For a week Gabriel was kept in his cell til finally Michael released him. It turns out Gabriel is very convincing it only took some very well said words and Michael excepted him back like nothing had happened.
For The three of us left in the cells however life became very boring. It didn't help that Cam kept tying to get me to talk to him. I couldn't do it he had betrayed me. He had tried to kill the love of my life and I would never forgive him for that.
I knew I should never had trusted him the only person I could trust was Reece. I know she was even now trying to get me back I only wished that she stayed safe. While he was in here Gabriel told us everything about what happen the night he saw her.
I smiled just thinking about her taking down Azrael, my little warrior. Then I thought of Kail and hoped like hell he was watching her back.
I had completely healed by now the scars left by Michael still red raw a sharp contrast from the ones left by my father and his training or what he classed as training which was more experimenting on ways to implant the demon inside me.
Those were the worst years of my life I knew my father had made a deal with the demon that he would give him a strong body to possess for as long as he served him. He didn't care that I was his son I was just a tool he could use. He didn't count on me joining haeven though, I knew I couldn't fight the demon forever so it was the only way to guarantee the demon could never fully take control.
On the seventh day of Gabriel's punishment he was taken out of his cell. True to his word to Sariel he begged Michael to take him back.
It wasn't long after that Gabriel came back opening my cell.
"What's going on?"
"Where are you taking him?"
Both Cam and I asked at the same time
Gabriel looked at us in turn a grave expression written on his face.
"I am sorry Dantalis I misjudged you. I can not stop what Michael has planned."
I knew what that meant
"There must be a way Reece will be crushed, Gabriel there has to be a way."
He scowled in Sariels direction it was the first time I had ever seen him angry with her.
"If I'm to do as you ask I must let this happen. If I save Dantalis Michael will never forgive me. It is his way of punishing both of them."
"But that's the worse kind of torture to see each other and never be together you of all people should know how it feels."
He stared at her sadly
"It's fine I understand perhaps she is better off without me."
Gabriel snapped his head back
"No Dantalis I know now you are the only one suited for her and I am sorry for not seeing that at first."
"It doesn't matter now. soon Soneillon will take over."
"What did you say?"
I looked at Gabriel confused
"You said Soneillon yes?"
I nodded
"Why does it matter?"
A fleeting smile formed in his face but disappeared so fast I thought i wasn't sure if I had imagined it.
"It's nothing come we make the exchange tonight."
I nodded I would not let them see me defeated I held my head high my wings off the ground. They will not see me falter as I followed Gabriel out. As the door shut I heard Cam whisper.
"I hope one day you can forgive me for what I did."
I hoped so too.
Pausing out side the door to where they would perform the oath breaker Gabriel turned to me.
"When it happens and Soneillon takes over you must remember that his actions are not your own. Whatever he makes you do it is not your fault it is all him. He may take control of your body but he can never have your soul."
"I am afraid not for myself but for Reece what if I hurt her."
"Reece has proven that she can take care of herself do not fear for her."
I nodded he was right about all of it but it did not change the fact that I was about to be taken over by a demon and I could do nothing to stop it.
Entering the room there was a circular seal caved into the floor with angelic runes scribed into it. Michael stood in the middle while Raphael and uriel stood at the circles edge Gabriel took up a spot on the edge aswell guiding me to stand before Michael.
"Dantalis you are charged as a traitor and will be stripped of your oath as you are unworthy of being an angel of heaven. You are here by cast out of heaven and will be forever marked as a traitor to god."
I remained silent I refused to beg him to reconsider though every fibre in my being screamed it.
All the archangels present used thier angelfire to carve a rune in the air. An Erie wind gathered each flaming rune combining them into one. The seal below us glowed as a mist formed. the angelfire rune sat in the air above my head as the mist entered my body.
The pain was excruciating much worse then anything I had ever felt in the centuries I had lived.
I screamed in agony as what felt like a hand reached into my very soul and ripped out the slice that was my oath.
Once done I collapsed to my knees it happened so fast I barely had time to pause.
