There was still a horde left on Earth, yet closing the portal as my first priority. If the number of goblins further increased, it would lead to the end of the population. Though most goblins are weak, they cover up for their weakness by fighting in a pack. However, dealing with a batch of goblins is still comparatively easier than dealing with a hobgoblin. Nonetheless, the situation is far worse with a goblin champion. A goblin champion was a rare breed of goblins far stronger than a hobgoblin, and the only breed of goblins to potentially match a level 3 hero.
If by any chance I encountered more than one of it's species, I would die. But the problem didn't even begin there. The leader of a goblin horde was a rarer species called a goblin king. The goblin king existed in each and every goblin portal and ordered the goblins around. Its high WIS could create battle formations, create walls, build defensive barriers, and at times, they even abandoned their kingdom just to survive. In some instances, a goblin king built up strategies to kill its opponents by sacrificing its soldiers. For such a ruthless king to lead a pack goblins, almost always meant death for any level 2 hero on a solo mission.
Even though I was classified as a Demigod, I couldn't feel the power flowing through my veins, I felt like my level of strength was the same of what it was in the beta realm. Nonetheless, if I could manage to increase my MP in a short time, I could gain my Godhood back. MP usually gradually reaches back to maximum and takes days to recover. In my case, my MP was in the thousands, and even though I didn't know how I had obtained it, what stood as a greater problem was that I didn't know how to use it well. My main goal now was to try and achieve the state of Godhood. I sure as hell couldn't rely on my MP, but I could indirectly use it to achieve Godhood.
To check my status before murdering goblins in large numbers, I spoke, "Status open."
A blue screen opened up in front of me.

"Impossible!"
To recover over 1/10th of my mana in seconds... I could be considered an immortal. Something tells me that all of these buffs are due to an outside source, but this power could be the one vested in my newly unlocked potential.
While thinking of all of this, a goblin came rushing towards me with a knife. The darkness of the cave led to my momentary hesitation, but killing a goblin was still just as easy as ever. I was now inside a cave, home to the goblin hoard. Using my sword was now deemed useless, as the cave walls were two short to allow a decisive strike. I could pierce through their flesh by thrusting my sword, but without a rapier, the damage would be minimum. Thus the only option now, was to fight barehanded.
The goblin cave had its benefits as well. Since I was present in a cave, it was easier to kill goblins. Instead of appearing in a large number, they could only appear in a small groups of two or three. The layout of the cave however, was designed to have multiple passageways. Therefore, I could easily be surrounded. Nonetheless, two to three more goblins didn't make much of a difference to begin with.
I began advancing at a steady pace. I kept my guard on and payed attention to each and every corner. A second goblin rushed towards me. While yelling its battle cry, it tried to harm my knee, and failed miserably due to my armour. I grabbed it by the head and continually bashed its head till it died.
Due to the goblin's battle cry, more goblins had made their way to me. Two more goblins rushed to try and stab me in the ankle. I assume they were trained to attack the opponents legs. While they were busy covering up the distance, I bent down and grabbed them by their heads. I bashed their skulls with one another before they could stab my hand with their daggers.
Before I progressed further, I took their daggers in my hand. With a greater arm length and a dagger in my hand, I could now kill goblins by merely swinging my hand. Nonetheless, I couldn't swing enough due to the short cave.
Now, I was met with an intersection, I had already spent to much time advancing all the way here, however, I knew that from this moment on, things were going to get much worse. I hadn't brought over potions from the beta realm which would mean that all the damage I would face here, would be permanent.
Out of the three pathways, two of them were on my sides, meanwhile, one of them continued the way further. I progressed by moving into the one that was in front of me. Potentially, if the goblins had noticed my presence in the other two passages, they would have followed me from behind to attack when I would not be on guard. And that's exactly what had happened. However what they hadn't noticed was my adamantium plated armour.
As soon as I heard their daggers hit my armour, I looked back and smiled. I noticed 10 goblins now standing in front of me. Three of them panicked and attempted to stab my chest without knowing that I wore armour on my legs. Before they even had the opportunity to realise I was wearing a full body armour, I slit their limbs in one stroke. After swinging the dagger in my left hand, I swung the one in my right hand to decapitate their heads.
Goblins were the size of young children around the age of ten. Their power level was estimated to be of the same strength. The other goblins looked scared, but before they could manage to attack, I slit their throats in succession.
I had killed a small horde of goblins, yet I still had to find my way to the goblin king. Before continuing my killing spree, I decided to check my status.
"Status open."
