The man flicked his wrist and the dagger was released into the air with an audible whoosh accompanying it. 'Jax' felt a cold gust of wind pass close to his face before a sharp and crisp noise rang right beside his left ear.
On his left side, from the corner of his eye, 'Jax' saw the dagger firmly stuck to the target board behind him, emitting a cold glint on its steel blade.
The blade was too sharp that only the short wooden handle was left out for people to see.
But, none of them could see any noticeable change of expression on the youth's face.
"You are indeed a tough nut," scoffed the impatient man from the side when his companion's scare couldn't bring any reaction out of the young man, per se.
Seeing him being so unafraid left the man fuming even more. He felt inexplicable displeasure upon failing to elicit some change in the 'cheeky' bastard's bearing.
