Osaka, Japan.
A certain teen aged girl was in hear room holding a picture frame. She have a long hair that was tied into a ponytail. A part of her bangs flow down framing her face. Her looks was above average but below idol level.
Her name is Aisha Todo. She was the childhood friend of Souta Kiyomi.
Aisha have a melancholic look on her face as she looked at the picture in her hands. There's two children, a boy and a girl, on the picture holding hands. At their back, a nun was standing there with a smile on her face.
The boy and the girl were none other than her and Souta. This picture were captured when they were still living at the orphanage.
The two of them grew up in the orphanage. The Sisters there took care of all their needs. They even let them go to the school of their own choice even if it's a private. She even go to a dojo to learn sword and the Sister paid and bought all of her necessities.
"I haven't tell you my feelings yet..." Aisha said then she started to sob as tears pour down from her eyes. She wouldn't expect that this would happened. He, of all people, would die.
At first, she didn't believe it when she heard the news but when he saw the site she could only cry in despair.
The part of the school building that explode were Souta's classroom. Even the other classroom were destroyed but the people there survive. Unfortunately as the epicenter of the explosion Souta and his classmates didn't survive the explosion.
There's one thing that made the government baffled and that's the thing that appeared there. At the site, there's a five meters in diameter whirlpool swirling in the air. The space looks distorted and it feels heavy there. This unknown phenomenon made the public go crazy. Some people said that the world is going to end and some said that the god will decent down on mortal world. The people who go there will experience a dizziness before fainting. People could only go there for five minutes before losing consciousness.
This kind of explosion didn't only happened in Osaka Japan but also in other countries all over the world. Canada, Spain, America, China, Russia, etc. experience it at the same time and the same thing also appeared.
All the people that got caught in explosion where nowhere to be found so after a month of not finding them the government declare that they were dead. Although the people already saw the whirlpool the government looked down the entire area around the whirlpool because of it's unknown effect to the body of a person. They sent an expert to analyze the never before seen phenomenon. They tried their best and use various technology to understand the whirlpool but after a month their investigation haven't received a good result.
People of earth have no idea about what's happening in the world. No one know that an impending calamity was slowly devouring the world.

Aisha wiped the tears in her eyes before she stood up. She walked towards the window and looked at the starry night.
"Souta... I miss you so much." She muttered then felt the ground shook. She thought it was earthquake. She then noticed that the site of the explosion were shaking. The earthquake came from the site but slowly expanded that people could see it with their eyes.
She then crouched down and covered her head as the ground kept shaking. After a few moments the earthquake stop.
She stood up and looked at the site. She saw that it was still fine. It was still covered by government's tools to cover it from public's eyes.
Suddenly she saw a meter size spider came out of the site. The spider was chewing a man with it's sharp fangs.
"W-What's that?!" Aisha opened her eyes widely as she looked at the huge spider.
There's no spider that huge in this world. There shouldn't be a spider that could devour human like that.
Then, another spider came out of the site.
This scene shocked her to the core. She quickly crouched down as she hugged herself. She was trembling in fear as this was the first time she saw that.
"What's happening...?!" Aisha muttered with a look of fear in her face.
Ever since the mysterious explosion happened around the world strange phenomenon kept appearing all over the world.
Aisha stood up and went to the kitchen. She picked up the kitchen knife before she went below her bed. She couldn't think straight as she was panicking. She just kept hiding under the bed. She didn't know how much time passes. She couldn't think logically anymore as she was slowly being consume by her fear.
It's already 12 at night so people only noticed the earthquake but they didn't noticed the huge spider that came out of the explosion site. They thought that it was only an ordinary earthquake.
Bang!!
A spider barge into the apartment she was staying in.
A chill run down in her spine as she heard a scream from her neighborhood. She then heard several scream all over.
She thought that the huge spiders was devouring the people in the apartment.
Boom!!
A loud explosion happened as a part of the apartment exploded. It seems that the gas tank exploded.
Aisha then remembered Souta's face. She then released the knife in her hand and slapped herself.
Pak!!
She took a deep breath as she tried to calm her down. She started to think about what's happening.
Those huge spiders came from the explosion. There's only one place that those monster came from and that is the mysterious whirlpool. It seems that place is some sort of portal.
The bodies of the Souta and the rest of the victims can't be found in the site.
Aisha came out of the bed and looked outside.
'There's a possibility that I could find Souta there.' Aisha thought while looking at the site.
