice of the girl or should I say money bag for a year?" I took a few steps towards him the dry leaves beneath me crunching at each step. Each step I took he took two back staring at me confusedly.
"You, you can't be sent from Vee right they would never reveal their face!" He pointed at me accusingly.
"I never said I was them," I smiled, blood quickly pumped through my body making my heart race in excitement and the adrenaline that drilled through me kept the hairs at the back of my neck on edge.
"Huh!! TELL ME WHO ARE YA!?" I scrunched my face at his loud voice and I looked in disgust seeing large golf-balls fly out his mouth in a torrent.
"Nice to see you old man, it's been awhile huh?" His back hit a tree trunk and realizing he was about to be cornered he tried to slip away but I was already in front of him staring into his brown sunken, dreary eyes. "Old man tell me you recognize me yet? This blue eye, this silver hair? Isn't the money you got for me what keeps you drunk all day? Hmm? Tell me old man," I pulled his chin up to look at me and stared at him observing the change in his expressions. First was confusion, realization, shock before his eyes widened in terror, It was fun to see the array of emotions that go through a human.
"You, yer....that girl.....Indi?" His eyes had widened to such an extent I wondered if they would just pop right out. Sweat poured out his pores running down his face that was rosy pink from the recent alcohol.
"Good you still remember me," I smiled sweetly
"YOU, YOU SHOULD BE DEAD EVERYONE THERE DIED THAT DAY HOW ARE YOU ALIVE!!!??" Golf balls flew from his tongue landing on my face I wiped the saliva off with the back of my hand before wiping it on his shirt the look of abhorrence on my face not leaving for a second.
"Old fool, the point is I'm alive, remember I said I'd get revenge? Well, I came for that let's get started shall we?" I pulled off my eye-patch letting it fall to the ground, the dimly glowing eye casting his my face in a deep red glow enhancing the sinister smile that pulled at the corners of my lips.
