I had no idea about who called the parents but I guessed it might me the queen. I had known Gabe's parents for 4 years of me working as his secretary and they liked me a lot. we proceeded towards them and Gabe said "mom dad why are you here?" his father answered "I am the chairman of he company so I thought of coming to see what's up." Now I asked to my parents "why are you here now?"
"actually the queen called us."
Why am I not surprised but what does she wants to do? Gabe's parents asked me "dear how are you? omg you and Gabe look so sweet together." They always wanted me to marry Gabe. I was talking to them and was standing beside Gabe. I suddenly felt a hand that touched my hand as I turned on my side to see who it was and it was James. He pulled me with him.
He pulled me and cornered me to the wall and he came closer to me and said "how dare you talk to someone else than me so sweetly?" I was confused about why was he telling me "what do you mean?"
"you are mine and I don't leave the anything that is mine." I didn't know what to say after this but I kicked him and walked angrily talking to myself "what does he think he is to tell me that I am his and does he think I am a thing? I am no ones but myself's." And now I saw Gabe running towards me and he said "My parents are waiting for you, where did James take you?" We walked down together as I told him about what just happened.
We went to dinning table together and I saw James already was sitting and waiting for us. Gabe just like a gentleman pulled the chair for me and then he took the chair beside me. I could say by Gabe's parents face that they were happy about us coming down together and now sitting together.
Queen came down and took her seat and asked me to do some stuffs which I don't know why. And I always messed up with that Job. In the whole day she went about doing the same thing that is giving me some job which required a lot of elegance and I messed up everytime.
But next day my doubt was solved when Gabe's parents told me "how can you be my son's secretary when you can't even do a tiny job nicely. I want you to stay away from him." Now I understood that the queen was trying to ruin my reputation in front of Gabe and his family. wow what a nice idea 🤦♀️. I told this to Gabe and he was also shocked and confused.
That same afternoon Lily was offered a room on the other side and of course being her best friend she took me to see her room. I couldn't me more shocked to see the queen room given to her I told her "Lily actually this is queen room." she started laughing and asked "wow nice joke haaaa."
"I am not joking." Looking at my serious face she asked "why would they but?" then I realized that during the breakfast on the table both the chairman and the queen were looking at Lily. I started thinking "what is happening?" then it suddenly clicked, to make sure that my life is destroyed the queen showed my shortcomings to the people who liked me the most. I told her that and she asked "so does that mean the queen planned the liking me thing as well?"
"I don't think so. because last day she was not even looking at you but today when you started showing your elegance she started liking you."
"what!!!! omg."
"don't get shocked it is not just it, according to me not just the queen but also the chairman stated liking you."
"what!!! I am not marrying the chairman."

"think Tara how can I be the mother of my own boss?"
"Lily I am talking about Gabe.they liked you for Gabe."

"I am explaining for the last time. So queen planned to make me look bad in front of Gabe's parents and was successful last day but today unknowingly and in an unplanned way they both started liking you for their respective sons. Understood?:
"That means I have to marry either of James or Gabe."

"but I have a boyfriend."
"I know. don't tell anyone about this. I have a plan that will clear my image in front of Gabe's parents and also stop your marriage."

"let's see who of Politics or Brain wins."
