Chapter 37 - Used Wand

"Oh no really, I just finished...." The scrawny Potter replied, his shy nature active.

"Oh, then, what's your name little boy? I recall you've already gone here... but you didn't really done anything...." Garrick told Elliot who nodded in his guess..

"Getting your first wand? Your looks definitely doesn't say that..." Garrick Ollivander continued, pointing out how he's too big for a first year.

"It's Faust, and I get that a lot, thank you," Elliot answered where Harry gazes at him from time to time.

"And you?" Elliot looked at the flustered Harry who didn't expect a stranger to ask him. Who wouldn't when your being stared always? It's rather awkward for Elliot so he just asked him.

"It's Harry, Harry Potter" He answered, giving his hand for a handshake, where Elliot took it with his half heartedly smile.

"Perra soy la que mataste empujándome" The smiling Elliot said in one breath. Getting weird gazes from the two.

"Oh, it's the Spanish way of saying nice to meet you, see you soon in the school..." Elliot then responded flashing a blinding smile with his white shining teeth.

"Oh, sure, nice to meet you too" Harry then answered in understanding his words, soon exiting the shop giving Elliot a smile.

It was a rather awkward encounter with Elliot it seems. Not like Elliot even expected encountering Harry even really.

"Oh, well, Faust.... You definitely are different from a normal one, you seems too knowledgeable I guess...."

Ollivander mischievously stared at Elliot, who returned the look at him.

"And maybe, I got a wand for that," He continued, going around his stacks of tottering piles of boxes that houses the wands. Going around for a bit in the back, he got one opening it's inside.

"11" inches, Dragon Hearstring, with its Mahogy Wood... rather not so flexible" Ollivander explained its properties, its lenght, core, wood and flexibility. Holding the tip as he hands in the wand to Elliot.

Elliot almost snorted. It's the very same wand he had in the past. Just the appearance, with its brown colored one, turning into black in the very end of the tip. There's vain like inlayed wood surrounding in the end.

He got the wand, his expectancy about getting the same one turning to be right. Wands are mostly stucked with their masters, having a bond with them.

Unless if they're defeated, the attacker that killed the owner may get it next.

He held the long thin thing like how he hold it in the past. His body had a goosebumps after doing so. His body was not used to holding it, yet his mind and heart is.

He adjusted the wand in his hands before firing, taking it in the position Albus recommended. But he changed it sooner in his later years, as you should hold it on your most comfortable way.

After seconds of adjusting, making it a surprise wonder for Ollivander, he fired off, expecting it to glow golden and red to shower him, to surround him. And warmth to embrace him.

With his relaxed hands, turning in his wrist, he was taken back in the door, as it exploded away from his hands. Unlike the usual destroying of things, which Ollivander always solves by spells, it didn't destroyed anything nor made trouble. Yet, it troubled himself. It stinged in his hands, the explosion making black marks in his calloused yet soft hands, and possibly, a wound.

Secretly, he took his hands in his back, while picking up the blown wand in the floor, healing his hand as he distracts Ollivander's eye into the wand that was in the floor.

"I'm sorry about that, most often it would just be blowing some things off, but you....." Ollivander's face was in puzzle too. It already happened indeed in the past, but it was very long time ago, and he didn't expect it that much to happen in modern times.

"It's alright, no damage done..." Elliot forge a fake smile, saying everything's alright.

Ollivander took notice of his hands, expecting it to be bleeding a bit. Only to see dust in it. He blinks brushing those thoughts away..

"Well...." He hums turning back once again to look for one.

Time passing, and searching several dozens of boxes, he gave and took six wands already from this peculiar customer of his. His idea of wands that matches the boy already running out. And Raizel also returned. Whom Elliot explained as his friend.

Ollivander, turning into his left, he looked at the used section, where a sole wand is stored in the very top. He smiled in curiosity. It's been decades since he got hold of that section. Nor bothered with it.

Tip toe-ing, he grabs the box that lays in the section. Opening it, revealing a silver white tip that ends in the middle, turning dark raven black, where in the end is a gemstone, it is the 'second' core he remembers, a wand that bears two cores are called dual cores, and this one is indeed bears a dual core, the second one is unknown, as it was inputted by the owner himself, the white haired boy he recalls....

"What about this one, 11 3/4" inches, Aspen wood, and Dragon Heartstrings and also.... rather stiff.... " Ollivander was about to say about the gemstone, only to stop and change it with the flexibility, smiling and waving his head, not continuing.

Holding the tip of the seventh wand, he gives it to Elliot who is already apathetic because of the continually changing of wands.

Not bother getting the right position, he lazily flicked it, but he immediately got his attention back as warmth embraces his fingers, gold and reddish sparks going out of the tip like fireworks going off, Raizel smiled as after countless tries, his sire finally succeeded.

Elliot looked at the wand, noticeably that it's kind of fancy looking. Mostly, the rather rare shining gemstone in the end. Was it an add on?

"How much is it?" Elliot didn't even bother asking if it was the right wand. It's obvious it is. Ollivander nodded as he was pretty shocked that a used wand is fitted for another one.

"Oh... it's a used one, so 3 galleons it is.." Stated Ollivander as Elliot raise his eyebrows, unexpectedly coming to him that it was already used. But he let it off as Raizel payed it off.

Before exiting, Elliot gave him a back look, a used wand? Is the owner already killed? That's why it found a new owner? Or maybe it was because of his reincarnation, that he's already supposed to be dead... and thus the wand is fitting for him....

Raizel opened the door, and Elliot followed in while his face facing the back, his front not clear, only to bump into someone unknown, exclaiming in exaggerated voice.....

"OuCh!"
