The weather was changing fast, clouds were racing to cover the sky and wind blew in all directions. Gio Tocca decided to go back home first to change out of her high-waist mini-skirt and crop top. She needed to wear something warmer, although not too hot. She never liked too much cloth on her so all her clothing wear revealing. Some people said it was a cry for attention for all the lost love she never got from her father. All she knows about her father was that he was a man, obviously, because he was able to produce a sp*rm that made her. And... that's all she knew. So she always had a void in her wondering if her father never loved her or why he didn't stick around.
Therefore she made herself happy with beautiful clothes, beautiful make-up, beautiful everything. Anything that wouldn't remind her of all the hardships she grew up with or the fact that she didn't know her father. That was one of the reasons she loved partying and dancing, it brought her joy and she could zone out reality with good music.
The only thing she hadn't tried, though, was finding happiness in clim*x. Yes, as wild as she is, she is a virgin. It never really felt like the right time with any of her exs and now this current boyfriend, Rendell, she felt herself on the edge. Not because she felt ready, but because Rendell was pressuring her into it. He even threatened to leave her because he felt unloved by her refusal to take things to the next step. Not that she cared if he left her, she just didn't want that to be the reason to their break up. Besides, Rendell is handsome and everyone in the neighborhood thinks they are a perfect match and girls envy her. Little did she know, real envy had horns and claws.
Gio got to her house and found her mother going through her closet and she thought she was about to go crazy. It wasn't the first time her mother went through her closet to take clothing but she could never let it lying down. Her mother just wouldn't let up and grow up, she was the same size as her and only 15years older than her. Hence people thought they were siblings, and her mother wearing her same style of clothing didn't help one bit.
"Mother...!" Gio shouted and before she could finish her sentence her mother interrupted her calmly as though she wasn't even fazed or caught... "Call me Danielle" she said without stoping what she was doing. Which was picking out outfits from Gio's closet. Danielle never allowed Gio to call her mother or mum. She always felt like it made her look to old, having a child as old as Gio.
"Stop going through my things!" Gio screeched. Danielle simply ignored her and continued. She sighed angrily when she tried on a white LV shirt and it didn't fit "Why are you getting smaller?!" she whined. "No, Mum..." Gio paused her mother gave her a look, "Danielle, I'm getting smaller, you're getting bigger... and older" she mocked her.
Danielle angrily pouted and took only two dresses and shoes. "Anyway, some girl..."she had a disgusted face on "Cre, Cri, Ch-something was looking for you earlier"
"Chrissie?" Gio asked
"Yeah, whatever" Danielle answered walking out "I don't like that girl!"
Gio sighed as she changed into a new hot outfit. She re-did her make-up and was looking fine like a goddess that she is. Christine Josephs was another friend of hers. Everyone called her Chrissie and she was a Gio-wannabe.
Gio walked out to hail a cab by the road when a car swerved and nearly hit her. Gio's b*tch girl nature came out in an instant and she started shouting "Hey, motherf*cker! Do you know how to drive?!" she was fuming "Did you buy your licence, you piece of sh*t?!"
The door of the car opened and a hot handsome man got out slowly. His refined nose, pink lips and pear-blossom eyes made him look like he had make-up on. His body was well-built and he was dressed as if he was going for a photoshoot.
Gio felt her heart drop into her stomach and her breathe hitch as she tried to breathe evenly. She put on her best nonchalant face and continued her act "Are you an idiot?" she asked angrily, although her was was no longer as angry as it were at first.
"I'm sorry, I lost control of the wheel" his magnetic baritone swirled in her ears and she felt her underwear go wet on a certain spot. She took a deep breathe and control her voice saying "You lucky you didn't bump into me, I would've helped you see your ancestors sooner!"
Gio quickly turned and left before he could say anything else, cause she was sure she was going to say yes to whatever came out of his mouth next. She quickly got into her cab and told the driver to drive off immediately.
Quince was left stunned standing frozen at the spot. He knew she was feisty but wow she really left him speechless. He got tongue-tied when she started shouting and when she called him stupid he thought it was the sexiest thing ever.
Although it was the first time he talked to her, it wasn't the first time he saw her. And he still felt like he was seeing her for the first time. The way her dress framed her body, every curve at the right place, her hour-glass waist, her smokey eyes. She looked like she had just walked out of a painting.
Quince nearly blurted out "Marry me" when she turned around and left but his feet grew roots to ground and his tongue got paralised. She was way too beautiful he couldn't even think or do anything right. That's when he knew, this girl will be the death of him.
