Hikaru was still trying to destroy the reverse gun. Alex and Jason ran to the swimming pool hall as he followed.
'Okay, here we go.'
'What are you doing?'
'What else? I am going to fight you.'
Alex took a stance.
Hikaru had difficulty speaking during he was in this form and spoke the bare minimum but couldn't help but laugh now.
'You fight Me?'
'What's the matter? Scared?'
Alex gave his special irritating wry smile, which made Hikaru charged at him. Alex greeted his punch with his kick. He then again kicked him in the chest. Hikaru's eyes grew red. He was already mad and was now furious. He jumped and, for the first time, actually kicked.
'Wait, you can do t-'
Alex couldn't guard the kick and went flying a good distance before hitting the floor. Hikaru again raged at Alex but unexpectedly slipped and landed near the pool, almost getting in. Alex had told Jason to grab a bottle of liquid soap while making the aspirin.
Jason used the liquid hand soap to lubricate the surface near the pool, making him slip. Alex brought out Jason's gun and shot the dart. Hikaru couldn't dodge the dart in time. He immediately punched the water so hard that a wall of water formed. The final dart got deflected by the watery wall.
'Oh, come on.'
Luck wasn't siding with Alex when the battle was at its climax. Suddenly, Alex came through the water wall with the reverse gun in hand. He had sprinted while simultaneously taking out the reverse gun as soon as he saw the water wall form.
Alex was about to jab the reverse serum into Hikaru, but he grabbed Alex's head with his large hands and smashed it on the ground. Alex slid the reverse gun away from him for it to be safe, but Hikaru was not interested in it anymore.
He sat on top of him to keep him from struggling. He started pounding him his chest. Alex's rib broke as he screamed. Hikaru laughed like a maniac enjoying this moment.
'This is what you deserve.'
Blood came out of Alex's mouth and nose. Hikaru proudly said,
'You will never be as strong as me.'
'I'm…sorry…Hikaru.'
Alex coughed blood.
'I didn't know… you actually felt this way.'
Hikaru paused for a moment. He saw his reflection in the water, seeing what he had become. The water also reflected his actions. A sense of humanity whispered to him to stop. Hikaru turned his back from guidance and knew it was too late regret now.
'It's too late to apologize.'
Hikaru lifted his hands, preparing himself to smash Alex's head. He glared at him with fierce eyes letting his hatred run free. Alex returned it with a forced, weak smile. The smile showed no ill-will and was an earnest one.
'Why are you smiling!?'
Alex muttered.
'What did you say?'
Hikaru wanted to hear the answer, so he knelt down.
'I said…'
Suddenly Alex's smile grew more prominent.
'Now, Jason!'
Jason swiftly appeared from the inside the pool. He had both tubes in his hands. Hikaru forgot he was at the edge of the pool.
During the commotion, Jason had hidden inside the water. Alex made sure Hikaru only focused on him, making him forgot about Jason. Hikaru had his head down, and due to surprise, his mouth had opened up. He quickly rose up while covering his mouth with his giant hand.
Alex's smile grew even more intense.
--You don't have to drink the drug through your mouth to get it in. As long as it gets in the food pipe, it's all the same, and Hikaru, you forgot that both the mouth and the Nose are connected to the food pipe.
Jason forcefully thrust the tubes up Hikaru's nostrils. Hikaru stood up from Alex, trying to get them out. Alex was not going to let him have his way.
He speedily rose up to throw one last weak punch. It was strong enough to push the tubes further in. Hikaru slipped on the greased surface. The liquid aspirin was deep in and started to flow.
'It burns! It burns!'
The ethanol reacted with nerve cells in the nostril, giving a powerful stinging and burning sensation. Alex heard Hikaru's pained and agonizing voice and couldn't keep himself from laughing silently.
'This is why I told you to make the solution ethanol.'
'I thought your objective was not to hurt him.'
Jason got up from the pool, drying himself.
'What Hikaru did was unarguably wrong. I wasn't about to let him go without making him pay a little.'
Hikaru stood up from the aching pain. He knew he was drugged, and soon it will take effect. He saw the reverse gun. Jason realized what he was going to do. They both raced to get to the reverse gun.
Hikaru was still faster than Jason and got a split second before he could. He immediately smashed the reverse gun. But to his confusion, it was still there, and there were two of them. His ears started ringing, and his surrounding started to spin. The drug effect had already begun.
Usually, aspirin takes a while to take effect, but when you give someone more than 30 tablets at the same time, the result will be instant and extremely strong. *Or the person will die from too much aspirin, whichever comes first.*
He had seen two of them and smashed the wrong one. Jason picked up the reverse gun. Hikaru finally fell down after 5 more seconds and was out of service. Jason injected the serum, and after a minute, the Hairy Hulk transformed back into Hikaru. Alex was also somewhat healed enough to walk. He wobbly walked to Jason and put his hand on his shoulder to get support.
'See, sometimes you have to take a little risk to make the plan work.'
'You call this a little?'
'Well, maybe even I thought I was going to die, but hey, my plan worked, didn't it?'
'If you can call this success.'
Jason scoffed.
'So…now what? About the damage and stuff, I didn't actually think that part through.'
Jason was now used to Alex's way of thinking and had made preparations.
'I did.'
He took out his cellphone.
'Yes, it is me. You can begin.'
Within a minute, construction workers popped up from everywhere. Teams and teams of them swarmed the place. Alex was staggered by how quickly the area was filled with them.
'Everyone, get to work.'
The chief ordered
'We don't have all night.'
'WS agents can do anything, even rebuild a destroyed school overnight.'
Alex smiled.
'I'll remember that.'
'The construction work will be completed overnight. It will be like this never happened.'
'What about the students, teachers, and Hikaru?'
'They will continue to live there daily normal life.'
'How?'
Jason signaled a group of men who were bringing a massive machine.
'Bring it here.'
'What is that?'
'A miniature electro memory manipulator, also known as EMM. It can accurately remove and implant memories for up to three days.'
'That is so awesome.'
'For Hikaru, the original one is waiting which can remove and implant memories up to 3 months'
'I didn't know the world has already made that.'
Jason began walking out of the school. Hikaru was placed on a stretcher as he pulled him along.
'The world has not, and it should stay that way.'
'Can I add some memories into Hikaru?'
Jason coldly refused.
'No.'
'Come on.'
'No.'
'Please.'
'Negative.'
'You're mean.'
'Keep this up, and I'll wipe out your memory too.'
Meanwhile, from a distance, a man in a lab coat watched Jason and Alex walk out with Hikaru. A pleasant smile appeared on his face. He texted the message on his phone.
'He passed the test with flying colors. Moving onto the next phase.'
