It only took a few moments of intense staring and the woman backed down, she had tried to push her luck and keep the vampire as hers. Though no one would blame her now that she was fully addicted to this man. It felt like a burning need to claim this person and keep them protected. It felt like she was getting overridden by this desire.
The move was rather uneventful as Darien took the few items he had, including books he had on light magic. Though most of all this stuff was useless now that he could no longer cast such magic.
"So, we should look at getting you some new clothing and get you looking rather normal."
Lessly spoke again, looking at the rather trashy outfit of the rather beautiful man at her side. His features were brought down by the style of clothing.
"I have no credits to redeem anything."
Those words spoken by a rather handsome vampire confused her, it was not till her brain began to work that she realised he was a scum citizen who lived in the lowest class of town. He did not even have a credit account.
"Look, after we get your items into my home, we can go out and I'll show you the normal areas. I'm guessing you have lived most of your life in the sc… lower class area. We will get you a credit account and we can try to find you a job."
She knew that Darien could find a job easy, in the service industry the lack of beautiful vampires with good attitudes was a rather good selling point. It was at a point and desperation that some of them would look the other way for different clan vampires just to make money.
She mentioned nothing like this to Darien as she headed to her home, quickly dumping his items into her own room as she then tugged him along and outside.
As they eventually got to the train station, heading into the vampire only section Darien felt so out of place, other vampires avoiding him as they looked away and tried to not even stare in his direction.
Darien noticed this behaviour as he felt a strange bit of worry, why was everyone avoiding eye contact with him, he could sense fear from a few of them as they began to shuffle away and even the human companions seemed to get this hint and move away as well.
Two vampires at the other end of the train, both scabs both began to speak to each other quietly.
"Dude, look at that vampire, his looks are perfect, hair amazing… though his clothes are disgusting. Must be a strange fashion choice."
"Only higher ranked vampires have such perfect looks, christ lucky bastard. Maybe hes related to the Elder Vampire, which makes him a Greater!"
This gossip began to spread. It was not long before a few lesser vampires looked at each other before turning to the vampire sitting by himself. They took a few looks before eyeing each other.
"This guy is clearly not one of the Elder's sons. Might as well check this out."
They both stood up, leaving the humans behind before moving down the train and standing just in front of the Darien.
"Hey, I've not seen you around before. You are not a Lessard I'm guessing as you would have introduced yourself at the Elder before coming about right?"
The first vampire spoke, his hand opening as a small blade was pulled out of his pocket with manipulation magic, the other vampire doing the same as insurance.
"You may be lucky and have some pretty looks, but if you are some off breed from the embassy then maybe we should take care of you."
They began laughing as the other scab vampires simply put their heads down, they may have been better than humans but in the end they could not stand up to actual ranked vampires, even if they were lesser
"After we finish with you, maybe we should take your lovely wom... "
His mouth cut off as a fist slammed into his face, the vampire slamming against and then out the window as his body cartwheeled down the side of the hill as the train continued on.
The second vampire stared at the hole, unable to move in fear as his head slowly turned to the man. His eyes bulging as he felt those fingers grasp his head, lifting him with such strength. If this vampire wanted him dead, he would be crushed and dead.
"You both talk too much."
Darien spoke out as he stared at the man with utter contempt and disgust. Lessly coming to the vampires save at the last moment.
"Oh come now, leave him alone. Let's not ruin our nice day."
"... Fine."
The second vampire sighed with relief, till he felt the wind on his face, his body now outside the train before he was let go. His scream echoing as he tumbled down the embankment. Scabs and Lesser vampires were stronger than humans and even tougher. Though it would still hurt.
Outside the train, the second vampire stumbled to his feet, groaning as he walked further down the side before noticing a horrendous sight. His friend crumpled against the tree, bones broken and wrapped around the same tree.
"Fuck, who did I offend. Someone that powerful taking public transportation is crazy…"
He quickly pulled open his phone as he called his Sire. His mind reeling as he passed all the information along. Someone had to figure out who this vampire was inside the territory.
Inside the main city of Shields. Sitting on her chair as she looked outside the window of the busy city as a woman came inside with a small fluster.
"Miss Kari, we found a white-haired male vampire who is unidentified in the city, he just killed two of my progeny's children on public transport."
Kari turned her head, already annoyed with Vigil being a pain, she now had to deal with an unknown vampire here as well.
"Powerful enough to kill lesser vampires. He must be at least one or two levels stronger. Go and figure this out and bring this person to me. Fuck, why is my day so bad!"
