"What is with the outfit dude?" My buddy, Sean, said when I walked into his apartment. I look down at my white plain t-shirt and black sweats.
"What you talking about, man?" I asked.
"I'm talking about the picture you post on instagram, those shoes didn't go with that shirt." He said showing me the picture and I laughed.
"Well, three thousand people think differently," I said looking at my likes and Sean rolled his eyes.
"Most of them are girls who likes your face, so.."
"Speaking of girls, Paul is throwing a pool party today.."
"I'm in, anything with beer and ladies, I'm always in," Sean said and I smiled.
"Yesterday, I met a girl," I said looking at the ground thinking back to the girl at the flower shop. Sunni, was her name, very beautiful but never thought I would be attracted to that type of beauty.
"Ah oh, you have that look in your eyes," Sean said leaning back and I smiled.
"She is definitely not the type I usually date, but something about her interested me," I said before waving it off, "but even if I did want to go out with her, she seems closed off..."
"Bullshit, if you see her again you better make a move," Sean said standing up, "hopefully she's at this pool party because my bro needs a date to get off my ass."
"I'm definitely not anywhere near your ass," I said making that very clear.
"Sebastian, yes you are..."
"No, I'm not..." and we continue arguing on our way out the door.
(At the pool party...)
"Ah oh, ah oh, is that Mr. G baby!" Sean said when we arrived at the party to see our other pal, Garret.
"Well ain't it the S twins," Garret said giving Sean the bro hug then me, "I haven't seen y'all in a minute."
"That's because you went MIA on us, man, where you been?" Sean said crossing his arms over his chest.
"Baby mama drama, I'm telling you don't fuck with just any bitch because they might be crazy," Garret said rolling his eyes and I laughed.
"I told your dumbass that she was crazy," I said hitting his shoulder then I fix my hat.
"But sexy as hell," Sean said.
"And that what got me," Garret said drinking whatever he had in his red cup, "so what's up with y'all."
"Just enjoying my summer before I have to go back to work with my dad," Sean said. We walked towards the bar and got us a few drinks.
"I can't believe your dad let you have the whole summer off every year," I said shaking my head, Sean got his degree in engineering and now he works in his father's company where he make bank a year and he doesn't even work summer, he said that was his father graduating gift for him, bastard.
"That's why I love my father," Sean said toasting his father before taking a drink.
"Well, I have an art show coming up..."
"I still can't wrapped my head around you being an artist," Garret said and I laughed.
"I thought you will be in front of a camera, not behind a canvas," Sean said.
"Yeah, like, aren't you suppose to be on a cover of a magazine by now, my dude?" Garret said. I'm telling you, If you don't have a group of friends that hype you up like we do then they ain't your friend.
"Thanks for the hype but I enjoy painting, my father did and I just inherited it," I said shrugging my shoulder. Painting is my baby, I draw too, but I love to paint, my parents even bought me my own studio which is now filled with canvas after canvas of painting or drawing I did. I actually sold some of my painting to people when I decide to do an art show. My work is very precious to me so I don't really show a lot of my work to people, but when I need money I pick out some painting that aren't as valuable to me and make some cash out of them.
"I'm definitely there for you, always have to support my dude, and hey I might buy one too, my walls are a little bare," Sean said.
"Thanks man," I said looking around the party.
"Enough of the chitchat, let's go have some fun," Garret said walking pass us and towards the pool.
"Let's go find us some ladies!" Sean said wrapping his arms around my neck and we began to walk towards the pool. My eyes flick to the entrance to see the girl from the flower shop walking down the stairs from the house and into the backyard. She was locked arms with another girl laughing about something, my eyes traveled down her body and back up getting the full look of how sexy she looked in the black bikini.
"She's here," I said to Sean stopping us in our tracks.
"Who here's?" Sean asked roaming his eyes everywhere trying to figure out who I was talking about.
"The girl from the shop," I said quickly pointing over to her.
