Chereads / The Day That You Saved Me / Chapter 22 - Day 19 (Tuesday)

Chapter 22 - Day 19 (Tuesday)

I woke up to Blade's alarm, extremely tired.

I got dressed and went to school with Blade.

"You look tired, when did you sleep?" He asked me.

"About 2 am," I said.

"Next time, sleep earlier." Sighed Blade.

Walking to school was silent.

In the first period, I was called to the office.

"You needed me?" I asked while walking into the office.

I see Chase, standing there, with a bunch of bodyguards surrounding him.

"Hi, Brother." Said Chases, standing there.

"W-wha? What are you doing here?" I stammered, taking a step back.

"I came to get you." He said, looking confident.

"No, I'm not going with you," I said, walking away.

"C'mon! I'm your brother! Why don't you trust me?" He asked.

"Think about it yourself," I said, closing the door behind me.

after my morning classes finished, the lunch bell rang.

"I heard that you got called down to the office, are you ok?" Blade asked.

"Chase wanted me to go back with him," I said, I made sure my tone made it sound like I don't want to talk about the topic anymore.

Emma walked by me and Blade and made a face, I blushed.

"Are you sure you are ok? Your face suddenly turned red." Worried Blade.

"I'm ok!" I said, scarfing down the rest of my food.

"Blade, do you have any siblings?" I asked.

"Ya, I have a sister," Said Blade.

" What's she like?" I asked.

"She's kind and caring, and she protects me from bullies, even though I was older than her." Laughed Blade

"Where is she now?" I asked.

"I dunno," He said.

Lunch was over, and the rest of my classes was easy enough.

Walking home, Blade decided to eat snacks on the way home.

"This! This one tastes good!" Said Blade, trying a sample.

"No, we're going home," I Said, dragging Blade away from the stores.

"Are you always like this?" I asked, tired from dragging Blade away.

"No, I only act like this when I have people can bother." Said Blade, smiling.

"And, bothering people is your strong suit." I sighed, flopping on the sofa.

We both laughed.

"I'm tired." He said, sitting beside me.

"Well, it's your fault that you went on and ate a bunch of samples, and walking around like that." I sighed.

"Sorry, I didn't know we were outside for 2 hours." Said Blade, leaning his head on my shoulder.

Blade is so close!

"Go lean on a pillow or something, I'm not your pillow," I said, pushing him away.

"Fine," Sighed Blade, going to his room, then comming out carrying a pillow out.

"Here," Said Blade, putting a pillow between us.

"I didn't mean literally," I said, throwing his pillow across the room.

"Then what did you mean?" He asked, whining like a lost puppy.

"I meant don't lean on me!" I said, crossing my arms.

"Fine," Said Blade, pouting.

We both laughed.

"Do you want to go to cook together?" Asked Blade

"Sure, what recipe?" I asked Blade. He has never succeeded to make a good dish, other than the dish he first made me. Eggs.

Baking cheesecake was hard.

"You forgot to but sugar and salt!" I said.

"Sorry" Said Blade, from across the kitchen.

"That's too much!" I shouted, scooping sugar out.

"My hand slipped!" Said Blade, getting the salt.

"The crusts ready!" I said, looking at the time.

"Ah!" Yelped Blade, knocking over a bag of flour on the shelf.

"Hey!" I shouted, and Blade tripped and knocked me down.

"S-sorry," I said, getting up quickly.

I will not bake with Blade unless it depends on my life.

"This tastes pretty good!" Said Blade, eating the second bite.

"Ya, and it took to long to make though," I said, shooting Blade a dirty look.

"You have some on your face," Said Blade, leaning over and wiping the cream off my face.

"Uh, I'll go wash my face," I said, pulling back and running to the washroom.

After washing my face and walking out, the whole cake was gone.

"Slowpoke." Laughed Blade.

"You ate the whole cake!" I said, laying down.

"Ya, and who takes half an hour to wash their face?" Smiles Blade.

"Fine," I said.

"It's so late," I said, looking at the time.

"Good night." Said Blade.

"It's only 7 pm," I said, opening the game console.

"Let's play some games," I said, as I connected the two controllers.

----------3 hours later-----------------------

"How come I keep losing!" I shouted, throwing the controller across the room.

"Because your bad at this game," said Blade.

"Damn my luck!!" I shouted, picking the controller back up.

"You should go to sleep." Said Blade, closing the console.

"Ok, night," I said, walking to my room.

"Night," Replied Blade, still sitting there.

These days, I had more fun than I imagined, having a person by my side is the best.

I just hope these moments never end.
