I had long known that Dana wasn't as simple as she seemed to be. She always had something against humans. But I failed to realize that she would go as far as hating her own kind.
Not liking someone was understable, but going to the extent of sending her threatening notes was a step too far. A step which I could never forgive. I would have never asked her to accept my friendship with Amara. Hell, I would have never even asked her to come face to face with her. There was no need for her to go to this extent.
I could feel the blood rushing through my veins as my hold around the paper tightened. It wouldn't be wrong to say that my blood was boiling, or at least it was about to reach its boiling point. I had always turned a blind eye to her prejudice against other beings, but it would no longer be the case.
