Chapter 1 - The Speck of Darkness

My name is Chen Tunshi. I had been born into a rich family, though not the richest. I didn't have access to any of the money, as my parents had thought that I had been a failure and had stayed far away from me.

My siblings were about the same since they had seen that I had wanted nothing to due with the family business and had just left me there, even my sister whom I had thought to be one of the nicest people that I had ever known had abandoned me. I had seen through her nice girl routine whilst thinking about what interests she could get from everyone.

As everyone that I had ever known had just left me lying on the curb, my girlfriend decided to break up with me, deciding that she couldn't get any other benefits from me. I had then learned that she had slept with everyone in the house, even my father. Which had led to me never trusting my feelings ever again when it came to "Love".

As I had been laying in my apartment from the leftover money that I had left from all of the years that I had been saving up. I saw that there was a speck of darkness that was ever so growing slowly, millimeter by millimeter, inch by inch. I decided to put something in there, I'm not sure why tho. I put a wrapper from a candy bar into the hole, which led to it being absorbed by it, speeding up the process of the growth by 2 times.

Riddled with fear, I decided to run, but the ball which was previously the speck noticed this and then decided to move towards me. Not knowing what to do, I thought that hitting it with a chair would at least do something about it, but the only thing that it did was stop the chair, then the ball started to dismember it piece by piece, atom by atom as the chair was suspended mid-air.
