Blaze was frantically following mage trying to keep pace as mage lead him to the great hall where the welcoming assembly is taking place "hey mage what is the welcoming assembly" blaze said breathing heavily
"the welcoming assembly is a thing what the academy does to welcome new students to the academy and hey kid your lucky you broke into the academy when they were looking for new students," the mage said looking behind him and smiling.
"hey I didn't mean to raid the place I was trying to learn different sword styles but one of the students blew up the tower I was on," blaze said remembering the mass blade of light that destroyed the tower
"well you weren't meant to be there in the first place" the mage replied "I know, I know but how strong do you have to be to create a massive blade of light what can destroy a castle tower," blaze asked shocked by the power of the attack
"Well I shouldn't be saying this since it is giving you an unfair advantage but who cares, Sophia can't make things with magic, "the mage said as he and blaze reached the great hall
"wait what does that..." mage pushed blaze into the gigantic Hall and as blaze looked forward after clumsy entering the assembly and all he could see were hundreds of stares piercing through him blaze could only say three words "sorry I'm late" these words echoed through the halls until blaze heard a voice from the other side of the hall "all new students please walk to the stage" so blaze quickly ran onto the stage, when blaze got onto the stage he walked over to the other new students
"hey aren't you the guy who broke into the school and kidnapped a student" a boy with a scar on his face questioned
"Well at first I was spying on the students" blaze said making a terrible excuse
"I guess you are a pervert then," a girl with long white hair said with an expression of disgust
"wait I mean I was spying on the students trying to learn the different ways to use a sword" blaze hastily added
"thank the light one you are not a pervert but wait a minute how did you get into the academy without knowing how to use a sword," the boy asked confused
"yes how did you get into the academy most students who go here spent most of there life training to get in" the white-haired girl added
"honestly I have no idea I'm not noble and I don't know any powerful people but my best guess would be that it took a group of students to take me down so the academy might see potential in me" blaze answered
"I guess it will remain a mystery anyway we should probably shut up the academy's head is about to talk" the boy whispered as the head walked onto the stage
"Please be silent students" the head cowardly said before a female teacher walked forward and slammed her foot onto the stage loudly causing the entire hall to become filled with silence, at first blaze thought the students became silent out of fear or shock but when he tried to whisper to the white-haired he realised that he was unable to speak he had been muted.
"Now listen to the head or I won't give your voices back," the teacher shouted so loud it echoed throughout the hall
blaze quickly looked towards the head as he began to speak "today we are welcoming new students to the academy you may be asking why we allowed three new students to join halfway through the year well to be blunt they have proven that they can defeat most to nearly all of the students in this room" blaze began to sweat massively well holding an expression of horror and utter panic "now lets listen to each student introduce themselves" the head said looking over to blaze causing him to sweat even more as he stepped forward "hi I'm blaze I don't think I am that strong but I guess I was wrong " blaze said quickly and awkwardly before stepping back to let the girl with the white hair speak "hi I am snow and I should let you know that I will be the strongest knight in this academy's history" snow said shocking blaze and causing the students to give angry looks towards her then the boy with a scar on his face stepped forward and said " I am Richard i come from the house of goldrey my father said he will give his fortune to his most worthy child so I have came here to challenge the strongest students of this academy and I will face anyone who challenges" after saying this a voice echoed through the hall saying "my student will challenge you I think he should be able to humble you" blaze recognised the voice and once he realised who it is blaze shouted "garren where were you" garren walked through the hall and stepped onto the stage "I was kidnapped by a stalker who for some only likes talking to me" garren said pointing to the teacher as she started to walk over to garren "i didn't kidnapped you I arrested you" the teacher said defending herself "you tied me up in rope and you blackmailed mage to cast nightmarish illusions on me till I agree to work here again" garren shouted "well I am not a stalker" the stalker said in a very unconvincing tone "you have broke into my house multiple times" garren said much to blaze's concern "you know what lets make a bet if blaze can beat Richard in a fight then I will stop breaking into your house but if richard wins you have to move into my house" the teacher said causing blaze to sweat again "fine the fighting in 10 minutes" garren said walking away well pulling blaze behind him.
Blaze was waiting nervously for the battle between him and Richard to begin blaze knew he didn't have the strength to fight Richard in a power match but when he was on the stage he noticed that when Richard walked forward to speak his armour bent the floorboards underneath him that means it weighs a lot so blaze knows that he has to use his mobility in this fight then suddenly blaze heard the heavy arena doors open and a crowd cheering blaze stepped out into the arena and when he did he heard an announcer say "welcome folks to a battle between two new students one who faced the whole school and is a student of Garren himself blaze!!! The other is the second son to the goldrey family and the strongest son Richard" then Richard entered the arena with a giant axe and started to walk other to blaze as the crowd counted down to the start of the battle "three, two, one Battle!"
