At the couple dance,
"There's Sana!" Cara shouts.
"Let me get this straight, you were the one who insisted we come to this joke of a wedding. Yet now you're abandoning me!"
" Gideon? It'll be just for a while. " Cara says kissing on his cheek.
" Takahashi-san? My name is Cara Black, I represent Black Artiste Agency.... " and she talks with her.
While on the other hand Gideon is busy on the phone.
And there Smith comes,
"What the hell are you doing here today?" Smith asks.
" Same goes for you. " as he says getting shocked.
" I was invited as the ex of one half of the newly wedded couple."
" Which half? " he asks. Smith winks at him.
" What Austin? "
" Hey, what I do outside of business hours and who I date is none of your concern."
" Yeah, but am I the only one who has issues with his debatable fashion sense? ". Smith laughs at him.
" F*ck, you're whipped. You're here for her? I see she's trying hard to charm Sana. Honestly, she has nothing to worry about. I mean, she managed to charm you into spending your day here." Smith laughs as Gideon gives him a annoying look.
"You're not going to tell her about though? Sana Takahashi's Uncle owns Great Hit Entertainment, the very company that stole our broadcasting rights and cost us millions. What would the others think if they knew your fiancee is trying to get someone from our rival company to work with her?"
" That she's capable and takes pride in her work." Gideon compliments.
" Tell that to the board of directors in our next general meeting."
" Gideon! " someone calls out his name.
Gideon is shocked to see who it is.

Adrianna and Gideon are in school..

Gideon takes a step close towards Adrianna. Her body tingled at the more thought of his touch, the way his piercing gaze made her knees weak. He leaned in and she angles her neck almost instinctively. As his lips brushed against her earlobe, he whispered so low that they were the only ones who could hear it.
"Please don't talk about my fiancee like that." and leaves. Adrianna is left with mouth open.
At the corner, where Cara and Sana are standing.
"I have to admit, the demo is amazing. I love how the melody flows, in fact, I can already tell you it's story. Normally I would not hesitate to collaborate on something like this. But are you sure about it....?" asks Sana Takahashi.
" A-am I sure?"
Sana nods. " You're the Cara Black who's engaged to Gideon Clemonte right?"
" Yes, but please! I don't want you to feel obligated to accept my offer because of the Clemonte's...."
" No, you don't get it, do you? Haven't you heard? I shouldn't be accepting this because your a Clemonte. I work for my uncle who owns Great Hit Entertainment... " and she tells her the whole story.
At the garden,
Cara is finding Gideon. And she finally finds him standing in the garden looking through his phone.
"There you are!"
"Yes, you're done! We can finally leave!" Gideon says in excitement.
" Not so fast. You know about Sana, I told you about her. But why didn't you tell me she's working for your rival?"
" It's not a big deal, Cara. You need to get your job done and I respect whatever you need to do as Black's CEO. I didn't want to make a big fuss over nothing."
" It's not nothing! We got engaged because your father wanted people to have a better impression of you! What would he think if he knew I was out sullying the good name of the Clemonte's by practically begging your enemy to work with me! You should have told me about this before I made a compete fool of myself."
" Wait, let me get this straight-You just learned that I am perfectly fine with you hiring someone who's related to the asshole who cost me millions. Mind you, I even agreed to come to this stupid wedding for it. But instead of feeling touched or thankful... You're mad at me?" and Cara is listening him and standing guilty over there.
"I get that Black's is important to you. I chose to turn a blind eye to this because I wanted you to be happy. But answer me this-All I'm hearing from you is how my father would be annoyed to this, how it's going to make you look bad. Did I cross your mind? Cause you're always on mine. Are you trying to protect my reputation because our marriage calls for it, or because you genuinely care about me? Cause I.... I don't know what I am to you sometimes."
" Gideon, I -"
" I think they are about to cut the cake. We should head back." and he leaves and it's just Cara over there. But that's not what it looks, it looks like Adrianna had heard the whole of this conversation.
At washroom.
"You are really an idiot." Cara says to herself.
And Adrianna walks into the washroom.
"Are you doing alright? You don't look too good. You don't happen to be the ex of the groom, are you? Is that why you're hiding out at the stalls?" and then Cara turns around to show her face to Adrianna.
"No wait! You're Cara! The girl engaged to Gideon!"
" I'll never get tired of hearing that." Adrianna laughs at her response.
"Adrianna, I'm family friends of the Clemonte's."
" Let me guess you and Gideon...?"
" Just go straight to the point, huh?" she laughs. " Yes, we dated. But that was nine years ago. We were in high school then! It's ancient history. Besides, I was engaged to a man in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, our wedding fell through." Adrianna says.
" I'm sorry to hear that."
"I'm surprised to see Gideon at the wedding though. It's pretty sad to spend your birthday at someone's wedding. Especially someone you don't like.". and Cara is shocked to hear what she is saying.
" You know it's his birthday today...right?"

The time when Smith and Gideon are talking.
"What the hell are doing here today? Isn't if your birthday?"

And she wears something casual first and then starts finding Gideon. And she finds him at the pool.
She is extremely nervous to talk to him. He is facing towards the wall.

And then Cara jumps into the pool. Gideon is shocked to see her doing so.
"F* ck! Cara!" and she is going deep inside the pool.
He helds her and helps her sit on the aisle.
"What was that?" Cara thinks
"What are you doing? Are you insane? Why would you jump into the water?" he asks.
She is coughing because of the water.
" You wouldn't talk to me. You wouldn't even look at me, so I thought...."
" That you'll swim out to me?" he completes it.
" I'm sorry. I'm sorry I couldn't see what you were doing for me and got mad at you instead. I'm sorry I dragged you to the wedding with me....on your birthday."

" I'm sorry.... It's all just so new to me. We're real, we're fake. I convinced myself you were someone I would never like but now....."
" Now?" he asks.

" That has got to be most romantic confession ever." he turns around to go.

And then she undresses herself and is only on her bra.

She giggles.
"I got you something too! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Gideon. Happy birthday to...." she says bringing cake in front of him.
"You..." but Gideon becomes so happy and comes up and kisses her.
" Gideon." and Gideon gets angry as she stops kissing him.
"I'm really really really, from the bottom of my heart, sorry. For the record, I've never apologised to anyone as much as I'm doing it now."
" So I'm supposed to be, grateful?" she nods.
CARA'S POV
You can do this. Remember all those trashy videos Trinity made you watch? Channel them - Big, close-to-tears eyes, pouty mouth, battling eyelashes.

And she shows him puppy face and tear filled eyes.
"It's not going to work." Gideon says rolling his eyes.
But then again, she shows the same face.

"Cara Black, you don't play fair." she giggles.
" You just jumped into the pool, and sang me a brithday song in your bra - which by the way, is the kinkiest thing anyone has ever done for me, and trust me, I've seen a lot. SlAnd now you're pouting? F*ck me."
Cara starts coughing.
" We need to get you into something warm!"
" So you're no longer mad?" he brings her blanket.
" What do you think?"
She giggles, "Chocolate cake?"
" I'd rather devour something else." and Cara is surprised to hear that and Gideon winks at her.
