When she opened her eyes, she felt her fingers brushed through the softness of the mattress under her fingertips as she saw myself stuck in an unfamiliar room. Lina looked around groggily, trying to figure it out where she was, but no to avail. Her eyelids feel a bit heavy as her gaze is a little but unfocused, so she rubbed her eyes with her palms trying to shoo away the grogginess away.
Streaks of sunlight passed through the creak of the curtains, while its warmth caressing at her. Still, Her body felt drained. It wishes her to be lazy and stayed on the bed the whole day, however, Lina quickly move into a sit position as she remembered she wasn't at the mansion and here she is, stuck to the unknown.
Memories flashed through her eyes, now she remembers every single thing on what happened yesterday. Her cheeks flushed in faint red as she remembered something inappropriate, making cover her face with her palms, flusteredly.
She shifted her eyes on her clothes that had changed into strange night dress – its fabric painted in midnight blue, mixed with silver that has swirl patterns through it. Simple, but elegant.
She remembered the words of the highness. She was now in the Isharislynkia, the only cat kingdom. It was still hard for her to digest the fact that she found this place after the fall.
She fixed her eyes around the shadowed room due to the curtains that hindered the light from passing through. The chambers were made very grandly. Nothing that even she used to, nothing she ever taste to live in. But now she was stucked this unknown place without anyone to trust with.
Her gaze turned to see a balcony door to the right of the King-sized bed, the large glass extending from the ceiling to the floors, cream, mint blueish sky clouds curtains swayed softly by the morning breeze, shadowing the view outside, behind them.
She found herself walking towards it. Slowly, moving the curtains aside and step through between them. She watched, wonder struck at the tiny brick homes scattered on the miles away until the shores end.
With a tiny flick, the balcony's door slid open, and slowly but surely, she edged out onto it. A hint of salt in the sea waters filled on her nose, reminiscing her home town oddly. The sounds of the sea shore—sounds from far away—even the sun just have arisen the splashing sounds of the waves still reached all the way to the castle. In worthwhile, birds chirping and singing happily at the welcome of the pleasant morning, standing their tiny legs, on the branch of the trees nearby.
The morning breeze is surprisingly chilly and soothing.
A sweep of chilly breeze smacked across her face, making her shudder on its coldness. A soft sneeze came from her lips, making to cover her nose.
She decided to came back on the bedroom, however, a sweet voice echoed on the other side of the door, and, says.
"Breakfast's ready, Miss." she knocked the door slightly.
"You may come in." a response escapes my lips.
A girl with cat ears, seemingly around her sixteen or seventeen age, came to the room, brought with a tray of porridge, wearing a maid dress and a apron hanging infront of it.
Lina pursed her lips into thin line, what is this? Why am I treated like some kind of Princess? She yelled at her thoughts.
"Here, Miss!" she bowed her head.
"Thank you, for the meal! But you don't need to bow.." Lina felt uncomfortable with her doing it.
"Alright, Miss. May I prepare for you a warm bath?" the maid suggested to make her do it.
"Uhm, I can prepare a bath with myself, thank you.." Lina greatly appreciated the maid's courtesy.
"But Miss..this is my-" the maid looked at her, frightened.
"No, no I'll do it myself.." Lina argued her with it.
The maid sighed and nodded.
Lina finished her breakfast, making the maid take the tray away, and bowed before she makes her way to the door.
"Uh wait! What is your name?" Lina wanted to know so, she could remember her.
"I'm sorry, our highness prohibited us to say our names. " the maid never looked to her eyes.
"How about I'll take it as a secret!" Lina grinned.
The maid blushed and nodded,
"It's Haru.."
Lina gasped, and widened her eyes at the familliar name, but shook her head that it was impossible.
"You may dismiss now.." Lina dismissed her as she followed the way how the main lead says when they dismissed their maids as the stories.
Her name seemed so familliar at the movie titled, "The Cat Returns". 'Don't you think?' She furrowed her eyebrows on that thought.
After her bath, she changed into long sleeve dress, which is the only cloth that has its covered closely for the entire skin. But unexpectedly, it's somehow very fitting to her.
She swayed her body and moved into the seat next of the mirror stand. When she looked at her reflection, almost unrecognized herself, a pale small face with a messy hair that is still wet from the bath; she's wearing a long faint blue long-sleeve gown that hugged her waist which is very fitting to her due to her skinny figure.
She decided to tied her hair into elegant bun as she take last glimpse to the mirror before she left the chambers.
'Here we go.' she inhaled deeply, and closed the door with her hands holding the door knob, slowly backing away as she ready herself and walk slowly towards to her destination.
