The first thing she feels as consciousness slowly coming to her was pain. A needle like pain all over her body. She was struggling to open her eyes, but a throbbing headache attacked her head. She groaned softly, gritting her teeth to keep the sound minimum.
Who knows if their enemy is still there?
At least with their enemy still don't know she has awake, she could maybe find a way to be ahead of them.
After a few moments of struggle, she managed to open her eyes. She squinted, trying to adjust to the darkness.
She pulls her hands a couple of times testingly, the sound of metal clinking against each other echoed through the dark room, before it quietened.
Shackles.
Both her hands and legs are tied with shackles on a chair very tightly, preventing her from escaping.
Goddammit.
How will they escape?
She swept her eyes across the room, scanning every crook and cranny of the room. There is nothing in the empty room, only a door and a small high window on her left. The room was dark, but with the moonlight seeping through the small window, she managed to barely see.
Xandro. Where is he?
She let out a sigh of relief when she saw Xandro is on another chair beside her, tied too and still unconscious.
At least he is within her reach.
There is sound of footsteps outside of the door, and she quickly closed her eyes, feigning sleeping.
The door slowly creaked open, followed by the sound of something clicked, and the next moment, the room become bright.
"That bitches are not awake yet. What should we do? "
"We wait. Boss asked us to wait until they are awake."
The 1 voice snorted. "They should not die yet. That bastard father of their's have been ruining our lives since decades ago. We should not let any of his descendents live."
Father? What did Father do?
"They are the only one left, right?"
"Yeah."
She just could feels the burn of their stares. Then, the sound of footsteps nearing her before a rough fingers grasped her chin, tilted her face upwards.
"Tsk. What a beauty.Should not be wasted."
"We should not touch her, Patrick."the other man warned.
" He would not know if you don't tell him. "
Sigh. Why everywhere she goes, all the men held ill intentions towards her?
" Really, Pat. We should not touch her. "the other man said sternly.
That Patrick released her chin roughly, groaned in dissatisfaction.
" I know, I know! I'm not that stupid to piss that monster off! "he spat.
Patrick gets up, his footstep fading away, before the door was shut close with a bang.
Daniella slowly open her eyes, the room became dim, as only an old bulb as the source of light in the dark, small room besides the moonlight.
Her thoughts came back to the little information she got earlier. What does that man meant?
What did Father do to make them hate him so much that the hatred they bare is lashing on his kids when he is gone?

It felt like an hour or so passed, before Daniel started to stir awake.
He groaned a little before he open his silver eyes.
"Where are we?" he rasped out.
"Don't know."
Silence.
Either he just realised our tied situation or he remember the events before he was knocked out, he asked, "You okay, Xav?"
"I'm okay. No big wounds. You?"
"I'm okay too." he nodded. "So, how are we supposed to escape?"
She looks at him, "That's the point. I'm afraid we are not." she cocked her head towards a certain direction. "Look at that." She pointed at the only window in the room is sealed with iron bars with her chin. "And that." the locked iron door in front of them.
"Oh."
Daniel stares at the door, before nodded. "Sigh, alright." he looks down, looking defeated.
"They are waiting for us to wake up. That means they want something from us because they did not kill us yet."
He nodded, then looks at her with a serious expression. "Don't do something stupid. Promise me."
She nodded, looking at him with equal seriousness.
The door clicked open again, and two men came in,one is skinny and the other slightly bulkier and taller. Both of them wear a disdain expressions.
She guessed its the men from earlier.
The men came towards Daniel and Daniella with a key. They fumbled with them for a moment, before they clicked open the padlock of their shackles.
They then roughly grasped their arms, forced them to get up. Daniella wobbled a little because of hours sitting on a chair, and the man handling her pulled her up using her hair harshly.
Daniella groaned. The pain. She felt like her every single hair gonna seperate from the roots of her head.
Seeing his sister in pain, his blood boiled in anger.
"You bastard!" Daniel roared, attempting to attack the man pulling Daniella's hair. But before he could step forward, the other man swings the long remaining shackles in his hand against his head. "Shut up."
Blood trickling down his temple, as he gritted his teeth in pain.
Daniella set her jaw, she clenched her fists, as she trembled with anger. "Don't touch him."
The men threw their heads back, laughing. "What is this bitch saying? Trying to act heroic, huh?" the man near her slapped her hard, making her head tilted sideways. The sickening taste of blood overflowing her taste bud.
"Xavia!" Daniel shouted, "I told you don't do something stupid!"
"Shut the f*ck up, man!" the bulkier man slapped the back of his head.
The men pushed the pair of twins out of the room forcefully, and into a dark hallway.
Along the way, they turned to a corner a few of times. The thick dark red carpet beneath their foot make their steps light and silent, without any unnecessary sounds.
She looks at her surrounding. The place screams rich, with beautiful paintings hung against the wall along the hallway, and the expensive vases here and there.
No one come across them, not even maids.
They stopped in front of mega double door, with guards guarding each side of the door. Seems like we have arrived at the destination.
One of the guard open the magnificent mahogany door, and the men from earlier pushed them inside of the room, without another word.
Their bodies jerk forward, before they balance themselves, and tilted their heads to the front.
The room was big, very big, akin to a hall. There's not quite a lot of people in the room, all looking at the new arrival pair of twins. All of them was seated on a comfortable chair, with cushion. The chairs lined up and stop at a throne, occupied by the center of attention, their leader obviously.
But, that face at the leader's side, she knows all too well.
She squinted her eyes, a look of hurt flashed before her eyes but it disappeared as she blink.
"I should not have trust you."
