Chapter 30 - Make it stop!

Emma felt fear.

She felt restless.

She stood up and started pacing back and forth around the room.

It was so wide, that she felt like a needle, being thrown in an ocean.

She would call Max, tonight.

What would she say? What would be Max's response to her?

She really wished that Honey would provide her with an answer, but not at all. The system remained silent, but her existence made her feel like she wasn't alone.

Her initial thought was that she was going to get the task done, quickly.

Now, there's a hindrance. There's a threat. There's an enemy that's shameless and extra bold to tackle her, which means Olivia's parents' influence wouldn't help.

The pressure made her feel tired again. She was already getting hot headed a few minutes ago, but now she wanted to go home.

She was scared of losing to Alicia, because Max dislike Olivia.

Her thoughts were jarring. She felt so confused.

This is going to be hard. So hard and she felt less confident, based on how Max viewed her as a spoilt girl.

This would have been easy, if she could act like herself and just begged like she used to.

But that weak personality was one of the traits that the system wanted her to work on, from this second chance.

That was why Honey was hinting her to make use of Olivia's confidence in a positive way.

A thought popped up, after a few minutes of being lost. Emma felt like she wanted to single handedly build a bamboo house, but doesn't have enough experience and equipment.

Her head started moving like a ticking clock. She forced herself to be weak and thought she could be strong in this world, but it seems that it has become a part of her.

Right now, her heart is racing wildly and refuses to calm. If Max fell in love with Alicia, she's not brave enough to come in between someone's relationship.

She finds it appropriate. It doesn't matter if Alicia is a friend or foe.

Before she knew it, her face had paled and her breathing getting harsh. She's so scared right now.

Everything is more complicated than she thought.

"Host, calm down. You will pass out in less than 5 minutes 20 seconds if you don't relax your mind right now." Honey spoke up.

"How...how can….I...I." Emma felt herself going dizzy immediately. She has pushed too hard.

She finally took Honey's words seriously. She might really pass out at this rate.

She slowly sat down on the marble floor and hugged her thighs to her chest. This was the sort of moment that she needs her cat the most.

Running her fingers all over his soft fur and feeling the warmth from him, was magic.

It calms her anxiety, but he's not here.

If only he could come with her, everything would be bearable.

Honey went silent on her, but Nemo was always there. It was as if he understands what she's going through.

He just showed up whenever she needed him the most. She felt the urge to ask honey if she can help her get her cat here.

She felt like she was going insane.

But this same cat was like her mother's other half. He was the only being, Caroline gets to talk to, whenever her children weren't at home.

"One minutes, 30 seconds and you will pass out." Honey said, as Emma was now looking so pale.

"What happens if I didn't manage to get him?" Emma asked.

Honey would have told her that she would die for real, but knew that wasn't the answer her condition could take.

"You have the option of using the quick time reverse system. As long as it doesn't involve waking the dead, you can reverse anything, including accidents, mistakes and many more." Honey said and a bulb seemed to lit up in Emma's head.

If that was the case, it means she can reverse Alicia's attempt that made Max fall for her.

She felt herself calming down slowly. That's it! She has an advantage, but still has to get into action quickly.

"Can I access all of Olivia's memories at once? I don't feel so good, with the way things are giving me shocks." Emma said.

She still hasn't gotten over the shock from this extra wide room, before Alicia dropped another tension on her.

If she faces two more shocks, of this same similarities, she might really pass out. She felt like it would be better for her to face everything at once.

"It's possible, but it would hurt so much." Honey warned.

Emma shook her head in denial. What could hurt more than her life. She wanted it.

"I can handle it. It's better than getting the pop ups that made me feel more idiotic than I already am." Emma said bluntly.

"Host, you shouldn't use such terms to address yourself." Honey advice.

"I'm just….. so frustrated." Emma replied.

"Are you sure that you're up for this?" Honey asked.

"Come out. I need to see that someone is here." Emma said in a broken tone.

She gasped, as she felt like her soul left her body, but returned immediately.

The cute bunny materialized out of thin air, right in front of her.

"I'm ready." Emma said, after staring at Honey.

Emma felt a soft pain enveloping her brain cells. It started slowly, making her crave distraction.

"Do you miss Darling?" She asked the Honey.

"We've been waiting for this, all our lives. We are happy that we get our own host." Honey replied.

"Ha!" Emma exclaimed, feeling like there are thousand bells ringing in her head.

She started seeing the memories of when Olivia was still young. How the little girl was so sweet.

She was just like any normal kids, because she raised her siblings. She watched them grow.

The more she sees more, the more her head feels like it's exploding.

Emma's body curled on the floor, while tears poured from her eyes.

"Make it stop!" She screamed.

"Haaa!!!! MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE!" She wailed in agony.
