Ryder and Jakob gathered with the larger group of people that were on the teleport runes. Both noticed that many of the people around them were dressed to be sturdy. Many of those who were dressed this way also looked like beginners. Anything could be brought into the Emperor's world, but many modern things seized to work once being teleported.
Ryder was going over everything he had learned in school, atleast what he could remember in his head. He knew the rules of the world and followed them blindly. The rules of the Emperor's world were 1.) No one is allowed to use guns. 2.) No one shall enter another's dwelling without permission. 3.) No other rule system shall be cared for.
This world followed what was called Darwinism. Only the strong survive.
In this world there was no government, only the Emperor's rules. These rules did not prevent murder, theft, or any heinous act that one would be arrested for in the colonies.
"Three, two, one, prepare to teleport," a booming voice sounded from the loud speakers of the station.
Jakob and Ryder teleported through instantaneous along with everyone else. The first thing anyone saw in the Emperor's world was a large direction sign which led to the castle gate, Emperor's Stone, and the community commons. The castle was filled with hundreds of thousands of people, many people were just visitors, others were people who went to start a new life and avoid the colonies.
In the Emperor's world everyone could be who they wanted and do whatever they wanted. Even though killing was wrong many still did it, though it was a unspoken rule to not kill. Even though punishment couldn't be sought, murders were untrusted, hated, and would recieve little to no help from others.
Just like anywhere else where humans resided, there was a hierarchy. This hierarchy consisted of those who were either rich or very strong. Any who upset the hierarchy would be ridiculed and had a very hard time getting help. The only way to get stronger was with help from the hierarchies, as for first it is hard to acclimate and adapt to the style of this world. Help would be in the form of existence fragments, weapons, kill squad, etc.
Getting on the bad side of any of the hierarchies would basically be social suicide of one's life.
The influence of the hierarchies really only spread with in that specific castle, so suicide in one castle fortunately did not equal suicide in other castles. Though the distance in between where the castles are located from each other is too far for many to walk and survive.
In castle Ignova, the home castle of Ryder and Jakob, the hierarchy consisted of four groups. The Fallen Angels, The Revived Spirits, Get Away, and an unnamed group who's leader is Tobias. Everyone refers to Tobias's group as Tobias's Gang.
