'Holy crap! The skill Night and the traits are OP! I am guessing that you have to use the skill to gain proficiency, but since I am already in a dark environment and I don't have the right amount of mana, I can't use the skill at the moment. Intelligence is a pretty important stat. I should probably upgrade that first. Strength, agility, and vitality are pretty much useless to me once I get a soldier.'

'As long as I complete these daily quests, I should be able to level up! Hey System, what are the ranks?'
[Ranks -
S - 1% of lifeforms are in the Rank S column
A - 4% of lifeforms are in the rank A column
B - 10% of lifeforms are in the rank B column
C - 15% of lifeforms are in the rank C column
D - 25% of lifeforms are in the rank D column
E - 45% of lifeforms are in the rank E column]
'At least I am not in the E rank column! Since goblins are usually basic creatures, I should be able to kill some of them!'
I made my way to the exit of the cave-like room, I would kill as many goblins as I could. As long as I complete the quest, I should gain quite a bit of experience. I need to get stronger, and the fastest way to do that is to level up! Without strength, I will never be able to protect the ones I care about.
'I swear from today onwards, I will never let anyone I care about get hurt. And to do that, I will kill everything that gets in the way of my goal.
---
After a little while of walking, I found three goblins. two of which carried crude swords and the last one carrying a knife. The knife looked like it was in much better condition than the swords.
I was currently hiding behind a rock, watching the goblins. If I ran in there now, I would most likely die. I currently only had my fist to kill them. There were some rocks around me, but that wouldn't help me in a 3v1 situation.
I sat there for a little while figuring out their movements. Forty minutes later, I had my plan ready. Every ten minutes one of the goblins went on a patrol around the area to make sure there weren't any enemies within their vicinity.
The patrol this time would be the goblin with the knife. I thought it would be a little easier since it only had a knife. A knife cannot compare to a sword unless you are proficient with the knife, but this goblin just looked stupid. I don't think that it would be very proficient with the knife.
As the goblin rounded a corner, away from the watchful eyes of the other two goblins, I silently followed it. Every time I made a sound, the goblins would go silent, trying to hear what it was, but I had already stopped moving and hidden behind a rock.

[Player Kura has acquired the skill, 'Stealth'.]
[(Stealth) (Simple) Level: 1; Cost to activate: 50 Mana; Duration: 20 Seconds; Cool-down: 30 Minutes; Upon activation, you will become invisible to everything or everyone. Can be canceled by a high-level detection skill; Proficiency: 0/100]
'Holy crap, this skill sure helps a lot! So in this world, as long as you are getting proficient at something, you can probably get the skill related to it.'
I thought that was pretty reasonable, so I didn't think much more about it.
As I rounded the corner the goblin with the knife went into, I saw the goblin taking a look behind rocks. I approached the goblin from behind as silent as possible. Once I was about halfway there, I stooped down at picked up a large rock. The goblin must have heard something because it turned around at that moment.
'Stealth'
I went invisible just as the goblin looked at where I had last stood.
'Phew, that was close!'
The goblin must have thought that it was hearing things because it soon turned back to searching behind the large rocks.
Once I was close enough to the goblin to use the rock, I lifted the rock above my head and smashed it down on the goblins head. It was an instant kill. It couldn't resist in the slightest. I quickly grabbed the knife and hid behind a rock.

I was surprised looking at the stats. They were so OP!
'System, name the goblin Feng.'
Tti-ring
[Goblin's name has been changed to 'Feng']
I put Feng back into my shadow and quickly made my way back to see what the other two goblins were doing. The other two goblins must not have heard anything because they didn't show any signs of movement. Stealth had already ended, so the next fight I needed to be more careful. Although, I could just rely on my soldiers.
After silently watching the goblins for about four minutes, they realized something was wrong. Their companion who gone on patrol had not yet come back. They split up and headed in different directions to check on the goblin.
The one that was making its way to the area with the dead goblin is the one I intended to kill first. As soon as it was out of sight, I quickly stood up and ran after it. I didn't need to worry about making too much noise as the other goblin had already gone down a narrow pathway to search for the lost goblin.
Once I rounded the corner I ran up to the goblin, I was going to make some noise anyways. If it had seen its companion dead, it would have called for the other goblin to come for it quickly. Either way, it was still going to call for help.
The goblin called for help, but it was already too late. A knife pierced through its chest area. But to my surprise, it didn't immediately die.
'Damn it, I am not strong enough yet.'
I quickly withdrew from the goblin and prepared for an attack. Because I hadn't been strong enough, the knife hadn't made it all the way to the heart.
'Soldier'
The goblin brought his sword up above his head and charged at me. Its speed was way higher than mine, but when it saw its lost companion rising from my shadow in a pure black form it stopped. The enemy goblin looked at me with fear and hatred in its eyes. Its companion had just been murdered and brought back as a soldier to work for me.
'Feng, tank the goblin for me.'
As soon as I issued the command, Feng picked up its bony sword and ran up to the goblin. The goblin was momentarily stunned but quickly pulled itself together. It brought up its sword and attacked Feng. They both seemed to have equal stats, but Feng didn't need to worry about dying. It was clear that the goblin was at a disadvantage. Feng could heal indefinitely as long as its master had mana left.
'I really need to raise my mana now. I am losing mana too fast.'
While Feng and the goblin were attacking each other, I silently sneaked behind the goblin. Once I was within stabbing range, I charged. The goblin tried to turn around and protect itself, but Feng kept it busy.
*Stab*
The goblin powerlessly fell to the ground.

'I should probably keep some of the goblins names the same. If I keep naming them, I will run out of names! Feng, you are to command the goblins.'

[Soldier Feng has been given the position of the goblins commander. All normal goblins will serve under Soldier Feng.]
'That's pretty convenient.'
I quickly had the soldiers hide behind a rock, I was planning on luring the last goblin over and having Feng and the goblin kill it. I wanted to see if they could get experience on kills.
As the last goblin came into view and saw me standing over its dead companion's body, rage-filled its black eyes. The goblin looked at me with a fierce hatred. It took out its sword and began running with all it had at me, but it was too late for it. At the very last second, it was stabbed in the side by Feng.
