"I can be a fool at times. I accept that. But promise me that you won't confront her about this." I pleaded. I didn't want to be the reason for any more misunderstanding between them. They were already not talking to each other and that was clearly because of me. I didn't want them to get any worse than that.
"Why shouldn't I? This is a potential threat you know?" He spat back at me while narrowing his eyes.
"Yes, but there's no way she will harm me." I replied to him with a frown of my own.
"Do you really believe that?" He looked at me skeptically, refusing to believe my words.
"No!" I exclaimed out loud. "I don't. But she cannot hurt me even if she comes after me. So it'd be utterly pointless for you to go and make things worse."
"How are you so sure that she cannot hurt you with her powers. You do remember that she's also an angel." He mumbled under his breath as he took a step close to me.
