Chapter 68 - Varnish Bridge

Sena helped Rena cross [Varnish Bridge] and then got up as he saw Sensei Anna being escorted to a black sedan.

He sighed and passed Rena back her phone before he hopped out of the window of the food truck into the large crowd. There was thousands of students parting as he walked towards Sensei Anna, moving like a school of fish as he slowly walked over to her.

He didn't have a lot of time to worry about her with the puppet tribulation, but didn't like the way the two men were man handling her.

He approached the men with his hands in his pockets and stopped by the car right as she got near the door.

Their eyes glanced at him and smiled as Sensei Anna froze like a glacier when she saw him standing in front of the car. These were two hit men from the [Seven Noble Families] that had strength well past normal mortals.

They could knock down a tree with their bare hands and kill a tiger with a twist of their foot. Sena being here was the last straw for her, and she broke down crying when she them approaching him.

"Please-please he's just a kid! Don't hurt him! I'm going with you, aren't I?"

"She's crying. Do you want to die?" Sena leaned with a stare of contempt on the car as the two big muscular men in black suits approached him on his left and right side. "I'll give you a choice. Open casket or closed casket."

"She's just going with us, little brat."

"She'll be back next year after getting a little training," The other man smiled as they both towered over Sena. They were at least two times bigger than him with all factors considered, and their shadows were extending well past him and towards the onlooking girls.

They had heard Sena was good at games, but didn't think he'd mess with the [Seven Noble Families] hired men. Compared to Maxwell, they were at least thirty times stronger. His older brother also was a lover and not a fighter, so they were biting their nails as Sena raised up his right hand.

"You-you're timing is bad. I can't control my strength." Sena had his limiter reduced by ten percent and could kill them if he moved too fast. "Attack me, and I don't know what will happen."

"Attack you?" The man smiled and reached down towards Sena.

He felt one hundred percent confident that he could crush Sena like a little bug, but was met with a strange feeling in his gut. He looked down and noticed one of his buttons had been unbuttoned, and his abdomen had been completely pushed in.

He looked down and then at his hands before he fell down and crashed towards Sena.

Sena moved to the side and let the man bump his head into the grass. It bounced three times as the other man reached for his waist to grab a large knife.

"No, please don't. Sena, let me go with him!"

"It's already over. They both had indigestion," Sena walked up to Sensei Anna as the man to his left also fell and crashed onto the ground, causing dust to rise up into the air. "Let's go for a walk. I need to find someone quickly."

"They? They just fainted! Should we call someone?" Sensei Anna covered her mouth as the two men laid completely motionless on the ground, "They could be dead! If someone finds out you did this, Sena! This isn't okay."

"It's fine. They're just asleep." Sena yanked her towards her apartment and looked over towards the school as Lina walked out with a strange stare on her face.

Was she supposed to be the girl Sena loved?

He liked her on Valentines day every year, so he didn't think too much of it.

He walked Sensei Anna to her front door as she wiped the last tear out of her eye...

"Are you really not afraid?"

"Nope, my sister is a thousand times scarier than any noble family," Sena pointed at the girl in the mushroom suit as she ran away from men, "She's just doing a bad job right now."

"I-I see," Sensei Anna wiped the sweat off her head as she turned around and looked at her apartment building. "You want to come up right now? I owe you a drink?"

"Got to go. Maybe next time," Sena sighed and walked towards Lina as he got another notification. His limits had been reduced by thirty percent. Whom exactly could the puppet master have taken over?

"Oh no, tell me it's not her," Sena shivered as he thought about his other sister, "Anyone, but her."
