Chapter 30 - The Hall,Again

She woke up to a movement beside her, and her body immediately jolted up, as she remembers who was beside her on the bed before she fell asleep.

"Xan?" her hoarse voice from just waking up from slumber called out to her brother, who was still unconscious. His finger twitched, and she quickly hold it for dear life. "Xandro?" she called out again, looking at his closed eyes and his furrowed eyebrows.

Daniel's eyes slowly fluttered open with difficulty, a pair of silver eyes identical to her staring back at her, slightly unfocused.

She helped him up, leaning on the headboard. When she saw her twin furrowed eyebrows, she instantly reached out for a glass of water on the bedside table, and passed it to Daniel.

"How are you feeling?"

"Better, I guess." he said with a hoarse voice.

"I'm glad you are okay." She shoots a small smile to her brother as she sighed in relief. "I don't know what would I do if I lose you." her voice cracked at the end, as the images of Daniel gone from her life dancing before her eyes.

She honestly did not know if she could live without him.

He open his arms, silently asking her to come. She immediately jumped in his arms, wrapping hers around him.

He caress her hair with such gentleness, "I wouldn't leave you. Ever." he said firmly.

"I wouldn't let you leave me, either."

From the beginning, her bond with Daniel is so strong she could feel what her twin feels. Even before her soul took this body, the bond is strong enough, and it getting stronger after she took this body.

"So," he cut her thoughts, "what happened? How can I be here? I thought I had die earlier."

She looks at him. Before she could open her mouth to answer, he beat her to it.

"Wait, how long have I been out?"

"Only a day. I surprised you are awake so quickly." then she quickly add, waving her hands frantically in the air, "Not that I wish you to wake up any later."

He smiled and nodded. "Only a day, huh? Isn't normally it will take longer?"

"Uh huh" she nodded in agreement. "Especially with a case as yours. Guess it was a miracle. You lost a lot of blood, as in a LOT. The doctor said you were not going to survive. Lucky you, they have your type of blood enough for you." she then gritted her teeth and clenched her hands into fists, "That b*tch sucked you dry. I swear I will make it up to her later."

"How come you know I was—" he paused, pondering for the right word, "—in need of help?"

"You mean 'dying'?I don't know. I just felt it, the uneasy feeling, you know. Guess it was twin instinct or whatsoever. Whatever it is, I'm glad I felt it." she tightened her arms around him, "I really can't lose you."

He kissed her hair, ran her hand up and down her slim back in soothing gesture. He too couldn't imagine how would he live without her if she was the one dying. And he couldn't leave her here alone either. Not after all the things that happened, what they have gone through. He glad he was the one dying, or else he would go nuts if it was the other way around.

He just hopes it will not come to that.

The door bursted open, as two men stormed in.

Daniella eyed them cautiously. What are they doing? Its Xavier's room. She sure he will be furious if he found out some random dudes intruded his private place.

Unless.....

The two men stride toward her and Daniel, in a rushing manner. Abruptly, each of them grab her and Daniel's arm, and force him to get up from bed.

"What the hell?!" she cursed loudly, "What are you doing?!Let me go!" she struggled against the man's inhuman strength.

"Shut up and follow us, woman." the man holding her snapped.

She groaned when she saw the man forcefully dragged Daniel out of bed, "At least treat him better. He's just f*cking wake up from a coma a few hours ago."

"Shut up, woman."

She smirked, looking at her captor challengingly, "Make me. "

He growled, "Don't f*cking test me, b*tch."

He pulled her arm roughly, almost making it break in half, and practically drag Daniella and her twin down the hallway.

They passed a couple of doors, and turned to a corner.

Wait, she find the way familiar.

She roamed her eyes around her surrounding and when she notice the various paintings hung on the wall, she clenched her teeth in tension.

The Hall.
