As soon as he felt a dagger in his palm, Jax used his other hand as a leverage to hold the cheerful man in place and slashed at his throat without any further ado.
In an instant, the water surrounding him turned red. Jax had been keeping his eyes closed until now, in hopes of not letting the salt water irritate them.
However, now he had to open them to guide himself toward the surface. Only, the red water around him was blocking his already limited vision. Even so, Jax had to ignore the burning sensation in his eyes and get out of the water soon.
Or else, things would only get nasty when he couldn't find his way up and ended up with a belly full of salt water.
Since he already carried out his plan without stumbling upon any mishaps, Jax immediately loosened his grip around the man as he tried to swim back up to the surface.
