Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Myths

Kings are made to sit on thrones, but who makes those thrones? Who builds the castles that stands strong? Who creates the walls that tower high, and defend the land?

The creators of these, are none other then the mighty Throne Forgers. They are pledged not to the kings they serve but the thrones they sit upon. They only served the kings to protect the thrones. For the thrones to them was above the kings, to them it was their god.

They carried the weight of Kings on their shoulders to protect the thrones, like the almighty titan Atlas.

When war arose they where no stranger to the battlefield. The enemy would tremble as they saw the mighty Forgers riding giant war beasts, covered in gold plating. As they wielded huge war-hammers, glazed in blood. The armor they wore glistened with jewels and platinum, expressing a aura of power and vigilance. Yet many years ago the war of Brarst caused the Throne Forgers to become enraged.

They roamed from kingdom to kingdom in an attempt to cleanse the thrones, of the ones that did them harm. They slaughtered the royal kings and queens, and appointed ones from their ranks to guard each throne. They would choose those who are worthy of the throne, and give there blessings for them to become kings and queens.

Yet age was an inevitable thing that caused the downfall of the Throne Forgers, some remained yet they where extremely weak in number. The Throne Forgers decided that they would pass on their faith and knowledge to a person. A person of virtue, honor, dignity, pride, power, respect, justice, and compassion. So they spread out into the vast desert to find that so called person. Many decades passed and no sign was herd from the Forgers, which influenced the neglect of the thrones once more.

Yet the Kingdom of Vallahiem was different. The beloved princess that ascended the throne was taught much about the history of the kingdom, and its people. She especially loved the stories of the Throne Forgers that road on majestic war beasts, clad in platinum and jewelry. How they protected the thrones and vanquishing evil, she believed in them more than just a fairytale. This cause her to respect the Throne she sat upon. The throne that was in Vallahiem, was a throne made of obsidian by the mythical Forgers. The name written upon the thrones base was written in old Forger runes. However from her love for the stories, she could barley read the runes.

The runes spelled out the name Relakos . As the days progressed after her accession to the throne, she would bow and greet Relakos.

"Good morning Relakos."

She performed this every morning and evening, to show the throne respect. Some of the Princess retainers had grown worrisome, for her continued conversations with the throne. The princess daily routine was to be present in the great hall for most the day, then attended her classes after she dealt with various people. She dealt with foreign kingdom emissaries, and marriage proposals. However the emissaries where a important matter she couldn't refuse, the marriage proposals meant nothing to her. She wanted to marry a mighty throne Forgers, as long as he's not that much older then her, it's fine. However the throne Forgers lived over 300 years ago so they couldn't be alive, and if they where they would be frail old men. This caused a small depression in the heart of the princess.

The princess just turned 17, she was beautiful, and considered the flower of the kingdom. She had lush blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, her rosy cheeks and fair skin made her beauty almost transcendent. She knew she could have any man she wished, however the only one she wished for was a Throne Forger. Yet they where just myths, stories told to children to make them love their kingdom. However the princess believed they still lived.

As the days to her 18 birthday where closing in, it was custom to be married by then. The princess locked herself in her room crying rivers, and felt betrayed.

"Why!... Relakos, why couldn't you answer my prayer by sending a Forger to me, why..."

As the tears flowed down her face, possible consorts began to arrive in Vallahiem. Some of wealthy merchants, sons of lords, and foreign emperors. However someone in town had to seek audience with her majesty the princess. However he was not here in an attempt to marry the princess, but to consular her on the man she would marry, and to see if they honored the throne.

As the princess laid on her bed in tears, one of her retainers barged in.

"Pardon my intrusion princess, but ummm... their seems to be someone her to see you, about the marriage proposals."

The princess responded in a manner befitting her current state.

"Just tell them to wait with the other marriage candidates, I'm not in the mood right now."

The princess was still in tears and her face was red from her endless crying. Yet the retailer didn't leave right away instead spoke once more.

"My princess, the man is in the throne room and is touching the throne you can't let this pass."

As if the tears where a mirage, the princess stood up quick and spoke.

"They dare touch Relakos."

The princess was infuriated and walked out of her chambers with her retainer, and asked.

"Who is this man, why didn't the guards stop him?"

The retainer spoke hesitantly.

"I don't know, he just wore a dirty cloak an wielded a giant war hammer."

The princesses eyes widened.

"So your saying that y'all let an armed unknown man wonder inside the castle."

The retainer shrinked back as responded.

"My princess we couldn't do anything even if we tried, you'll understand when you see him."

As she enter the throne room she laid her eyes upon a huge figure, at least 7ft tall and hidden by a cloak. She unconsciously gulped, before she began to speak.

"H-Hey who are you, w-why are you here!"

Her throat felt like it had heavy rocks on it, she could barley use her words, in the presence of this man.

The man glanced back and began to speak, in a soft low voice.

"Oh your majesty, you are finally here, good we have much to discus."
