"Isn't she a human girl?" someone mocked and laughed.
"Wow! How long she's been here?" one asked curiously.
"I've heard another human stumbled the palace yesterday." added another one.
"Couldn't it be her?"
Others nodded.
"She seems got tame than others." one commented amusedly.
"Why can't I have a pet who is obedient like her." someone groaned.
"Well, indeed, she's a smart one."
Their stupid compliments made Lina rolled her eyes.
"Humans are such nuisance beings." someone else commented, crossing his arms. "I've encountered one. They were greedy creatures; mostly will become aggressive and hostile towards anything that threatens their survival."
Others agreed while some yawned as if they already knew it.
"She's a young one. How on Lynkia, she stumbles this place?"
"She's really quiet."
"Kinda cute."
"At least, she isn't noisy."
"No, she's observing."
"Look at her, and she's indeed beautiful."
Some gawked at her, flabbergasted.
"Can I take her as a pet?" someone is itching, a little later, only getting a return by the silver cat with a domineering cold glare.
"You couldn't take another's pet." the other glared the one spoke.
"Such ruckus. Quiet down."
As of the moment, Lina could not figure out who was speaking.
"When the girl showed up, don't you think it involves the Dark Lord arrival?"
Silence fell.
All gazes turned back at me.
"Where did she came from?"
"Here in front of us, is the human individual that was found in the Forbidden Fountain. Thus, it means she went through from the human dimension."
There's a slight pause. "That's unacceptable. Not all human beings get through that. Unless they had a collar that binds them to be alive on this dimension."
"Well, apparently, this girl can."
Another silence took over.
Everyone looked at the young girl's empty neck as if they're looking at her like she was a ghost. Lina felt a little uneasy, both of her palms clutching her dress tightly. Nevertheless, the silver cat rubbed her back in comfort.
"Without a collar, she couldn't survive in a minute."
"Luxus, the young heir of the Isharislynkia Empire. Should we investigate the girl's background?"
"No need." the silver cat pulled down the girl from his lap and stood.
"After three days, we'll decide to give her a test."
"What do you mean, Luxus?"
"She'll visit each of the empires and see what she could do. And makes sure she wouldn't be on the hands of the Dark Lord." After that, he disappeared and left with a dark red mist in the thin air.
Lina thought if he has forgotten her.
Everyone gazed admirably.
"Maybe this little one is a special one."
Lina puffed her cheek and walked to the back door, where she went earlier and slammed the door brutally.
A voice from the other side yelled triumphantly. "Hah! I knew it. She's a feisty one too."
Lina ignored them and decided to move her legs away from them as possible.
Hearing them their peals of laughter. Lina shook her head and kept her eyes focused her way back. Seeing a cat maid near on the window, wiping the glass with a cloth. She decided to ask her if there's a library somewhere in the castle.
"Yes, there's a library here but not everyone permitted to go there. Nevertheless, if you wanted to check where it was then, you'll just have to walk straight on the corner, turn left you might see a garden as you pass after that you could take more steps towards the back and you see swirl stairs coming way up. You'll able to see the brown doors up there that lead to the library. But Miss, If I were you, I'll dismiss that thought to go there. His Highness refuses anyone to enter it." the young maid perked down her cat ears in showing respect, wondering why Her Highness let his pet roam around the palace freely.
"Fine, I'll change my mind. I'll just head back to my room.." Lina mumbled, making the maid heard it. Her doll shoes stumped on the floors as she makes her way through the hallway in straight, once Lina went to pass the garden. She looked and checked her surroundings to know if there's anyone saw her. With no maids or anyone else around, she clutched her dress and bolted her way at the back of the garden.
