Morana
The Chimon ruined my mood. All she was yapping about was an abomination this, an atrocity that. I mean, whose fault was it that I came out a hybrid?
It was not like I told my parents to broke the unspoken rule of making hybrids.
"Hey, dad, don't fuck my mom!" I mumbled this below my breath as I lick my fingers. That was a treat; eating another supernatural being was different. I felt more energized.
The bloodlust was more intense. I had to stay here for a while till it calms down.
Otherwise, I would accidentally eat Uncle Wes and his wife. I laid back on the crimson tree, with my enemy's blood below me. I bet the scene was glorious.
I think back to what the Chimon said in deep thought. Someone was out to kill me. I now wanted to know who it was. A thrill at the aspect shot up my spine. I was becoming excited at the thought of someone brazenly trying to kill me.
The forest was still alive, even after the gruesome death of that little Chimon. I was still stuck on what she said. Now that the thirst wore off, the throne talk made more sense. She was referring to the underworld throne, I knew that much, but I didn't want it.
Feeling the relaxing effect of a full stomach and a serene atmosphere, I put my hands behind my back and close my eyes with a little smile on my lips.
Abomination? Me?
Never.

I hear crunching in the forest approaching me, and I open my eyes slowly. I hear two heartbeats and eight feet. Or should I say paws?
I know that it is Uncle Wes and his wife, who are probably looking for me. Rising to my feet, I try to move my arms up, and when I do, I feel the stickiness on my skin.
Blood. Chimon blood, to be exact. It was at that moment that I realized how much blood was around me. Shit.
There is no way I am coming out of this.
The sound of rustling bushes beckons my attention and out jumps two giant wolves with an angry look in their eye.
They eye me for a while, and then I see their eyes drift down to the splash of blood behind me.
They swiftly turn back to me, and I smirk. I put my hands up in mock surrender, returning their heated gaze. "What?" I know what I did, but for the death of me, I could not care.
"I was hungry!" They don't even growl, just shift back to their human form. I look into their eyes, and I know they are disappointed.
An unfamiliar churn appears in my stomach as I gaze at their faces. I have never felt like this before, so while eyeing them, I rest a hand on my stomach.
"Ana, you can't keep doing this. We,'" he gestures to himself and his wife, "can't keep doing this. You killed a supernatural Sonny. She was one of our own." The way he isolates me from himself and his wife makes the feeling even more apparent in my gut. I grip my stomach harder, wondering why I feel this sensation.
"Ana dear, if authorities realize what happened here, there will be problems. For you and us." This time, Maria talks, and I clench my free hand.
"Are you guys kicking me out or something? " I try to keep my tone light, but I don't know why I can't.
Uncle Wes steps forward cautiously, almost like he is approaching a griffon. Those things are fierce.
"No, your home is here, Ana, but you have to go to the Academy earlier than we wanted. You will be more out of control if you stay."
I don't even tell them that the Chimon attempted to kill me. I just take in what they are saying.
Wait.
"What? I get to go to school now since I might be in trouble?" I wasn't eager to go to school before. But now that I had the chance to be Serena's senior by a few months, I was excited.
They glance at each other, then at me. "Yes, we already bought your stuff for when you would have enrolled, but now you don't have to wait."
"So when are we going there?" I wanted to wait for a while since when I am in a new environment, I get very hostile. Knowing where I am going and what will be there makes me calmer.
"You are going there starting Monday." I almost launched myself at Uncle Wes. He noticed this and stepped back while his hands were on his wife's shoulder. "You know you have to go as soon as possible."
Great.
xXx
It is Monday, and I had most of my things packed in the void space, it was a magical item where you could store a certain amount of things until you were ready to use it. It was in the form of a necklace I got for my tenth birthday.
I was intrigued by the school thing, but now knowing that we have to wake up early every day for five days almost made me kill Uncle Wes. I couldn't do this for four more days. It was physically impossible.
Not to mention, my bloodlust was getting intense with the thought of going somewhere new. My fangs itched literally, and my nails were fluctuating in length. If I touched anyone now, I would kill them.
I was waiting for the time when I couldn't control it anymore then I snap at some unsuspecting fucktard. For now, I took my mind off where we were going and back on Uncle Wes.
I am currently waiting for Uncle west to take me to the Timekeeper in our area so we could go to this school thing. As if I summoned him, he appears in my sight with his official citizen badge and mine.
We didn't speak, just moved around each other to bring the last pieces of my things in the car.
"Uncle, would they allow us in the school thing this early?" I was wondering out loud. I know he said I had to go to earlier than planned.
"The Academy is opened twenty-four seven, all year round. But we are leaving this early because I need to speak with the headmaster about your restrictions." I rose an eyebrow at his statement. Restrictions? I didn't need any restrictions.
I didn't argue with him, though. I wanted to see how this school thing was.
We walked to the side of the house to get the car. We would arrive at the Timekeeper in about fifteen minutes, and it was not enough time to sleep till then.
I seriously don't think I will get along with the ridiculous school times.
Uncle Wes uses the car key to open the car automatically and then gestures for me to get in. I sludge through the wet grass, twigs, and dirt and then plop in the seat.
"You can't expect me to do this every day when I arrive at the thing." I was exasperated and, for some reason, stuck on the school hours. He didn't answer me.
Timekeeper here we come.

After driving for what seemed like a few minutes, we came to a stop. The tower of purple mist that spanned to the top of the sky was more noticeable now. A black building was below the beam of purple along with two top-tier trenchmen guarding by.
The trenchmen were guardians, and they were abnormally tall with black mist by there feet. I have never seen one in action, but the books said they were some of the fiercest beings in this realm.
"Westmore Brinham, here to see the Timekeeper?" Trench one said as we came closer. I was fascinated with the thing, and I could feel the power roll off of them in waves. Though they were top tier in their species, they were one of the weaker beings on the scale of power.
As soon as I said this, I wondered how many influential people are going to be at school.
With a killer smile, I rubbed my hands together in utter joy. My first victim will have to be a griffon, of a sphynx but a- Crap! I couldn't kill them!
With that, my mode became even crappier.
I silently take out my book bag, and we head inside the Timekeeper's building for transport.
Inside the hall, the beam stands in the center with a cloaked figure next to it. There is a set of golden stairs that lead into the rays of light, and I can't wait to use it. By the stairs is a man in a black coat with gold trimmings. He kept his head down like he was in some sort of trance.
Uncle Wes didn't seem fazed by this and approached the stairs. As we came closer, the man in the hood slowly rose his head.
Purple mist shields his eyes from view, but his mouth was free. In a deep baritone, he began to speak.
"Westmore Brinham, where do you wish to go?" Uncle Wes handed over his citizen badge and turned to me while pointing to the man.
"Give him yours." Not needing to be told twice, I gave it to him.
He turned to the Timekeeper and, in a grave voice, requested passage. "We are going to the academy for new enrollment."
He didn't say anything else, he just pointed to the beam, and it got a little brighter.
"To the academy." The beam started to hum, then Uncle Wes walked forward and jumped into the light. I am so going to use this often.
And then I jumped.