"Finally I can be free."
"Nooo!!!"
I screamed at the demon
"Face it Dantalis your days of fighting me are over your body is mine but don't worry I will allow you to watch as I use your body to do my bidding."
I made one last feeble attempt to cage him in my mind but he was too strong he smashed through my walls caging me instead.
We were in my mind as he stood looking at me through my bars he bore my face.
Stretching he smiled
"Ahh it feels good to be free."
I spoke through gritted teeth.
"Enjoy it whole it lasts Soneillon I will find a way to be rid of you."
"You have been saying the for centuries Dantalis your words no longer hold the same intensity."
He disappeared but true to his word he alllowed me to see what he saw and all I could do was watch as he laughed in michaels face bowing before him.
"I thank you Michael for freeing me for that I vow when Lucifer comes to tear down your walls I will not be the one to kill you."
Michael stared a us a look of disgust on his face
"How honourable of you for a demon."
Looking to the others he ordered
"Bind him I'm eager to be rid of this pest."
Gabriel places chains on our wrists and lead us out headed for earth where they would exchange us for Azrael.
The demon remained silent on the outside however he taunted me on the inside.
"He is not my father you killed my father."
"Well she's a feisty one can't wait to take her for myself."
"Don't you dare lay a hand on her."
"Oh come now Dantalis I know you want to see what's underneath those clothes. That alabaster skin those perky breasts such a fine little thing."
I growled
"I swear I will kill you if you lay one finger on her."
He laughed
"Ill make you a promise I'll let you out for round two."
Furious I beat against my cage it was futile I know but I had to try.
"I know you want her Dantalis I can feel this body respond to her very presence. The way she moves those thighs I bet she tastes amazing."
Gabriel tugged on our chains as he lead us across the clearing.
"I know you can hear me Dantalis remember what I said."
The demon in me smiled at Gabriel's words
"Yes Dantalis remember his words but we both know even if you could free yourself Reece will always see me and not you especially after what I have planned for her."
I punched the wall of my cell this was the worst torture. I'm sorry Reece you deserve better then me for a mate.
"Oh yea I had forgot she was your mate that will make the sex that much better."
I tried to ignore him Reece will figure it out and when she does she will never let him near her.
They brought Azrael out he was in in bad shape I knew what had happened to him but seeing it in person made it more real.
"She did THAT to him this females even better than I thought I'll have to be careful she might explode on me when she cums."
"ENOUGH!"
"What's a matter Dantalis I said I'd let you watch."
I ignored him to furious to answer. I couldn't stop the feeling of helplessness overcome me. Shrinking further into the back of my mind.
"That's it Dantalis give in you know there is no hope for you now."
The exchange over Reece threw herself into our arms landing a kiss on our lips. True to his words Soneillon made me watch as he kissed her back devouring her lips as he worked his tongue into her mouth. My fists clenched I wanted to turn away but I couldn't he wouldn't let me.
Suddenly she broke away staring deep into our eyes and my heart soared she knew it wasn't me.
"You will never have her now."
"How naive you are Dantalis I do not require consent though it would be preferred."
I screamed at him
"If you dare force her I will rip you apart you will suffer the worst kind of pain."
I continued threatening him with all kinds of horrors as he turned to Reece
"Oh he's in here little fledgling trust me he's screaming at me, this very second."
I knew that every threat I threw at him was an empty one, I could do nothing.
Once Reece was gone Soneillon raised an eyebrow at Lucifer.
"She is still Unpledged?"
"All in good time she made an unbreakable vow. Her oath to me for Dantalis's safety."
"No!"
This can't be she made a deal with my father she was willing to give up her freedom for me. Didn't she know that was the last thing I would want. She didn't belong at Lucifers side I couldn't believe it and I could do nothing to stop it. She would be forced to do Lucifers bidding and for what for a male possessed by a demon. My heart bled knowing the despair she must be feeling.
The hope I held of us being together again diminished further. I sank to my knees as Soneillon laughed at my pain. I was in hell I knew it now and I hated it.
