Lighting a few candles in her heart, Tang Fei backed away from the black office door. Please just let someone normal be on the other side, she prayed silently while opening the door.
Thankfully on the other side it wasn't a creep, but Gan Mei. After shipping her off to Secretary Wen and the investigators, their previous enmity had cleared up some. Not exactly to the point where they were best friends, but they could have a couple civil conversations now.
"It looked like you were running back there. Are you alright," with a slightly concerned voice she popped inside the neat office.
Tang Fei raised an eyebrow in response before wearily laughing, "Our "office devil" turned out to be that black bellied game pursuer."
Gan Mei winced in response. "Tss, that's some tough luck Ms.Tang."
"Tell me about it," she sighed making her way to her desk. "You know anything about dealing with guys." Tang Fe was inexperienced to say the least when it came to situations like this, but Gan Mei might have some knowledge after being in the center of all office affairs for years.
Gan Mei shrugged. "I'm honestly a bit stumped, but.." with a light smirk she leaned against the wall.
"What," Tang Fei looked up at Gan Mei.
"You could always accept him, and have a thrilling office romance with the handsome boss," she gasped in an exaggerated manner, lightly snickering once she saw Tang Fei's glare.
"Actually I'll be fine. Goodbye Ms.Gan." Tang Fei dismissed her with a deadpan expression.
Still snickering slightly Gan Mei turned to leave with a wave, her red curls bouncing in a wave as she trotted outside the office.
Tang Fei, feeling mentally exhausted, massaged her temples with a groan, before pouting. "Maybe I should just go independent."
