As I was about to touch the sacred manual a golden light shot towards my forehead transmitting data to my brain about the cultivation technique. It had turned out that this manual is manual from a demon that had been complacent of not being able to eat anything that he had wanted, as some things were poisons and others were inedible for even cultivators. So he was determined to make a manual that would allow him to eat anything in the vast reaches of the world and that would allow him to absorb their Qi even if the elements weren't compatible with his demonic body.
But then he was ganged up on by all of the demonic powerhouses just so he could get his hands on the manual. But what they didn't know is that before the demon had died, he had sent it into the infinite void, since he had made it out of godly alloy metals which was the rarest form of metal, and could only be happened upon by chance. So that was why the book was able to stay in the infinite void for so long.
After the introductions were another golden light had went into my forehead, this time it was the first movement titles 'stone stomach' which was supposed to change your stomach to bronze to allow all of the lower tier metals, herbs, etc.
The book had then disappeared somewhere but then I noticed a tattoo on the back of my elbow which looked like a book. The book tattoo then sent another golden light to my head which was a weird symbol which read out "Spiritual connection" that was smaller than a few millimeters and had engraved itself into my mind. That symbol was what would allow us to 'speak' to each other as sending golden lights into my forehead would be too energy consuming.
The book had then told me to look at my hands. I looked at my 'hands' and noticed a similar corporeal ring on my right ring finger. It had then said that it was a "Space Ring" that could store up to a few meters of stuff, but as I got stronger the space would multiply and it would unlock different layers.
It had then told me that I could only leave when I was strong enough, I had then agreed with that since I didn't know what was out there outside of the void. "You can also use your devouring power to absorb something called void Qi from the void." It had then went on to inform me that it was split between 1st tier void essence, 2nd tier void essence, 3rd tier void essence, etc. till the 9th tier, it also told me that there was more than those, but that I shouldn't worry about that for now
The tiers were further divided into lower level, middle level, high level, upper level, and superior level. I couldn't even 'eat' lower level 1st tier essence, as I had yet to achieve 'stone stomach' with the Supreme Art.