"Damn Sebastian, that is definitely not your type but I see why you're interested," Sean said tapping my chest, "do you really want to pursue that? Nothing rude, but she's not the skin tone you usually go for."
"And how that being going so far for me, absolutely nowhere, maybe it's time to mix up a few things beside...look at her," I said biting my lip when she slowly start moving her hips to the music.
"Then go get her number!" Sean said pushing me slightly.
"I can't just ask for a stranger number," I said turning around to him and he laughed.
"Then how the fuck else you're going to get a girlfriend," Sean said and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't need help talking to a girl, I got it," I said turning around looking over to her at the same time she looked over at me. A recognization cross her face before a small blushed form on her cheek before turning back to her friend and said something then her friend looked over at me and I smirked.
"You better go over there," Sean said pushing me again.
"I'm going," I mumbled slowly making my way over to her hoping I don't say anything stupid.
Sunni POV
"Ok, this is fun!" I said to Madeline as we made our way to the bar.
"See, I knew this was your type of environment, though I have to beg pens and needles for you to come to the club with me," Madeline said rolling her eyes and I smirked.
"The club is not my thing, but this is lively, bright, and I don't know..."
"Don't worry, I'll eventually get you in the groove."
"Will see about that, now like I promise your mother, let's find you a man," Madeline said turning to the party.
"How are you going to find me a man when you can't even find yourself a man."
"Ouch, ok bitch," Madeline said glaring up at me.
"Just sayings," I said looking to my left and that's when I saw him, the guy from the shop. I blushed when his eyes looked into mine.
"He's here!" I said turning to Madeline.
"The guy from the shop, where?" Madeline said and I told her the guy in the black trunks on the other side from us.
"He's looking at you and I think he likes what he sees," Madeline smiled and I hit her arm.
"Oh stop," I said crossing my arms over my chest as I blushed even more.
"He's cute plus he haven't stop smiling yet since I've been staring at him," Madeline said looking up at me, "go ask him out."
"No, why would I do that?" I asked grabbing another drink and slowly sip it.
"Why not, he finds you interesting and you find him interesting..."
"How would you know?"
"Because he's friend is trying to push him to come over here to talk to you," she said.
"That doesn't mean anything..."
"He's coming, damn he's tall and why does he look like he paint or some shit..."
"Shut up!" I groaned covering my face becoming nervous.
"Don't say anything stupid and don't just stand there like a fucking doll, and don't make it awkward, you always do that, and please control your blinking, you do that a lot when you're nervous," Madeline said and I frown.
"No, I don't," I said.
"I will record you doing it so don't try me," Madeline said.
"Am I walking into an argument?" The guy from the shop said coming up next to us.
"Hey, didn't know I was going to see you again so soon," I said looking up at him and he smiled.
"Me either....you look good," he said and I blushed.
"Aww, thanks for noticing," I said as causal as I can moving my hair behind my ear.
"It's hard not too," he mumbled and we both smiled at each other. Why, it's so easy to talk to him.
"Oh I see that you're perfectly fine on your own, so I'm going to leave you to it," Madeline said before quickly walking away from us.
"From the vibe I got from the shop, I wouldn't think you would go to these type of things?" He said.
"What type of vibe you got from me?" I asked wiggling my nose nervously.
"Lay back and chill type of girl," he said and I nod.
"That's me, but here and there I do let my hair down and have some fun a little."
"So I actually have a chance on taking you out on a date?" He said and my eyes widen.
Sebastian POV
I couldn't help but chuckled at her reaction when I asked her about going out with me. A huge smile appeared on her face, her smile is breathtaking beautiful and the way the sun hit her faces showing off her beautiful freckle face.
"You're serious?" She asked covering her face.
"It doesn't have to be a date date, we can just hang out and chill..."
"I do love to chill," she said and I smiled, "yeah, I would love to hangout."
"Cool, cool," I smiled and the rest of the time we just set at the pool and talked. She was different from any other girl I have dated but something about her draws me to her and even though I barely know her, if feels like I do. So, I'm actually excited to see where this go
