"I kind of understand, but will it really work?" Isha asked, tilting his head as he looked up at Rei. They were still in the warehouse. Isha was sitting, his legs folded underneath him.
"That's for you to decide." She replied, staring down at him. "Just close your eyes and try to feel your tail and horns. See if you can't hide them." She flipped through the now dead cultists book as she spoke. "Theoretically, if you can control you're demonic appendages, you can control your powers. Which should have increased after the meal you had." She added, glancing at one of the dismantled bodies.
Isha nodded his head, bowing it and then closing his eyes.
"First feel your horns and tail, then try to find where there connected. Careful though, you may run into your demonic self. He shouldn't be able to get out, so try not to unseal him." She sighed, the sound of paper flipping.
Isha thought first about his horns. They felt a bit like fingernails, how when you think about it you can feel them in your fingers. As he thought about the tail, he felt it twitch. Unlike how a normal tail just waves about; if Isha put enough thought to it, it seemed as though he could control it a bit. As though it were a prehensile tail.
As Isha delved into noticing small details on how they felt, a warm feeling started to show up, starting to suck him in a bit.
"Hihihi~ Hi Isha. Didn't expect to see you here so soon~" Isha heard Felix's voice. It was a little high pitched, as though he were speaking to a small animal or child. "And right after you sealed me too~" Isha felt a little conflicted on how to react. "What brings you back all of a sudden~"
"I… I need to control you." Isha replied. He wasn't sure if he was speaking mentally, or openly, however. "I need to control the demon side of me."
"The demon side…." Felix seemed to trail a bit. "Of you?" The tone of his voice suddenly became lower. "Kihihihi." His giggle returned his voice to the higher pitch. "You still don't know… How…" He paused for a moment, as though he couldn't remember the right word. "Adorable." He finished, his voice hitting the lower tone.
"Felix… Please, I need to control these powers." Isha stood his ground. A visual of Felix soon appeared. The demon wearing his horns and tail, hair completely white. However he was in a black cloak, matching his tail.
"Felix? You know… My name now… isn't that just…" He laughed a bit. "Wonderful." The word dragged out a bit more than it needed, his voice changing to a lower tone as he spoke it. "Poor little… pitiful Isha… hihihi~ How did those demons… taste…? I personally prefer… the flesh of young woman…. But can't be… hehe… picky~"
Isha furrowed his brow at Felix as he sauntered over.
"Felix. I don't have the time to mess around." Isha stated, getting frustrated.
"Mess around? MEss… Around? Hehe… hehehehe…. I love making messes…" He kept giggling as he watched Isha grew more upset. "Kihihihi… It's cute you think… you're people…" He giggled again as Isha got a bit confused. "Why worry about… power anyways… live a good dream… right~" Felix giggled furthermore to himself.
"Because." Isha growled. "I need to protect Rose and May." He hissed back.
"Protect~? Protect~? Kihihihihi. Might as well just eat her now~ After all, none of us… will last long." Felix trailed off a bit, thinking to himself almost.
"I have no clue what you mean, but I don't really care." Isha replied, narrowing his eyes.
"Oh, you do…. You do know~ We Know~ You just won't… let yourself realize~ But tsk tsk, the kool-aid has been… drunk~" Felix cackled again. Isha felt his anger boil in him.
"Felix. If you won't give it to me, I will take it from you." Isha growled at him. Felix smiled with glee, his fangs showing.
"Kihihihihi" He giggled aloud, his eyes closing for a moment before seriousness warped his face in an instant. "Get strength by yourself… before you suck up others… You have gained enough to manifest the tail and horns. Just… learn the power and try to… control it." Felix stared up at the ceiling of the warehouse for a moment.
He stared almost longingly; the feeling of eeriness washed with a refreshing wave of pity. It was silent for a moment before Felix looked back at Isha.
"Just worry… on living… Don't get to hungry… The cat notices when the mouse gets too.. Greedy…" And with that Felix started to fade away, back into Isha's mind as he came back to the full real world.
Rei was staring at him as though perplexed, carefully studying him. His tail and horns had disappeared now, as Isha glanced around the still bloodstained surroundings.
"You say some.. rather peculiar things. Who's this... Felix?" Rei asked, narrowing her eyes as she tilted her head. Isha narrowed his back.
"It's nothing. Ask the old man if you must know." He replied, standing up. He tested whether or not he could bring out his tail and horns. Giving it thought, they appeared, Isha feeling warmth spread through his body. Rei let out an audible sigh, closing the cultist book.
"At least you gained control then. As you may have noticed, when you have you're demon appendages out you have more access to your power. However, you can easily loose yourself if you're not careful. Especially if you're possessed." She stood up, rubbing her forehead.
"Anyways, let's get back to the café, Charles is more than likely awaiting us." Rei stated, walking towards the exit. Isha reverted his tail and horns, fixing his scarf and blood stained jacket, following along.
"Won't uh… people be concerned about the blood?" Isha asked Rei, who stopped in her tracks with her eyes widened a bit.
"I completely forgot. I suppose you're not useless after all, I don't feel like being arrested again…" She trailed off, grimacing a bit. She then pulled out her bible and opened it.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord our Father." Rei's voice became sweeter as she closed her eyes, gently speaking out. Isha narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool."
As she proceeded to softly speak, Isha felt unpleasant as images of Father Arkoida went through his mind. But at the same time, a gentle warmth caressed his body, making the thoughts vanish.
Before he knew it, his clothes and body had been cleansed, the blood no where to be found. Rei opened her eyes and exhaled softly, almost euphorically as she softly smiled.
"So… You just did God magic?" Isha asked. To this Rei's smile dropped into a scowl and she slapped him on the back of head.
"I will beat the heresy out of you!" She growled at him, having ruined her pleasant moment. "Let's get moving." She growled at him, beginning her walk. "God magic... I can't even." Isha smirked a bit as he heard her mumbling, following after Rei as they left the warehouse.
