World A: (Olivia Smith's world)
Immediately Emma and Olivia's parents stepped into the main mansion, where maids in green and white matrix uniforms were everywhere, doing various chores, Emma was engulfed in a hug.
She could feel the unsettlement in the warmth of Olivia's mom's hug. The woman was scared.
The memories of how the couple had to plead with Olivia after each attack, popped up.
When Olivia returned home with blood stains from killing her assassin, or from her wound, the couple would break down.
They would try to plead with her, claiming she was going through all that, because they are not capable enough, but Olivia would run past them and headed to her room.
She would lock herself in her room for two days, ignoring their constant knocking on her door, same as their phone calls.
She would neither eat, sleep nor bath. She wouldn't cry either, or look affected.
She would play mobile games, looked outside the window, or stepped into her balcony to grant peace to her ears, from her parents' pleading.
The weirdest part was how she freshened up and came outside the room after two days and looked like the past event never occurred.
She would become the spoilt princess again and whined at every little thing. When the couple tries to bring up the issue, she would talk about it like she had fun killing those people.
She would make it seem like it's no big deal.
The couples were worried at first, but Olivia seems fine. She never zoned out in front of them or acted weird.
"Baby I'm so sorry about this. I promise that this will come to an end soon. We have people working on it." Olivia's mom pleaded.
President Smith also hugged her from behind, seeing that she didn't push Laura away.
Emma felt her heart broke for them. At this rate, she didn't care about going out of character, she wrapped her arms around the sobbing woman and felt herself tearing up.
Why was she so affected though?
She was feeling this way, because Olivia died.
Those two really love their daughter. They were thinking they could protect her, but she died at the end.
They were influential people in the country, but they were nothing more than a scared rabbit in front of their daughter. She means a lot to them.
For once, Emma understands why Olivia was spoiled. They wanted to give the world. They felt like they owed her too much and yes! They did.
Emma knew Olivia was wrong with her overbearing behaviors, but it could be related to how she didn't get to experience.
She was deprived of experiencing the world. No friends to share things with. Her parents had to work, but they still created time for her.
But she has passed the stage where she would be tagging around them all the time. She's an adult, but wasn't allowed to grow.
Everyone who tried to get close to her, would get their lives and background probbed, because they didn't want someone being a threat to her.
People stayed away and just envied her life, from afar. They thought she had the world, but the girl wasn't happy.
Her attitude was like a shield, to appear normal to people, because she's a strong girl, but it wasn't easy for her.
The shield became a part of her and she became the girl that only found her parents as the only beings that's important. Every other person means nothing to her.
Emma took a deep breath and rubbed Laura's back, while reaching her other hand to hold president Smith. "It's fine." She assured them.
The workers had evacuated the premises, without waiting for someone to instruct them to do so.
You might be wondering why they hadn't killed Harry and put an end to all these.
The two had no valid evidence that Harry was doing this, but couldn't think of any other person, because Harry wanted the corporation as his own.
To make the matter worse, they still meet at social gatherings and get to hear him say his greeting to them, like a family would do.
They never let Olivia know about their suspicion, because it might traumatize her to learn about a family member coming after her life.
Olivia believed the attack was from people that wanted to use her to get to her parents.
President did not only have to plead with his daughter, he had to go on his knees and beg his wife, who threatened to run away with Olivia, if he didn't put an end to this live threat on their daughter.
The good part was how Olivia naturally hated Harry. She doesn't mingle with him, based on how the man throws shades at her, each time they meet.
He teased her about being a spoilt princess and all, in front of people. The man was shameless. And to top it, his daughter was worse.
The father and daughter duo, always try to make her look bad, wherever they meet. They put their words in a way that Olivia wouldn't be able to counter, because they weren't wrong.
They were just exaggerating things, which made everything they said half right.
But when has Olivia ever cared about such?
She would be the one to ask her parents not to interfere and put the father and daughter duo in their place with her toxic tongue.
At the end, she would look as dashing as ever, while the duo would leave the event with their nose flaring and veins nearly popping out of their reddened faces.
This of cause, made Harry gave her the name 'bastard'
Even though the man made people see that Olivia wasn't competent to be the heiress of the corporation, he still got his face slapped with toxic words, in the process.
