Lina let out of breath when she stepped inside the chambers as she listened to the doors being closed behind her—pulling out the shoes where her bare foot touched the floor, nakedly on the cold pavement. She practically ripped off the dress, including all of its ridiculous undergarments, and placed the book on the bedside table. She was reaching her fingers to the cabinet to grab her nightclothes and slipped back into the white nightgown. After dressing, a deep voice startled her poor heart that seemed to leap out from a moment.
"Where have you been?" His figure slipped out from the curtains near the balcony. Lina wondered how he gets in.
"Y-Your Highness." Lina shrieked like a squirrel as if she was caught from stealing.
" I asked you a question." a hint of anger and worries that was held from his words.
"I had fresh air in the garden." Lina chuckled nervously, never thinking if it sounds like a real lie but a half-truth. In other words, she told a white lie to the silver cat king.
She dared to look at the golden orbs that were burning in hidden rage, to avoid him finding out that she made a lie.
"I found something interesting while you're changing." making the male silver cat twitch into a teasing smile, completely unaware of the weight that held on her hands.
Lina was dumbfounded, hoping he didn't see something on what did she think as it was. Out of anxiety, she checked her clothes if she was dressed entirely or not. But there's nothing wrong with it.
A familiar book appeared on the hands of the silver cat. Fear crawled on her veins, as she stumbled back near the walls, clutching her palm fistly on her chest to calm her. Being caught unexpectedly on something that is permitted is out of her intention.
"Do you even know what this is?"
Surprisingly, I voiced out in return, "No.."
"The Lost Winsfleir. It's a forbidden tale that hasn't heard in years. Long ago, these guardians were born with an ability, an ability inherited from six races. All people fear them until one day, they saved us from the Dark Lord. They pursue the prophecy to saved each race until a winsfleir betrayed our kinds due to the greedy of power. The Light Lord decided to exterminate them leaving none to start a new one. As the strongest dark ones revive, the maiden will reborn, she'll bloom essentially like a lily flower; once the full moon rises revealing its hair and eyes painted with moonlight glow like silver. As soon as what's shrouded is revealed, an unfortunate accident shall usher forth an end to the monarchy and the rise of what was forgotten. " His gaze locked into her black ones, shimmering with curiosity.
"Did anyone found the maiden yet?" Lina frowned worriedly.
"No. Everyone thought it doesn't exist anymore" he said, a chuckle in his voice amusedly. Lina couldn't see what was funny. He must've seen something in her face.
Her eyes began to droop a little making her yawn escapes from her lips.
"You should take a rest now. " He walked out of the room. Lina tried to leave all thoughts about the book behind, knowing her curiosities would have to wait.
She stared at the ceiling as her thoughts wander about the man on the mansion. Deep inside, a surge of hatred whenever she remembers that incident. He was her pet where she signed the contract that held the responsibility for taking care of him. With a twist and turn of irony, she transmigrated from far away land where she doesn't have a clue when it does exist.
After moments longer, the drowsiness took over her mind and slowly drowned herself into a blissful world of slumber.

Meanwhile, on the other side.
It began a pitless dark night; where a dark cloaked figure was riding on horseback, through a dark thick forest. It wasn't long before another dark figure stood under the sturdy old tree not far enough at the dark cloaked figure's way, and stared to the rider. That night the rays from the moon shone beams through them, and then suddenly the clouds swept across the moon as hick darkness covered over the thick trees of the forest.
The rider felt a sudden dark and powerful aura and a strong gust of wind was moving swiftly towards the cloaked figure but did not fear it, a dark and shadowy mist wavered wildly throughout the dark forest.
The mysterious rider pulled back the hood to reveal a woman with long wavy hair, pair of cat ears; black as ink, together with venomous pitch-black eyes. She knelt down to the ground and bowed her head.
"Well," A horrid cold voice hissed the darkness of the mist. "Have you done the deed?"
"I have done as you commanded, My Lord," the cloaked woman responded and purred at the man. "He won't notice the attack on the south quarters. "
"You've done well, my faithful servant." The shadow laughed with pleasure.
"But my Lord there's something I've also wanted to report in a serious matter." The cloaked woman warned gravely.
"What is the matter you speak of?" The shadow inquired with a displeasure tone.
"I saw a girl with unknown origins roaming around the palace freely. " The cloaked woman reported, "She is a human with black hair and pale black eyes."
"You are sure of this?" The shadow man asked.
"Yes, I am certain of it, Master." The cloaked woman confirmed.
There was a slight paused, where the shadow man took a deep thought. "It's her," he mumbled as he twitched his lips into a smile. He faced the servant and ordered. "If you were able to take the girl. I'll double the reward." He vanished where it left a dark mist on the air.
The woman frowned and kicked the horse as she headed towards the palace where she could find the girl. It was an eerie tranquil night.
