A month have passed quickly since Souta became a goblin. A lot of things happened to him while he was stuck here in the labyrinth. Currently, he was living in the nest of the goblins.
He officially became a member of that hobgoblins group. He didn't know how this happened but that hobgoblin took care of him. A group fight could hardly gave him an exp points so he just managed to level up to 9 but, he knew that he would be able to level up to 10 soon as he already received a lot of exp from the previous kills.
He join the hunt of the group and practice in the nest. He didn't need to socialize himself to this kind of monsters who rape woman. He already have a feeling that there's woman here in the nest. He just don't know where they are. Just thinking what these goblins do to his mother and those woman was enough for him to massacre the goblins. Unfortunately, he's too weak right now and his priority is not to kill the goblins but to became strong and found a way back to earth.
Although, he was only level 9, his stats greatly increase because of his training regime. He was so much stronger than the first time he kill the giant toad.

He felt a little satisfied while looking at his stats. Based on the fighting abilities that the goblins showed he know that he was stronger than them. He could beat any goblins in the group in one on one except the hobgoblin. The hobgoblin could fight ten goblins at the same time while he could only fight two or three goblins at the same time. There's still so much gap in strength but it only need time and training to close the gap.
He then showed a bored looked on his face and muttered, "I'm already tired in this place. I wanna meet Aisha right now. I miss her so much. I wanna play in the arcade to satiate my boredom. I haven't still watch those newly released anime."
He sat on the ground and looked at the ceiling. He wondered what's currently happening on earth.
Is there really a way back to earth? was the question that he want an answer the most right now.
He then saw his leader, the hobgoblin, walking towards him.
The hobgoblin arrived in front of him and said something that he couldn't understand. He just know that once this hobgoblin came to him it only means that they will go out to hunt some monsters.
He sighed and picked up his sword before he slowly stood up. The hobgoblin turned around and he followed behind him.
He looked at the sword in his hand. He should've join a kendo club back on earth. He don't know the way of the sword. He's just swinging the sword without any form. Well, there's no medicine in regret so he could only put this thought in the back of his mind.

Souta and the rest of his squad were silently walking while looking at their surroundings. They we're looking for their prey that they could easily kill.
Then, they saw a lone wolf ten meters away from them.
The hobgoblin looked at his back and at the front of the wolf. Confirming that there's no other monster here the hobgoblin charge straight to the wolf.
Wooosh!!
The hobgoblin raised it's sword up in the air and quickly brought it down at the wolf.
The wolf's ears twitched as if it sense the incoming hobgoblin. Then, it quickly jumped at the side avoiding the sword at a hair's length.
Clang!!
The sword missed the wolf and hit the floor producing a strong metallic sound.
"Grrrr!!" The wolf looked at the attacker and growl angrily.
The hobgoblin observed the wolf as Souta and the rest of the goblins went beside him. Then, Souta and the goblins scattered and surround the wolf.
Roar!!
The wolf pounced at the goblin at his side. When he was about to bite off the goblin's head, the hobgoblin appeared in front of him and block his fangs using it's sword.
Clang!!
The goblins quickly advance forward and jumped at the wolf. They use their weapons to pierced the body of the wolf.
"Grrraaaa!!" The wolf roared loudly when his body was stabbed by different weapons.
The hobgoblin frown and it quickly moved his sword.
Putchi!!
The head of the wolf flew in the air before it landed in the ground. The blood scattered everywhere like a fountain.
'It's easy hunting in group looking for lone monster.' Souta thought while looking at the headless corpse of the wolf.
He then turned his head and looked at the hobgoblin. It's already clear that hobgoblin was smarter than goblin. They haven't met a single mishap in their hunt. The hobgoblin know the monster that they could easily kill in just a glance. Maybe it's using an appraisal? No, if that really the case then those monster will be able to sense him in an instant.
He didn't carelessly used his appraisal as it could cause a discomfort to the he uses it on. It will only bring him disaster. He could only use it on equipments and items.
Suddenly, he felt a chill on his back. Not just him, everyone felt it too. Souta quickly turned his head and looked at his back.
There, he saw a twenty meters giant snake. It have a glossy black scales that make it looked terrifying. It's eyes was gleaming in the darkness.
"What the...!!" Souta was shocked. He felt his body shiver when the giant snake scanned him. There's no other choice right now, so he use the appraisal skill.
