Defining things undefined, finding ways to exalt the grandeur found within nothingness.
"The Void calls." A man in a black suit, walking in the streets of Musah said in the stillness of the night.
The notes sent by Levine to Ziel via Viber seems to hold such a 'thing' and whatever that was… it needs more meaning. On how we see things, there were different 'readings' of some sort, we dwell on it as each day passes. We would choose whether to forget those 'things', these things were in fact, equivalent to the memories harbored by the individual. Finding 'connections' on these sorts of ideas were hard to ponder.
'A man stands there too, staring into space, wriggling his hands in torment.' And in some of its words, these were not mine either. A man in a black suit spoke.
"Let's start with Levine."
Levine was a 5'6 man with but of course, had Asian features as well. He was yellow-skinned but with a mix of light brown. And has a normal work in the BPO community as well, a support perhaps. He was very competitive in his younger years but began to view the world differently; he was 27 and a bit younger than Ziel. Ever since he was young he views the system of the world differently.
"Those fools are on 'it' again." Levine said with a harsh look towards people in his office near Glouriettah, mainly Mall/Building continent. For whatever reasons, he hates them and continued, "Like the leeches you are!"
A few hours had passed and he was going to log-out and someone called him.
"Levine!"
As ridiculous at it maybe, he was called by one of his colleagues and she was Janine. A rather petite beauty at Levine's eyes as he was eyeing on her on the first day of their training period. It was to rather say that Levine had his own 'standards' per se. Janine was talking to Dianne as she saw Levine's eyes peering into her. Levine was interested in her but he was chained to another 'world' and it would be barely his fantasy that Janine has feelings for her too.
"Are you going home early?" Janine cheerfully said.
"What do you mean? It is morning and considering the shift that we have, I'm rather sleepy."
"Well, would you like to join our colleagues getting some of the requirements to proceed on our regularization?" Yes and by that too, Levine and his other colleagues don't have police or NBI clearance.
"I might as well sleep, anyways, thank you for inviting me. I appreciate it."
'I might be a lie but I won't sleep anytime soon, because of these 'voices' inside my head.' Ziel thought so. 1432 San Diego, Salamanca Street—that was his address next to
Ziel (where he used to live at 1431 C of the apartment) and Alvz in Aljesiraz where he resides.
Levine went home and did his usual daily task of playing his mobile games as he tried to sleep. Well, you see, Levine usually dreams of something strange and by that, type of thing was represented by various shadows. Mainly these considered 'shadows' were part of his unconsciousness roaring to go wild as it craved chaos.
"I can't sleep."
And suddenly, a voice in his mind projected and said, 'You do like her right? You are willing to do some actions, aren't you? Then proceed.'
"What the f*ck."
"Ma, are you saying something?" as Levine said. He thought he heard his mother talking but it wasn't and Levine rested for the duration of his day. True to himself he did feel happy when he was near Janine or when they talked about themselves and the goals in their lives. However, destiny had a different plan for them. Another day passed and the next day came, as Levine went to work excited to see Janine. One of his days that he felt that love was visiting him for the next time around, Levine walked towards Janine's workstation and handed him doodles that looked like her.
"What is this? It doesn't look like me."
"But it does! Look!"
"Whatever, Levine."
Levine and Janine laughed their hearts out and the usual time in the office ran fast. They were asked to answer some surveys as directed by their Team Leader.
"What is this 'Securing our Future' survey?"
"Do you mean us?"
"Hahahahahaha!"
Eventually, the two of them dated and Janine even went to his house when Levine was sick. Levine was touched by this act and regretted that he wasn't able to accompany Janine to a public transport vehicle.
June 1, 2014 was their monthsary and it was filled with both the taste of joy and sorrow. Relationships weren't as perfect like those fairy tales, hardships will soon follow sooner or later.
"Well, are you happy?" Asked Janine as Levine replied, "I do not know."
Where 'I do not know' means a lot in Levine's mind.
'Where is the happiness in this?'
'Why are we fighting?'
'I want to get this over with.'
Then Levine shouted at Janine, "To hell with you!" The exchange of words was highly destructive as chaos sets them apart. Levine has an affair with her ex and Janine found it out and it critically broke her. Janine and Levine tried to fix their relationship once as they had a recent break-up last 2016.
Levine thought that he was making it up to Janine but efforts were so blindly recognized as the sin outweighs the good deed done in their relationship and was it almost true upon this cruel world? People define you for your sins and the good deeds untold were not even recognized until someone had seen it or rather, told it to some people or an individual that was willing to listen for a moment of time.
"You were only making up for your sin, Levine!
"And look at you, f*ck you!"
"Well f*ck you too!"
As Levine and Janine shouted at their harsh predicament and their frustrations at bay, Levine threw his smartphone but not directly at Janine for Levine was focussed on the wall at the back of Janine.
'He tried to hurt me.' Janine thought so and it was planted in her mind, the thought of replacing Levine with which Levine had a faint aura of it happening as it was ignored long ago.
~Thud.
Upon the impact of the smartphone heard from the outside of Janine's Room, as they were on Janine's house in Batungaz, one of the provinces in Peripinzu that was peaceful and had some beaches lying near the vicinity or a couple of rides and walks while at it. Suddenly, Janine's father went upstairs and opened the door.
~Screech.
Janine's Father checked both of them as Levine and Janine were faking their sleep, the two went and settled their disputes in an alarming yet fast way that was found funny by both of them in their minds. Levine went silent all the time as he went asleep, keeping a distance from Janine as she was lonely and sad when the two of them had their fight.
'I want to tell her that I am sorry.'
'It was best to keep a distance because she was angry.'
Levine had these thoughts to himself but he did the exact wrong thing that Janine wanted him to do. It was July 14th of 2019 and things moved so fast that it was out of Levine's expectation. 5 in the morning and they were both awake as Janine noticed Levine apart from her.
"You are rude Levine and you didn't hug me last night." Janine said as she had a sad expression from her face. Levine did not even tell her how sorry he was that day as he began to hug and kiss Janine. Levine's lips tasted Janine's as they caressed each other's body at 5:15 in the morning as they went downstairs to prepare for their departure to Mehnilah.
"Oh, so you wanted it." Janine seducingly said to Levine.
As if chaining her down, Levine held Janine's body to have a closer look as he tasted Janine's saliva with his mouth. During the constriction of time at them, they made it worth a while working themselves up in a fast exchange of blows as Levine thrust Janine's life essence rapidly. 6 of the morning came and they went downstairs to eat breakfast as Janine prepared a coffee for Levine which gave him a peace of mind as to have hope for a secured future with her to push his efforts to make Janine happy. Is there such happiness? How was happiness being defined? To make sure of it—varies from person to person and almost as replaceable if it meant for that individual. Levine and Janine had a usual routine of going back home to Janine's house every weekend as it was their days off with their respective field of work.
Levine just remembered about their training period where he was working with Janine about putting an extra mile to what needs to be done even if it was not recognized which was only suitable for people at the top, remaining obstructed as a wall for those who do not have power. It was like one of those ranked games in MOBA in that there was always a wall that would stop you from attaining a certain level, losing plenty of times to achieve victory. Victory wasn't always grasped and at the thought of it remains difficult because of the lack of skill, resources, and power as teaming up with those who had power would be easy if one's destination was known.
Clinging to power easily dismantles the system where the powerless remain at the lowest rank.
Hope was always next to despair as the bonds may get broken sooner or later in such a span of time and it was surprising.
