It was a shock to Harry when he wanted to share the news of his woman's pregnancy and was told that Laura was pregnant as well.
He stared at his brother's excited face and felt that all hope was lost. He had hurried up the family's process, to make sure that Smith wouldn't end up adopting a child, but they actually got their own legitimate child.
How could this be?

*Back at the hospital*
"I forgot to pray for aunty." Olivia said and stopped in her tracks.
"Miss Smith, you can do that the next time you come pay her a visit." Her bodyguard said, but Olivia shook her head.
"I will be back, please wait for a while." Without waiting for his reply, Olivia sprinted back to the ward.

Meanwhile.
"Look at her. She was growing up so well and I have a limited time to live. All our efforts would be in vain.
She would take over Smith's corporation and our child would always be second to her." Alicia's mother spoke up, while Olivia who was about to pull the curtain, couldn't help but stop in her tracks.
She wondered what the woman was talking about. Did she do something wrong?
But she got the shock of her life, when Harry spoke.
"I won't let that happen. She won't live to take everything away. It will go as we planned.
And you will be there to claim the position of the president's wife, so stop talking about dying." Harry replied, with confidence.
Olivia covered her mouth with both hands and began walking backwards, not making a sound.
She still managed to hear Alicia's mother reply to Harry that he better make sure that he killed her, before they moved to the sickness conversation.
She was so smart that she knew telling her parents would ruin the relationship between them, so she kept it to herself, but never visited the hospital till Alicia's mother died.
Her parents had no idea what happened, but they respected her wishes.
Just as expected, the attempt on her life started a year after Harry's wife died.
It started with kids of her age suddenly trying to knock her down with their bicycles.
When they were caught, the scared children would claim that someone gave them money to do it and even tender the money to Olivia's guard.
Due to that, they increased her guards, making it two, because they did see a hooded man talking to the kids, from the CCTV.
Just like that, they have to be weary of kids of her age, getting near her.
Surprisingly, Olivia doesn't look too affected. She would only look at her parents like a barbie doll and when they are done checking her for wounds and asking if she was feeling hurt, she would tell them that she's fine.
The attempt on her life kept getting more and more dangerous as she growed, while her parents began preparing her for self defense.
They wouldn't have gone too far, to the stage of using armory, if Olivia hadn't appeared to like the training and craving to learn more.
She never breathes a word to them, regarding what she heard and just kept doing as she was told, while proving to everyone that she was the heiress of Smith's enterprise.
She showed Harry that his daughter would always be behind her. Alicia would have been an innocent cousin with bad parents, if she hadn't caught her smirking at a corner, during one of the attempts on her life.
Aside from that, she had a group of friends that threw shades at her. They mocked her and claimed that she couldn't survive a day without her dogs keeping watch over her.
Oh! Do you think that they got away with such insults?
Of course not.
Olivia would tell them the dark tale of their lives and make them retreated.
Her reply would hit them hard and made passersby see Olivia as a very rude girl for going so far and even including the girl's family problems.
She used to care at first, but soon she grows to not give a damn about what people think of her and just speak her mind.
It becomes a habit and she likes it. She managed to put fake people in their place and banned Alicia from her fake visit to her parents' mansion.
People claimed she was so spoiled and she proved them right. She was indeed spoilt.
If they can't deal with it, they should vanish from her line of sight.
She stopped caring since she was just a ten year old girl.

***Back at the present****
Tears streamed down from Emma's eyes. She slowly opened her eyes and felt her body shivered, as she remained on the floor, all night.
The pain was so unbearable, that she felt like her whole being was splitted into different halves, until she gave in to the darkness.
It was better now, but it's morning already. She was unconscious all night and wasn't able to call Max as she planned.
"Welcome back, Emma William. I helped you send a text message to your parents, that you don't want to be disturbed." Honey said, but Emma doesn't seem to care about all that.
She looked up at the cute fluffy bunny. "Can I hold you?" She asked, while her tears kept falling.
Honey blinked and looked around. "Me?" She asked.
Emma nodded her head.
"Boohoo! Host has lost her mind." Honey floated to the edge of the bed and hid her body, while poking her head out.
"No, I'm fine. I'm used to having Nemo around, when I'm feeling this way." Emma said seriously.
Her expression sank deeper, after seeing the bunny vanished, but she suddenly appeared in her arms.
"One minute." Honey said, while Emma makes good use of it.
She caressed her fur and let out a long breath. "That girl got it rough than I do." Emma admitted.
She felt very bad for Olivia.
At least she was suffering to feed her family, but this girl's situation was worse. For a young girl to grow up, knowing that someone was after her life.
And that person happened to be her uncle. It must have traumatized her.
