The incident sadly did not go unnoticed. While Sharon, Lessly and Darien escaped with Darien carrying the other two away without incident. Not many would even blink an eye at a vampire simply carrying two humans, mostly turning away so they did not get entangled in such a problem.
At the beach, two vampires of similar looks stood side by side as they viewed the carnage. Ice had frozen over the entire beach as well as part of the ocean, hundreds of ghouls fully frozen with the Giovanni Alpha spiked on a pole like some sort of Trophy.
The vampires had blonde long hair, one male and one female of similar height as they were clearly smaller than the rest of the vampires around. While having blonde hair they both looked Asian with Japanese descent.
Takerisa looked at his twin sister with a small smirk as he slowly began to give out a long sigh. "This is a mess that I really hoped we could avoid getting our first assignment."
The man spoke gently to his twin, the woman still holding a face of concentration as she looked around, even attempting to break some of the ice, though without any luck.
Merisa eventually turned to her brother, eyes sparkling as she was really enjoying this mystery as they came together. Other lower-level Vigil members guarding the areas around as the twins came together.
"Unbreakable ice, clearly magical and powerful. I'd say it's at least Tier six or seven magic."
Merisa spoke, the brother looking annoyed as he typed in his phone before looking back at his sister. "Checking the database, nothing about magic with ice in it. Water tiered magic is a thing but nothing that can freeze it. We know water is about healing but this seems more destructive than healing."
They both stared at the Database, both looking at it for a moment as they began to wonder before finally, Takerisa dialled a number to his boss, dialling it as he slowly placed it to his ear.
"It's Takerisa. I have an issue. Ice magic or something similar… What?"
His face became pale as he listened to the phone call, his eyes moving to a group of vampires arriving at the scene. His sister snarled with disgust as she noted them.
"Brother hurry up with that phone call, Lessard's are here to stomp the ground."
Takerisa ignored his sister as a soft voice came to his ear. Gently whispering something that made the man begin to pale as he fell to his knees, listening to the man like he was talking with a god. His sister and the other vampires noting this action as the scene became somewhat different.
Takerisa eventually spoke, his words echoing out as everyone would hear this with ease.
"Thank you, Mr. Vigil. I will let them know, Priority one and that you are sending your daughter over."
Both of them turned to the group of vampires, the leader at the head snarling as the Lessard vampires finally approached, getting led by Kari.
Kari looked at the scene with annoyance as this was her small area and trouble in her area also meant trouble for her.
"This is Lessard territory… Vigil sons and daughters. We will do an internal investigation first and then hand over if it's necessary." She spoke softly as she crossed her arms lightly, even between different clans one had to be careful with Vigil. They were the universal peacekeepers though they had limited authority in other nations they still wielded much power.
Takerisa began to laugh as he shook his head. "Letting a bunch of loose ghouls roam the streets, such a high amount passing the wall that you said would protect you. Someone has failed the duties which clearly makes this a Class-3 case which is within our bounds."
The smile vanished from Kari's face as she felt anger rising in her as she wanted to scream. She knew by reputation that these twins were at least one level higher than her, she had no chance in actual combat. Along with this being a Class-3 case meant she had no chance without an Ancient vampire being with her.
"That is not all, because of the situation and my orders from Mr. Vigil I've been authorised to classify this as a Class-1. Meaning I'm allowed to kill anyone who gets in my way. No matter the cost. I think an Elder vampire such as yourself should know your place!"
The crowd went silent now, The light sound of swords getting drawn as all Vigil members had heard the situation, clearly, the air changing rapidly to one of panic as the Lessard members quickly withdrew. Kari snarled as she walked off with her tail tucked right between her legs.
"Find out what has happened, we can't let Vigil pull the wool over our eyes, something is happening and report to the higher-ups about all that Ice!"
The groups parted as Kari and the twins stared at each other for a moment.
"Brother, what did he say…"
His sister speaking gently with the same reverence as he did, though Takerisa still looked worried as the few words still shook him to the core. He did not understand the actual full concept of the words.
"She's awake finally. I'll send my firstborn to deal with the situation and confirm. If anyone gets in your way, kill them."
They both looked to each other again with worry before going back to cataloguing the scene. Sadly no one had witnessed it… At Least no one alive.
Sitting inside an office, snow drifting outside the window as a man let out a long sigh, the darkness hiding his features as he stared out the window with a long but deep and exhausted groan.
"Ms Blackrose, why have you moved now. What is your plan?"
