Chapter 28 - Angel Load

Haze didn't like the idea of having to help [Joke Land], and was pacing back and fourth an hour after arriving back in his house.

"Damn it... What happens if we don't help her, and what happens if we do?"

"We don't help her," Rail said as she crossed her arms, and pointed at the computer, "We don't help her until we're one rank above her. Looks like it's time you play and see if you can win ten in a row."

"She's right, if you lose one match, we can't help her." Zack said as he tossed popcorn in his mouth, "All of her gods were in the D+ rank. She lived a short, but beautiful life."

"Ugh, okay, I'll focus on for now..." Haze opened up before he saw Calli walking over to him with a laptop. She was wearing a a red school girl's skirt with a knotted white shirt and a black bra. "Ugh, what is it Calli?"

"I wanted to show you how to improve me. I'm useful I promise..."

"She's right, you should check out after you earn some ." Rail pointed at Haze's lap as she smiled and pushed Calli towards him. "you can sit on his lap. Just don't get him too excited during your presentation."

"I'll keep this quick," Calli blushed and loaded on her computer. A woman with large white wings and a halo on her head was in the background when four options came up. Two of the options were immediately greyed out, the and tab.

"This program works a little differently now that you hacked it... Am I doing a good job teaching."

"You should've worn a black pleaded skirt." Zack said as he turned on Burn that Witch, "You'd look more like my favorite character from Burn that Witch."

"Zack, can you go get Lapis and tell her to come here?" Haze sighed and pointed at the door. He hadn't seen Lapis and Port since he got home. "Please, remember I taught you how to pause it."

Zack nodded his head and got up with the remote in hand. He turned on the downstairs televsion as Haze signed and took over on . There was an window and a window.

"So, the link window right here," Calli leaned in with a smile and blush on her face, "The window allows you to run both and . "Do you have any questions?"

"It's because-because they want to make it complicated for you to use new software." Rail started playing with Calli's hair as she twisted it around her finger. "The good news is if you use the function in it can be applied to all your gods."

"I get it..." Haze closed the computer and gently moved his hand past Calli's leg as he looked down at her pale skin. "I... I appreciate it Calli... You feel closer to me yet?"

"Can I sit here for a few minutes?" Calli blushed as Haze opened , "My average temperature is rather hot compared to you, however, it should feel good to touch my skin."

"She's an angel, so her body is warmer than a normal human." Rail yawned and looked at the bed, "Ugh, I'll go check downstairs again... where the hell is Zack?"

"I have bad news. They went to the store because we ran out of food," Zack turned on the television and crossed his legs, "Maybe when you upgrade me I'll be more bold and leave your side..."

"I'm starting combat mode! Do whatever you have to do to be ready..."

"I'm ready," Zack sat down and started watching television, "I'm learning from Burn that Witch,"
