I live in California, which of course is in the United States. The protesting is pretty bad... no that's wrong. The protesting out here is peaceful. The riots are ridiculous. A power poll was damaged because of the rioting and we lost electricity. So I haven't been able to to access to iPad. There's a crew-few here so things are complicated.
I want to make something clear. I am not against these protests no matter what. Silence and complacency never bring change. Unarmed Americans are being killed just because they could be killed. It's a travesty and something needs to be done no matter what.
It needs to be said that the protests are peaceful but there are people taking advantage of the gatherings and are rioting in the streets. They are destroying stuff, stealing stuff, and the only thing that they are accomplishing is feeding their own greed and taking attention away from what's really important.
It's not all bad though. people from all races are gathering together, and in that unity they're saying with one voice THATS ENOUGH! It's pretty amazing... you know I went to a protest and it wasn't just the black community there were Asians and the Amish and Europeans and Native Americans all gathered together with one purpose it was incredible so.... no it's not all bad.
So anyways that's all I have to say about that, and of course I need to apologize for the missing chapters. I'm told I should have Electricity up again tomorrow sometime? So hopefully I can get back on track. I will definitely keep you guys updated, and as ever thank you so much for reading my story. Thank you so much for your support. I hope everyone is safe and hunker down and has everything that they need. I hope that your families are safe and healthy, and I hope that they stay that way and if you were one of those unfortunate individuals where you or a loved one has been touched by this virus and then I want you to know that you were in my prayers, you are in my thoughts, and I wish the absolute best for you. I hope that you are comforted by the knowledge that you were absolutely not alone, none of us are alone.
We are all united in our struggle to survive this. So be blessed, and be safe and be healthy.
