"Are you going to help me or not?" I spoke up loud enough for my voice to reach him. I could feel his piercing gaze glued to my back. It seemed like he was trying to have a look inside to figure out the reason behind my actions.
The reason was simple enough. Dana was starting to get on my nerves since the moment I had arrived. I was trying my best to keep the burning rage in me in check, but every word which flew out of her spiteful mouth was pushing me over the edge. And the words she whispered into my ear were the ones which snapped my patience into half.
To think that I was there to help her out, I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. The silent laugh laced with mockery was echoing in my ears. I could sense my subconscious dancing somewhere in there at my foolishness in her red boot heels, tapping her feet against the obsidian floor of my mind.
