Chapter 38 - Provocation

The exaggeration made Elliot snort out of the blue. It wasn't even that hard. He just bumped into the guy, that's all. Almost laughing, he turns to Raizel who is beside him, seeing Raizel's face where it hides himself from the person in front of them. Elliot raise his eyebrows, confused by his expression.

Elliot, not knowing yet, stared at the person in front of him, only to smile in interest, slowly turning into a silent grin ears to ears. They were stay still. As the boy in front of him rubs his head in hyperbole, as Elliot gags in disbelief.

White sleak hair, and white paley skin, green clothes shining in his body, of course. A Malfoy.

Importantly, Draco Malfoy.

Elliot reckoned as he didn't expect two strange encounters within the day. Even, within an hour.

He opened his mouth incredulous.

"How dare you bump into the heir of Mal-"

The squeaky childish voice of Draco nags loudly within the shop. Ollivander tooked notice, but didn't bother. After rubbing his thin hair full of gel, he stares up confident that even if it's any person, he can complain anytime. If it's a higher up, he can just get away with it with his status.

Looking slowly, his eyes full of intense glare of hatred and exaggeratingly irritated, meets the emerald green eyes with raven shade in its upper part. It was hypnotic and it was like sucking anyone who stares upon on it.

Draco took a step back as he almost falls behind unbalanced, only for Elliot to take his arms not letting him fall. He stuttered as he stands up.

"Good day Malfoy," greeted Elliot as he pulled his hands as Draco finally stood up. There was defiance, demeaning, and mockery in the voice.

Draco didn't managed to speak a word, he still recalled the day where he ran the fastest in his luxury life, the only time where he didn't have any choice but to never mention that trauma with anyone, as it will take a hit back to him. The very same man, eh well, boy, that almost threatened his life. His father will definitely be disappointed if he gets to know the events, and will force him again to take infinite classes everyday, which he opposed to. As he only has his interest in Quidditch, passing his everyday time with the wizard sport rather stay with his tutor for countless hours to understand nothing.

With Elliot demeaning eyes upon him, he gulps speechless of Elliot's rather innocent aura.

"You okay Draco?" A deeper voice, with longer hair reaching pass his shoulder, puts his hand in the shoulders of Draco, who shivered obviously at his touch.

"Ah yes, father..." The docile Draco nodded, ignoring Elliot and Raizel as Lucius Malfoy strikes a gaze that ask for submission. Well what did you expect? Elliot didn't give in, smirking slightly as Lucius insultingly snorted, the words 'muggle' obviously being let out by his mouth silently.

Like the usual starter of fights, their shoulders hit with each other, even with the gap in their height. Draco stared in surprised as there's someone that can battle his father's demeanor.

"Please be careful, as muggle don't have the rights to even be near a pureblood..." Lucius let out his venom splatter, looking back slightly with his pupil in the corner of his eyes, they didn't face each other, rather, stay still in their spot, one staring at north, one at south. Lucius emphasized the word muggle and pureblood. Speaking out his pride as the head of Malfoy family.

"Yeah, of course... much for a Death Eater like you...."

Elliot didn't seems he replied with his dangerously deep and silent voice. Draco didn't even heard it nor Raizel. Only between the two.

Lucius immediately turn around to confront the person, yet, Elliot and Raizel was already gone, off to another store. Lucius grits his teeth, and fist curled up into strong ball, like about to punch someone. Draco felt his father's sudden anger, pulling him into the store rather than cause a chaos within the crowded street and get his wand later on late. Draco likes fights...Fights that he can win. And no one in the British Wizarding World dare not know the Malfoys. Yet here, the very person that almost killed him didn't bother respecting his respectable father. And with the persons strength ,he should be knowledgeable about their status. And if he's smart enough, he would not dare bother them. But instead, he did the opposite. And Draco got a hint that the person may be powerful than he thought.

Raizel stared at Elliot who seems amused. There are rarely any muggle things that does surprise nor satisfy his master, even sudden advancement with their company makes him happy much, yet here, simple confrontation imprints a smile into his face already.

