Amidst the utter chaos of gunshots and running about rumbling large road vehicles, hiding behind a door was a ten year old boy, with confusion, fear, anxiety clearly painted on his still baby fat filled face…
His throat hurt from the screams he was trying to suppress while looking out of the small mail slot on the main door of their house.
His clear brown eyes were blurry with tears as they frantically scoured the surroundings of his house for something he was looking for the past two minutes…
He was so frightened and flustered that he couldn't even fix his gaze over a particular spot for more than a second…
Actually it was hard for him to look at anything that was remotely surrounding him longer than a second as everything that fell in his line of sight was dyed in blood red while the air was filled with the thick smell of death.
