Haze called an Uber to go towards Paddington as he looked down at the map on his phone.
They had 60 hours unlike last time, and there was only one [ghost controller] in Australia according to the map in the F rank. Mace was in the middle of the car, and had her
The taxi driver could only see Rail as she stared out the window with contempt.
"Ugh, we can't buy any of these houses... They are too small," Rail said as the taxi driver looked back at her like she was crazy. He shook his head and fixed his red hat as he turned down the street to their destination.
"Little girl. This area is full of night clubs. Why are you going here?"
"Just tell him that you're here to meet your father!"
"I work here at night." Rail replied as she opened the car door, "Thanks, this is fine."
"Watch it! Don't break the car door!" the man swerved away from the curb before he looked back and saw that Rail was gone. She teleported in front of a small building with a red tent outside of it.
"Well, I figured he'd pick somewhere abandoned," Rail took a deep breath and pointed at the door, "Just a fair warning. Ghost Controllers are a lot less friendly than angels and demons. The company behind them usually chooses convicts."
"Why?" Haze asked as he walked up to the front door, "Why would it matter?"
"They got to do bad things to get ghosts. Ghosts only exist for an hour after a person dies," Zack said as he walked up to the door and knocked on it, "Ghost Controllers need certain types of bodies at certain times."
"Why are you so energetic and why are you knocking?" Haze pulled Zack by the arm as the
"He was waiting for a delivery...." Zack said as he pointed at a letter on the door, "His package is right there, so I figured we could give it to him."
"Hello! Who is it?!"A deep voice came through the intercom. "Is that my package? Why did you bring a crew."
"You won an award," Rail said as she smiled at the camera, "Come down and get it and you won't regret it!"
"Yeah, I'm coming. I'll bring my assistants with me," The voice cut off as Haze took the
"Hi, it was nice being in your pocket. Very warm," Waxing said as Haze casually put on the gloves and took his sword out from the back of his pants. "What are we doing? I couldn't hear in there."
"We're surprising a guest," Rail said as she took in a deep breath, "A
"You know what's weird? Commercials," Zack said as he put his hands in his pocket, "They don't have them on computer, but people still watch the old fashioned way..."
"Just foc--"
Haze smiled as the door opened and a women with a long sleeve jacket came to the door wearing a nurses cap.
"Sorry, he couldn't come to the door. He's s sleeping... Come in."
"Are you okay?" Haze said as he looked down at the cuts on her legs. "Did something happen to you?"
"You know, you're sweet... Ask something like that again, and I won't let you in," The girl opened the door as Zack walked in first. He walked into the room and saw what looked like a fake classroom without any students.
The windows were painted red, but the stench of blood was all over.
"Still want to come in?" The girl turned round and pulled ou ta knife. "I don't mind helping you leave."
"Haze, you handle this one," Zack yawned and passed him his sword, "If i attack her, she'll die instantly."
"I'm rooting for you, Haze," Waxing's vocie came out of the gloves before the blonde short haired nurse lunged forward with her knife.
"You... you can't make me fight her!" Haze turned to teh side and instinctively dodged the knife before he thrust his hand forward to grab her arm. He reached her arm and slightly twisted before the knife spun out of her hand and she fell to the floor on her knees. Her arm was behind her back as she attempted to scream.
"I covered her mouth," Rail said as Haze grabbed her other arm and put it behind her back. "She's not a ghost... She must be possessed..."
"Great, he can possess people too!" Haze complained as he turned to his side and saw hundreds of shadows slowly coming towards him. "Wait, what the hell is that!"
"Those are ghosts," Zack said as he spun the sword in his hand, "Made out of energy and completely a tangible and annoying. I'd rather be watching a show..."
"Up above!" Mace pointed up as the vent was kicked out and a large man jumped towards Haze. Zack sighed and slashed upwards with the back of his blade. The fat man burst into the wall as the shadows got within inches of Haze's face."
Zack sighed and spun backwards and slashed at the wall and cut into the first shadow. A scream could be heard coming out of the wall before a translucent figure appeared . It was a small girl with a cookie's box around her neck that had somehow been sliced by Zack's sword.
"Thanks for not buying my cookies..." The girl collapsed as Zack sighed and slashed at another shadow.
A business man appeared next and then a delivery man as he cut through the shadows and caused the figures to appear.
"What... what is he doing?"
"He's hitting them where he knows he can," Rail said as she watched Zack run down the wall and get chased by dozens of shadows, "Anyways, this is just a distraction. That Ghost Controller knows he's vulnerable. Expect him to try and escape,"
"He's right there," Mace pointed at the door as a small boy charged out the building whit a backpack.
"Give me your hand, Haze," Rail said as she snapped her fingers as a second later, "You aren't going anywhere."
Rail appeared right in front of the Ghost Controller as he stepped back and fell on the floor. His backpack burst open and a human heart fell out fell onto the grass.
"Shit, I needed that! Get away from me punk!"
"Haze, he's weak... You're much stronger... Pick him up..."
"Can't you just stare at him?"
"We need his disk!" Rail said as she snapped and appeared behind him. She kicked him in the back and sent him falling onto his knees. Haze sighed and picked up the human heart and thrust it right into the boy's face.
It burst into bits as the boy screamed and fell onto the floor.
"Damn it! You hit me with a heart?"
"Give me your disk!" Haze picked him up with one arm and looked at his bulging arms. "When... when did I get so strong?"
"Cover his mouth," Rail sighed as she snapped and appeared on Haze's shoulder with her legs hanging over his head. "Don't let him talk too much... He might call the shadows over."
"I'm done," Haze came out and yawned, "Should I cut him too?"
"Fine, my disk is in the bag! Just know I had no choice! I had to do missions just like you..."
"Hae... sorry, but I'm knocking him out," Rail said as she angrily pulled back her fist and swung fiercely forward. She hit him square in the jaw before he burst out of Haze's arm and rolled onto the floor. "The little bastard killed a little girl, and pretends he couldn't have chosen an older man!"
