Chapter 5 - ⭐5: The Ram

"So, you're the new girl? Such a pleasure to meet someone new in this repeative school life." The male said with a sarcastic tone of voice. Kara eyed him with curiousity, if her predictions, observations were right, she might be meeting someone ambitious. Someone who could be a workaholic of somesorts.

Eyeing him head to toe, the male had simple features. He had tan skin, which matched his light brown hair(much like a ochre color) which was slicked back . His eyes were amber in color and looked like he was pulled out from a werewolf teen fiction. Kara could already tell this boy was smart despite his playboy look because of the rectangular glasses hanging on the colar of his shirt and the way he talked arrogantly

He simply wore a white shirt with one button undone, matched by his black slacks and a Bruno Magli Martico Cap Toe Leather Derby as his footwear. He looked rather formal for someone in senior high. It made him look more mature and leader-like.

Kara sat down on her respective chair, right beside the male as he had occupied Cleiv's for time being. Kara returned the smile and never spoke whatsoever. She had a gut feeling that this new person would a start a conversation anyways, and she didn't get wrong when he did speak again, "Lets start by introducing ourselves. I'm Blaize. Blaize Xander Vhon Gohn. Blaize Gohn for short."

When Blaize offered his hand out, in which Kara took stating her name. Instead of a handshake, the ochre colored hair male brought her hand to his lips and placed a gentle and soft kiss on top it. Bewildered, Kara Felisea's face flushed pink, and was taken notice by the rest of group. "A pleasure meeting you, ms. Calei."

In the background, Chris was chuckling and giggling as he ooh-ed at how Kara flushed pink at the shock of having her hand kissed in a gentlemanly way. Cleiv, who stood beside her, was not upset, but not pleased either. Sylenna was humming a romantic tone as if she was going for a romance movie scene. Kara could already feel the gazes of the rest of the class.

When Blaize let go of her hand, he gave her a smile and a chuckle. "Well, since its almost time for class, I suppose we'll end our conversation here."

He stood up and straightened his attire and strode to the door, although before leaving, he turned his head to look at Kara, and spoke once more, "Ms. Calei, I'd like to have a chat with you again, care for lunch later?"

Gasps and mutters filled the classroom, shock in and disbelief in most of everyone's faces. Astonishment was written onto Chris, Gale, and Sylenna's faces, as displeasure wrote onto Cleiv's. Kara's mouth was agape, but recovered and nodded nonetheless. After Blaize left the classroom, the entire class' attention went straight to Kara. A majority of them started asking questions.

Jean Christian exclaimed to Kara with glee and astonishment, "Kara, I cant believe he asked you to lunch!"

"What do you mean? Doesn't he ask you to lunch?" Kara asked, raising an eyebrow at the curly haired male.

"Sea, he never, and I repeat, never asks any of us to lunch unless we invite him. He only ever stays stuck in the library the entire time of lunch, or even free time." Cleiv states, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, Kara. And this is the first time he ever invited someone, much less a stranger to him, to lunch." Sylenna added.

Despite that, Kara Felisea Calei remained unfazed by the situation a simple invitation caused. However, she did wonder why the male named Blaize would ask her out for lunch. A big question was, where did Calisto run off to? As what she heard from everyone else, Calisto was the type to mostly never miss a class. Why now, though?

While contemplating, she asked Cleiv where had the raven haired boy went, in which was replied with a simple, and still questionable answer, "No one knows, Sea. He does this everytime, so... Just get used to it, I guess." Kara cant help but feel unease and wonder. She knew from day one that Calisto was a mysterious man, afterall she was very observant.

Kara developed being observant as a child, she was shy, and due to this she tend to stay at home. She always looked out the window, observing people, and had grown a sickness to the stars that stargazing was a habit, thus she became an Astrophile. Growing up, and being taught by their old friend Dimitri, whom always braught them along to training camps, she grew wary of the people around her. Being used to different types of behaviors and memorizing them that even by a simple glance she can possibly tell what type of person that person is.

The entire morning class, she had pondered where the young male had gone. Had gotten a few scolds from their professors, but never minded them at all. Cleiv had already reminded her to ignore Calisto's sudden disappearance, since he'll be back anyways.

Lunch came and as the unexpected turn of events of the morning she arrived, the male, Blaize, had waited outside their classroom. Being polite, Kara went with him to the cafeteria, Cleiv and the others tagging along. Suprisingly, Blaize had ignored their presence, in which he had usually hated(partly).

Blaize Gohn, or rather Blaize Xander Vhon Gohn, was a very intelligent teen. Unlike most 18 year olds, he never took interest in games or slacking off. He is a very responsible, obidient, passionate, confident, and ambitious person. Very leader-like, as described by everyone in their year and the year advanced to them. He was also a model student.

"So, Kara, correct?" He asked in his monotone voice, laced with curiousity, that he so normally lacks.

Kara nodded in response as they strode across the hall in the first floor that led to the cafeteria. She faced him with a questioning gaze, as he removed his glasses and hung them onto his shirt before he spoke again.

"What brings you to Polaris?" He asked, his hands to his back like a proper student. Kara took notice that he was shaking for a few seconds, but soon enough he recovered. She could already tell that he is a self-composed person.

