"I had a vision again," Jax started slowly, but when his recipient didn't show any reaction prompting him to stop, he continued with his speech and explained what he saw after killing the other one in the water and before he regained consciousness on the shore.
However, even after talking on and on for what seemed like an eternity, he wasn't able to elicit a normal reaction from the cold faced man.
Then, he heard the man's cold voice, seemingly, in response to his continuous babbling, "I will investigate it shortly."
His reply was so curt and on to the point that even though Jax felt annoyed for being treated coldly, he couldn't find a fault to protest.
He was effectively silenced with just one sentence and he couldn't help but close his eyes for a moment to calm himself down.