"Madam Malkin's next!" Elliot now with his few adrenaline given to him, felt lively at least for the day.

He was feeling jumpy and all, his observance heightened as his curiosity with the Malfoy's goes high after provoking them. He might get into trouble in the future, but he trust his Owlers.

Raizel only nodded obediently following after his master from behind. His tall figure easily accessing way through the crowd, his thin slender yet hard figure snake dodging them.

They arrived at the clothes shop, Raizel preferred Twifflet and Tattings, here's a lot more better products in that shop where most purebloods goes to, but it won't make any change if the products are good or not, as Elliot would enhance the clothes himself making them have the same effect, cheap or not.

"By the way, are the Owlers any good?" Elliot asked before entering. He rather let that thought slipped out of his mind earlier after those moments with the wands, Harry, and Malfoys. But he is sure they, Owlers, are fully healed, with his sacrificial help. He laughed for a second in his mind, his narcissistic nature coming out again, cursing Arch with his impact onto Elliot.

"They're in good condition, can start work already thanks for your help, they perhaps are training the core enhancer this time," He replied accordance to the reported things Grey sent him while in Owling building.

"Is that so? Thank you then," Elliot has the gratitude within his voice, which Raizel didn't exactly know what's there to be thankful about.

"Why so.... sir?" He asked with his curious nature.

"You should be also training now with them. Yet here you are, stuck with my arse" Elliot explained going in the shop, the pink and violet theme shop reflecting on his eyes.

"No worries sire, Im a fast learner after all," Raizel responded thankful for his concern, Elliot snorted, as for the unintentionally narcissistic remark.

"Touché"

As usual, Madam Malkin's is very active with the dozens of customers continually coming in one after another. Tiredness not within her eyes at all.

"Hello boys, what can I get for you?"

She seems to not remember Elliot. Not like she need to but the two guys gave in the letter to let her know that it's the first year things.

"Oh! Shopping for your sibling perhaps?" She stated, and Elliot fakely laugh. Raizel unbothered whatsoever with his poker face. She took them as older brothers shopping for their 'younger' non existing sibling.

"Well, tell your sibling that he or she is needed for measurements.." She continued in with his assumptions. But no one will really argue by the fact she's being idiotic right now. If any guys do see Elliot and Raizel, they would think the same thing.

"Oh, not needed, he's already here... me" Elliot answered as he voluntarily goes to the fitting room, not wasting time with Madam Malkin's jolly responses. Madam Malkin's was left with Raizel, whom only smiled, surprised. She took off after the boy, giving him the measurements she took of him for few minutes. "Name please?" She asked getting a hard parchment paper where loads of names are inputted in the list of record, every one of her customers.

"I've been here already, by the name... Alistair" He almost blurted his real name, he remembered back when he lied with his name because he was unaccompanied by a person. If your underage without any accompany, you will be not able to purchase anything. Thats how the shop rules goes. Madam Malkin's didn't bother asking for his age currently as he has a accompany anyway obviously. Looking at her record, she goes back long to the 'A' section, searching through, she found his name in the middle, seeing how big of a change he got.

"You had some good workouts haven't you son?" Talks Madam Malkin's comparing the current measurements with the old one. Elliot only nodded wanting to proceed already. After some few minutes more, they've got out of the shop carrying their three black robes with an extra one, making it 4, pointed hat, winter cloaks, and protective gloves. Elliot did thought about his 4th Year, how there's the silly Yule Ball that everyone focused about, and clothing was a large part of it. But he figured that he already had some fancy suits and all, so he just let it go.

Hours later they managed to get pass through each needed shops, getting all the things that are required. The left money wasn't put into Gringotts but its up to the company. Every items was stored into Raizel's space sack, can hold up to 300 items without weighing nor getting big. The left money, it's probably for Elliot's pocket money once he gets to Hogwarts. Though everything will be set, food, needs, and all, there's still accidents that need to be prepared for. And money may be part of it.

It was a day for Elliot, knowing Justin's accident, and meeting the two boys that rivals each other. Sooner, they apparate off to Owling, as for Elliot's stay for the rest of the month.