She hummed before speaking, "Well, a letter was sent to me while I was abroad. Telling I got a scholarship here, so I packed up and went here." When she spoke, her voice shook as she was nervous and uncomfortable. She was awkward in this sociable situation, she might as well collapse.

Due to her insecurity, she had already known that Blaize caught onto her shaking voice. And he did, as matter of a fact, however didn't mind. But, he did chuckle at her, causing Kara to look at him with a faint pout. "Sorry, its... Relax, no need to be nervous." He said with a rather charming grin.

Cleiv, behind everyone, was glaring daggers at Blaize secretely. Knowing Blaize for a number of years he's been here in Polaris Constell, the male wouldn't interact with anyone unless it benifits him. Whatever Blaize had up in his sleeve would either break Kara, and Cleiv Ashe Neverland, the person closest to her, would never like to see her cry or be broken. Losing her parents were enough pain.

"Calm down, Cleiv. He isn't gonna bite her." Gale chuckled as he swung his arm over Cleiv's shoulders.

Despite the statement, Cleiv still glared at Blaize. "You know Blaize, Gale. He wont approach anyone who wont benefit him." He groaned as he lift Gale's arms off him as he strode closer to Kara.

"... When's your birthday, Blaize?" Kara asked, her hands behind her back as they turned to the cafeteria. Blaize looked at her with a weird expression and smiled at how eager she was to know about his date of birth.

"The 12th of April, Ms. Calei. Why do you ask?" He answered as he held his chin in wonder.

Without a warning, Kara huffed out air and faced Cleiv, "Ha! I told you I was going to meet someone Ambitious!" It was loud enough that a few students in the cafeteria looked at their group but then proceeded to mind their own business.

"Whatever you say, Sea. Besides, I wasn't even argueing with you." Cleiv snorted at her reaction. To him, she looked like a kid who just figured out that the Earth spins around the solar system and not the Sun spinning around Earth. The ocean eyed female playfully punched his side, which caused Cleiv groan in minor pain.

As they bought their own meals, Cleiv merely have bought some orange juice as he always brought homemade sandwiches. Gale bought some spicy deep fried chicken(with rice), an apple, and a bottle of coke. Chris, brought his own lunch, and Sylenna buying seafood. Kara couldn't decide what to buy as she eyeing everything else. The tan male walked to her side and had told the cafeteria chef to give her the "Andromeda", handing in a black card to pay with. Of course, he had ordered his own before anyone else had theirs.

"Hey! Thats not fair! Why does Kara get to have a free meal and we dont?" Whined Gale, the only noisy one in the group.

The female was suprised that she literally had to look at the tan man. It would've been fine if she paid, or Cleiv, but someone whom she just met today to pay for her meal was out of her own expectation.

Stuck in her reverie, the rest of the group was far more suprised, except Cleiv. The blonde and Newt Scamander looking male had a foul look and a horrible aura on him. Although, he had to hide it from everyone, not to cause any commotion or suspiscions.

"Mr. Gohn, your meals. 1 Zeus Bolt meal, and an Andromeda Delicacy." Called the one incharge in the Cafeteria. The meals they had bought were sealed in a black cardboard box with intricate golden details. Kara, snapping out of her reverie was now feeling guilty as Blaize took the take outs.

"No f*cking way." Sylenna blurted out as she almost dropped her lunch to the polished cafeteria floor. Gale's mouth was left agaped as he eyed the boxes held by Blaize, whom was grinning.

The group them took a seat outside by the yard, where a tree stood, shadowing over an oak bench where they settled. Kara had to sit between Cleiv and Blaize, as the other three sat infront them.

"Blaize, why did you buy her the Andromeda Delicacy?! Thats so unfair--" Gale whined as he pouted. Sylenna laughed but also complained, "We understand you can buy yourself the Zeus Bolt Meal, but two supermeals? Seriously, dont rub your wealth over us."

"What do you guys mean...?" Kara asked as she opened the box containing her supposed food.

"Sea, Zeus Bolt Meal, and Andromeda Delicacy are one of the most expensive lunch you can buy in Polaris. Mostly were only bought by the wealthiest students here, and in this case, Blaize." Cleiv answered as he munched on his sandwich with a dead gaze.

"Not to worry, Ms. Calei. If it makes you uncomfortable, you can repay me anytime you wish." The intelligent male said as he took a bite onto his lunch. After swallowing it, he spoke again, "I would like to ask, Ms. Calei--"

"Please call me Kara. The Ms. Calei thing is... Making me feel uneasy."

"Right, Kara." He repeated, "I'd like to ask for you to enlighten us why you'd ask about my birthdate?"

Kara took ate her meal, astonished of the taste the Andromeda Delicacy gave her. It was no meal she had ever tasted, it was trult exotic. Well, not to trail away from the question, she answered with most of her pride, "Well, I study the stars. And last night when I was atar gazing I caught a glimpse of the constellation Aries just drifting by, although not clearly."

Her answer still left the male in confusion, so he asked again how she was able to predict an outcome. The astrophile laughed nervously and answered, "...Well... Its sort of a gut feeling..?"

Their class ended with a blast. Kara made a new friend, named Blaize. Cleiv still in a foul mood because of Blaize and his intentions, but he was glad Kara didn't catch on to his gloomy mood.

Kara.
