The next day. Gideon is engaged at a meeting. It started at morning and it ends at evening. Gideon is finally happy, he is clapping his hands.
He is on his phone.
"Let me get this straight. You're engaged, practically married. But you just asked her to go out with you? So is she your fiancee or your girlfriend.....? "
He laugh at Smith and is explaining him the whole situation.
FLASHBACK
" Let's date. Go out with me. "
"Are you insane ? Is this all joke to you? "
" No. I'm dead serious. That kiss we shared last night meant everything to me, and I thought it'd be better for us if we forget about it. But I can't. I'm not fooling around with you and if you don't believe me, go out with me. For real this time. "

" You're still here? you've been working overtime since you got back from that trip. Is everything ok? "

After Trinity lefts her mother comes.
"Mum? What are you doing here?
She comes and sits on the chair looking heartly to Cara.
"You haven't been talking to us Cara. You need to stop treating us like your enemy."
" I have nothing to say to either of you. I'm no longer mad, I just... want some time. "
" We've only have your interests at hearts. Look at you now all successful."

" I'll be visiting your dad later, would you like to-? "
Before she says Gideon enters her office. She sees him. And she had a great idea. In order to escape from her mom she thinks it's okay to go out with Gideon.
She shouts, "I'm all ready for our dinner date."
She comes towards Gideon and pushes herself and Gideon out of the office.
"I'm hurt, Cara. I feel so used right now. I mean sure, I came over to ask you out. But using me as a shield to avoid small talk with your mum? That's low. " Gideon says. He laughs and seeing that expression of him made Cara more than irritated.
"For someone who sacrificed herself to help her family business, you don't seem to like them a lot. I rarely hear you talk about them. " by what he said made Cara a bit emotional so he tried to change the subject.
"So.... dinner date? What should we get?"
Now, he started to sense a pattern here. She doesn't like to talk herself or her family..... More importantly, she seems the most at ease around him when he's..... miserable. Judging by easily she was distracted from what happened before, this is going to be a long night.
But, she will crush him. Hmmmmmm..... think, Cara, think. This is your chance to knock him off his cocky high horse. Where's the worst place someone like Gideon could go for a date? Ah.. she found it. A rusty and old diner near the street. As they take a sit on the table, they see big, cockroaches running on the table. Gideon is scared and so the Cara. But Cara laughs as he wants to crush Gideon.
"I can get us a table at L' Acolyte de L' Insolite. Must we really eat here ?"
" I prefer to dine in a place where I can actually read the menu."

"Ya fancy folks in the wrong place. Those fine ass restaurant are down the street." says the dinerlady.
" Nope, we're in the right place."
"Can we start with some drinks? Some champagne, maybe? To celebrate our first official date together."
But instead of champagne the dinerlady gives them milkshakes to celebrate their date.
"A toast to our first date together at diner!" Cara says as if she is enjoying.
It's frightening how amused she looks right now. He has never seen her smile so much.... But at what cost. Gideon thinks.
Now she's going to eat in the most messy way possible. Let's see how much he likes her now.
She is eating in the most horrible way as possible. Gideon is amused to see her eat like that.
Now, she must look like a mess! Let's see what he has to say now.
"I see what games you're trying to play, Cara." he holds her face and wipes all the food on her face.
CARA'S POV
His smiles went away as he leaned in closer; his eyes never leaving mine. He flashed me his signature smirk, but there was something dangerous about it this time. The tables have turned. I was no longer in the control of the trick I was pulling. He dips his head and plants a soft kiss besides my lips. Grinning cheekily, pulls back, licking the BBQ sauce that now stained his lips in slow, deliberate motion. Before I had time to respond, he plants another kiss on the other corner of my lips. Only this time, I could feel the subtle flick of his tongue against my skin.

"Get a room, you horndogs! It's always the fancy kids." shouts the dinerlady. Gideon laughs as she says and Cara is embarrassed.
" But it's dangerous to play with fire, my dear."
As they start eating they again see cockroach roaming on there food. And now this time, they both made their way to home.
"Is there really a need to toss a coin now that we're dating?"
" I guess we can do without it." GIDEON is happy now he don't have to flip a coin for who will sleep on the bed.
But Cara has something different on her mind. She didn't mean that they can cuddle and sleep. But she meant to keep pillows between them both. So they can maintain there distance.
"The bed is always crowded as it is! I barely have enough space on my side of the bed! Do you really have to a fort with the pillows?"
" Mmmmm.... I wouldn't judge if you cuddled with the pillow."
" Why is it so hard for you to that I am actually serious about this? About you?"
" Because you are Gideon Clemonte. You don't fall in love. Least of all with someone like me."
In the middle of the night.
Cara wakes up as she hears noise. And Gideon is also not there.
"Gideon?"
She hears the noise from bathroom and follows to see what's going on? She sees Gideon vomiting the hell out of him.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm not saying that this has anything to do with the cockroaches or the hair I found in my milkshake at the diner. But I don't feel too good." And again he throws up.
" CRAP." Cara is guilty.
"It's true. You are only nice to me when I'm in pain."
" I'm sorry. I made us eat at the diner. I didn't think it would be that bad."
" My stomach's killing me."
She gives him the blanket. And tell him to get some rest. And turns his head to other side.
"Are you going to leave me here? Alone? Stay?" he requested.
This is all her fault.
" Okay." and comes closer to him.
And seeing her do so, he takes his head on CARA'S shoulder. And he sleeps peacefully. Seeing him made Cara guilty.
